Mei, on the other hand, had quite the distance to walk before she reached the gym. It wasn't exactly next door to her dorm room, so poor Night had probably been waiting a while, if he was even there. Arriving outside the gym, the doll stared up at it a moment before entering. At first, she didn't noticed the cat boil sprawled across the ground, or at least not until he spoke.
Locking her gaze on to his, Mei blinked a few times, noticing his change in wardrobe. The last time she had seen him, he was first year student. She was curious if he had upgraded since. Offering a smile in return, Mei closed the distance between them, stopping only a few feet away from him. "Hey, Night. Thanks for coming."
It was..a little awkward, having asked him for a spar out of the blue like she did. But after her spar with Tybalt, she really did need to blow off some steam. She saw that now. Hopefully, she wouldn't freak out on Night like she did with Tybalt. That..could strain their newly made friendship..that was for certain.
"Alright, sounds good then. Its been a while since I have encountered you. So I'm not sure what sort of tricks you might have up your sleeves for in combat." Tricks, meaning FEAR. Actually,she had no idea what any of his fear moves were. This..was going to be interesting.

Mei watched the boil carefully, as his fear slowly formed over his gloves. She hadn't seen something like that before, it was pretty damned cool in her opinion. Easing into her battle stance, she watched and waited as he readied himself. At his words, a small grin appeared once again, followed by a soft laugh. "No worries there."
When black cat made his move, she winced from the sharp pain in her shoulder. So that was what his fear felt like. It was different from others she had faced, and strong for a second year student. Waiting for her chance, she picked up her speed, using agility to reappear behind the before slamming her foot onto his shoulder in a drop kick.

"What..?" Where did that come from? Okay, something was definitely off about the boil. Stopping in her attacking for a moment, Mei stared at him a moment, almost trying to see if whatever it was that flashed in his eyes would show again. Unfortunately, she had no such luck at this time.
"Secret attack..?" He meant his fear, surely? The doll watched, shocked when his secret attack backfired and hit himself. Obviously, that didn't go quite as the black cat had expected. Though his words that followed were a little disturbing.
Racing over to him, the doll gripped at his shirt, and shoved him to the ground. "What the hell are you talking about, Night?"
