What a world.(Accepting)

In this medival fantasy world there are several small kingdoms scattered around and two Major kingdoms that most of the smaller kingdoms swear allegiance two. Though many races live within them, one is ruled by a house of men (as in humans), and the other by a house of elves. These kingdoms have seen peace and war over centuries of existence. The two ruling families have decided to try and finally unify their kingdoms, and instead of bloodshed they chose to try and of course, use their children. The son of men and the daughter of the elves. Who have hardly met before. The prince is a warrior he has fought of bandits and other troubles for his land. The princess knows how to defend herself but is a bit more diplomatic, and certainly much more quiet. Both are beloved by their lands and may have love lives of their own they were intertwined in. Behind the scenes the ruler of one of the smaller kingdoms, does not want to see these kingdoms unite, he is a man who wants to watch the world burn with fire, then from the ashes seize power and rule as he see fit. How will all this play out. Only you my dear roleplayers will bring me the answers I seek.

Bio&personality: Prince Maverick was born into nobility, he studied many topics but never had an art for diplomacy and it's subtle ways. He is more of an adventurer to the point he studied being a ranger to help him in combat. He became a mighty warrior prince and prefered light armor to heavy to keep himself nimble. He is a straightford man, honest, and patient. He wasn't too excited when he heard about this arranged marriage though.

Bio&personality: Xaundellyn is the princess of the Elven kingdom. She is the middle of three children, which had the effect of making her quieter and more diplomatic, almost nervous. She is soft and gentle by nature, though Xaundellyn does have a temper when pushed to far. She isn't sure what her feelings about her parents decision is just yet, but she will put her own feelings aside and do her best.

Bio & Personality: Jadwiya is the youngest of the Roe siblings and a lesser princess. Growing up in the shadow of her siblings, neither the heir or the marriageable daughter, Jadwiya always questioned her place in the royal family. As a child, she came to the decision that if she could not be the heir or the marriageable daughter, the only place left for her was the rebel, and that role suited her to the ground. She caused chaos, terrified servants, infuriated her family and burned social bridges with abandon, and each punishment only strengthened her hatred of her family and her life. Eventually, she took off a year or so before her sister’s wedding was announced, and she’s been living in Volvagia ever since, moving from place to place and continuing to leave mess and chaos in her wake. Maybe she’ll drop in on her big sister’s pretty wedding…it’s been a while since she’s caused some trouble.

Bio&personality: Raine is one of the many servants that work and serve the royal family of Timberland. Her family has always served the royal family and she's proud of it. She's a diligent worker and normally tends to the princess' requests. She's a resourceful girl, able to take care of herself and deal with most troubles. Being independent, she practices using a bow in her free time so she's not completely helpless if a dire event happens to occur.

Bio & Personality: Her life so far has been a strange mixture of power and loneliness. As one of the few guards anything close to the prince’s age, Atahlea has been assigned to his care off and on for years, and as they got older, she was the one most often requested for his personal guard. The coveted position lends her some power, not that she has any interest in doing anything with it—the only reason she likes her position is because of the odd sort of friendship she’s developed with the princeling. If it hadn’t been for that, the immense loneliness that comes with being a devoted member of the King’s Guard would have driven her away sooner or later. She’s a bright, strong, ambitious sort of girl, and after all these years, she isn’t afraid to tell the prince off when she thinks he’s being stupid—as long as no one else is there to hear, of course.

Bio&personality: Zaneth was born into the royal family of Volvagia, the youngest of 3 boys. As he grew, he came to admire both his brothers and his father for their valor, since of justice, and their kindness. Because Volvagia was a small nation and was on the boarder between the human and elf ruled factions, it was a place that was attacked much more by bandits and the like. Despite this fact, he never saw his father ask for assistance from Kassig, "These are our lands and our people. As the ruling party, it is our duty to protect them and make them fell safe in their homes. It is the least we can do considering that without her people, there would be no nation and we would be nothing." When Zaneth was 13, his father received a call to arms from Kassig. His 2 older brothers, 16 and 18, left with his father and most of the troops to answer that call. For the next 4 years, Zaneth's mother looked after the land and its protection. During this time, attacks from bandits increased and invaders under the Timberland banner invaded. Zaneth watched as many towns and villages were set ablaze and he watched the capital fill with more and more refugees everyday. When he came of age, he was not sent out to the front lines but fought along side his mother defending their home. Despite having the balk of their army away his was able to defend their home surprisingly well. She had a great mind for military strategy and excelled in swordplay. He learned much from her in these years. The war still left his nation battered. Many had lost homes, family and friends. He could feel the sadness of his nation and felt powerless to help them. A few weeks later, his father returned. He looked older and tired still Zaneth was overjoyed to see him home. That joy did not last long. Both his brothers had died in the war. For the next few years, Zaneth watched as his father tried to repair their broken nation and for the first time, went to Kassig for assistance. Zaneth went with him. It was a trip that he would never forget. At the age of 24, his father fell ill and never recovered. His mother followed shortly after. He began strengthening his nation. He did everything he could to make sure that his people would never suffer as much as they did during the last war. He was a kind and just ruler and his people loved him. Under his rule, the military strength of Volvagia grew tremendously. 5 years later he gets word that Kassig and Timberland were planing on joining their nations. The news sickened him. Out of respect for his father and the safety of his people, he had lowered his head to the Kassig crown but now they expected him to do the same with Timberland crown? This could not happen. He would not allow it to. Volvagia had lived in the shadows long enough constantly bowing and agreeing with Kassig. No enough was enough. Volvagia would suffer no longer.

Bio&personality: Lucas grew up on a farm at the edge of Volvalgia and when he was six years old, he watched it get burned down by the neighboring bandits. Both his parents were killed, and he was taken in by the castle and put to work as a servant, having nowhere else to go. When he was older he began his combat training under one of the knights. He was found to be quite talented with his words and his blade. Years later, when he heard of the unification of Kessig and Timberland, he was outwardly nonchalant, but within he seethed with rage, for he had blamed the appearance of the bandits on Kessig’s failure to aid Volvalgia. What only the highest ranking members of the castle knew was that Lucas had another personality that was sarcastic and vengeful, which was different from his normal, gentle and laidback front. This, combined with his skills led him to be used as another hidden weapon within the kingdom. Although Lucas is a guard, he is not often at a post, constantly getting called out to perform different tasks. But if asked, others would only shrug and reply that a captain had wanted a word with Lucas. Gardening is Lucas’ favorite hobby, reminding him of his parents and the life he lost so many years ago, and it is only during this activity that he feels the most at peace.

Bio&personality: Pit was born into a small family that so happened to be poor. His family was large, but they died one by one due to hardships until it was just Pit and his parents. They were evicted from their shed of a home because they could not pay rent, so they traveled around the world, conning people into giving them money; unfortunately, he and his parents conned smart bandits and his parents were killed, leaving Pit an orphan. Pit managed to get away, but he had no where to go, and his conning days were over, since his parents came up with all the schemes. He somehow got into cross dressing and began dressing up as a girl, and for some reason, he was hired as a servant to the royal family. He happily took the job since it gave him a place to stay and offered protection unless the castle was invaded itself. He enjoyed to play and laugh, and sometimes he would crack jokes, even though he was the only one who thought they were funny.

Bio: Shino has learnt to never trust anyone not even distant family members. When she was a child, at the age of 7, her uncle almost assaulted her youth but thanks to her loving sister, she was safe but the price of saving Shino was having her sister to take her place. The following day after the incident, Shino's sister committed suicide but jumping off a cliff. From that day forth Shino became a silent assassin who does contract killings and hunt down heartless men.

Gender: Male

Bio&personality: Lanthes is unlike most people. He was born into a normal family. No hardships happened and his parents still live to this day. He has an older brother, 4 years his elder. He was born in a small town near Kessig. His brother joined Kessig at a young age as a guard, when he was only 12. He taught Lanthes much about combat, though all was in sword training which Lanthes did not enjoy much. So, Lanthes trained himself in the art of a huntsman when his brother was not around, never letting his brother know that he was doing such. His brother thought attacking from a distance was a cowards way of fighting. The first time Lanthes fought his brother, at the age of 13, he used a bow to defeat him. Angered by his defeat, his brother went back to Kessig and for 3 years later, did not return. Lanthes left shortly after his victory in search of someone who could teach him how to use even more weapons than a bow and sword. Yet, all weapons he found to use bored him compared to a bow. He trained in a few martial arts as well, though the only one he really enjoyed was known as the Kigen arts. This could only be used while blindfolded as it used only the senses of sound and touch. Mainly, Lanthes just uses his scarf over his eyes so he can sleep during the day with others not knowing if he was awake or not.

Lanthes traveled to many towns and many villages. He gathered news and stories and even learned to play a few musical instruments to pay for housing and food on his travels. Lanthes honed his skills through the years by fighting off bandits he found, stealing from them and by sparring with guards. By sparring, of course that meant causing mischief until the guards came to fight him. He was thrown in a small jail in a town near Timberland only once. He escaped the jail without making a fuss and made a note that elves do not enjoy humans messing with them and not to return there anytime soon. Lanthes decided that this was the best way of living and decided to just roam around freely and have fun as he was now for the rest of his life. Much better than ending up being a lowly guard or something of that nature. Chasing down people just like himself didn't seem too enjoyable.

Carries a flute around as his musical tool and is very good at playing music.

Character name: Gabriel De Servantes

Gender: Male
Bio: Gabriel holds a dark mysterious past. Being given birth to and thrown away almost right away, Found by a woman and after a few days, he was abandoned. The cycle went on and on. It was a miracle how people kept on picking him up, but it was also a curse to him, cause the people who took him would always give up on trying to taking care of him. The curse stood strong until he reached the age of 12. When finally,someone took him and kept him. He was a rather mysterious man who goes by the name Kreig, he never showed his face to anyone, not even to Gabriel. Even after so many years, he never showed his face. The man actually got Gabriel's trust and vise versa. But the thing was that the man was and still is against the volvagia guards as he stated that he sees them as his enemies. So to Gabriel, Kreig's enemies are his enemies. With his strong loyalty to Kreig, Gabriel offered to work under Kreig. So this is who Gabriel is now, A contract killer or an assassin. He kills Kreig's enemies. But upon hearing the upcoming wedding of the other kindgoms, Kreig didn't like the peace they were planning to make.

So Gabriel was sent to stop the peace making which means he would be fighting along with the volvagian guards, but Kreig did say that it doesn't mean that he has to fight along with them. So he'll go solo like he always does. People might have heard of him or seen a glimpse of him while hes in action, where hes often referred as the "Contract Death Reaper". He only goes to meet Kreig whenever he finishes a mission and to get a mission. Other than that, he lives by himself and occasionally moves from one place to another, hence the wanderer status.

Personality: Quiet, Mysterious, Secretive, Smirks alot, Smart, Obedient to one specific person(Kreig), Can occasionally be short fused.

Maverick was standing on a foyer outside his bedroom looking out to the horizon. The garden was below him and was in full bloom at the moment but his eyes did not glance down at it. He was looking at the clear blue sky with his mind wandering about the decision his parents had made for him to be married. He knew nothing of this elven princess other than she existed. He wondered if he could really go through with this.

Pit knocked on Maverick's door with one hand while holding a large plate with the other, though it was hard for him to hold it steady as the plate was rather larger than his hands. "Master Maverick, I have your breakfast!" he called through the door. He then began to wonder if Maverick would have some jobs for him to do, and if so, he would do them with to the best of his ability as he did not want to go back to being hmeless.

Xaundellyn looked at Raine as the carriage rolled and bounded along. "Raine, can I ask you something?" The princess's soft voice filled the cab and she wrung her delicate fingers together. She turned her gaze to the carriages window and watched the trees go swiftly by. It seemed time way passing far to quickly, and soon she would have to meed the human Prince.

Zaneth had arrived in Kessig the previous night and had gotten an audience with the king as early as possible. He was now on one knee with his head bowed respectfully. There had been much time to think about what to say during the trip here. Now he only hopped that he would be able to get through to the king. "Your Majesty, he began, "I truly hope that you will reconsider this marriage. I understand your reasoning and I to wish for peace. My lands have suffered much over the years of war and nothing would please me more than to see an united land where war is but a past memory. Nothing would make me happier but please consider what you are about to do. This marriage will not appease past grievances on ether side. The feelings of distrust and hatred do not disappear so easily. I fear this marriage will bring about a new war that is far worse than the one that we have faced. I fear this move will spark a civil war. It is one thing to look into the eyes of an enemy who you hardly know and cut their throats but quiet another to have that enemy be a fellow countryman, a brother, a sister, or a friend. I come before you this day in hopes that you will change your mind and seek another solution for peace."

Maverick smiled as he heard the voice of his servant entering the room. "Ah yes thank you Pit. Just leave it over thereon the table." He sighed "The princess is supposed to be arriving some time today. I need you to do a quick sprucing up around the castle today. Once that's done feel free to take the rest of the day off." He had heard someone had requested an audience with his father, he wondered how that was going.

"Yes, Master Maverick," Pit said as he carefully sat it on the table obediently. As he was about to leave the room, he looked over to Maverick, wondering how he was feeling. He was about to ask, but then, if he did, his chores would never get done, so he left, closing the doors behind him

The first part of the he was going to the main entrance, since that was going to be the first thing the princess saw, and he wanted it to look nice, but then gain, the first thing the princess would see outside of the castle would be the stairs. Pit quickly ran down the corridors until he reached the front of the castle. Out of breath, he opened the doors and saw that the stairs and its banister were dirty, so he got out the clothe he had with him and began to clean those, and then, he went back inside and saw that the main room needed to be to be more shiny than what it did, and so, Pit decided to give it another shine. He went to a closet where they kept the cleaning supplies and headed back and began his official duty.
