[1v1] Handling Senpai's Weapon (Mot and Yin)

If he was going to become stronger he had to be careful. Not go all out and wear himself down to the point he could barely drag himself to his mother's office. No, it would be better if she did not know about anything other than perhaps him training a bit more, understandable with Alexander gone.

But he needed new experiences, different experiences. When he saw the cowboil walking past he knew he needed him. Not desperately, but there was certainly want in his eyes. Fighting against a gun was different, and their one other spar had been on...less than equal terms, with Yin worn down as he was. Yin was determined as he approached, lifting a hand in a small wave. "Greetings Mot, may I request a spar? I will purchase a coffee for you if you win."

Yin offering to spend money on someone? This was serious.

Mot was always willing to help with a spar. The added bonus of free coffee was the icing on the cake. "Sure!" Mot said, somewhat oblivious to Yin's demeanor. Mot was just still so happy to be home again.

He followed the mantis to the gym, and summoned his shotgun soon after.

Yin was glad he had agreed. No fuss, no question of his motives. So long as he held himself together fairly well no one would think anything of it.

Good.

He liked Mot, he really did. But he had to show him that this was serious, that this meant business. If he did not have the cowboil fighting back at full strength than the spar meant nothing. Once he saw the weapon in the reaper's hands it was an open invitation and he lunged forward, hands doing something that might have looked slightly complicated but really just ended up as a punch.

Mot staggered back as he felt a punch from Yin. He swung the butt of his weapon to keep Yin's grasp at bay, then spun the barrel to face the mantis and fired a shot or two.

The attack startled him slightly, the boil using the wrong end of the weapon to gain himself a bit of distance and then the bullets punching into him. There was a small, grim smile snaking its way onto his face. He was too weak, but with teaching like this...Mot senpai was a good tutor.

It pushed him to be better, to try harder. A quick pivot and he was aiming a kick at the reaper's stomach.

A grunt followed the swift kick to the stomach, and certainly stalled the reaper from an immediate counter attack. He had to resist the urge to rub his stomach in protest, keeping his eye on the target.

The barrel was aimed at Yin's wings, and he fired a quick succession of shots to make sure flight wouldn't be an option.

Mot had no reason to know, but Yin took his wings a bit personally.

Well, a lot personally. As the Fear bullets ripped through him a quick flicker of rage passed over his face and he dove back into the fray. His hands shifting into spiked claws as he raked out with them at the reaper.

Mot hissed in great pain, the jagged edges tearing into his shield. He could feel as if skin could break from that one attack alone. It hurt a lot, stung. The pain ebbed only enough for Mot to regain his focus.

He took a few strides backward, aiming several shots at the mantis to keep him at bay.

Mot was trying to gain distance, and Yin knew that if he allowed it it would not end well for him. The cowboil had a good advantage from a distance, and Yin did not. He was going to need to rely on his agility for this one, to keep on top of the other boil's movements.

Their bodies were not perfectly in sync, and Yin found the reaper pulling away despite his efforts to keep their bodies together. He lunged forward, barely clipping the boil with a claw.

Oooh looked like his strategy was working!

Mot, however, caught Yin's wrist as he scraped him, yanked him down to the ground, and fired at shot at his back.

At the feel of being yanked to the ground Yin half expected to feel the cowboil straddle him, pinning him down and taking the advantage. The shot had him hissing, the reminder that Mot liked to keep things at a distance rather than being so hands on definitely not as enjoyable.

He twisted around, lashing out with a foot but unable to get up too quickly, feeling slightly drained.

Mot skipped backward a bit as he was kicked at, his next shot at Yin only grazing the flailing figure.

The bullet struck, but it was a glancing blow and Yin still managed to get on his feet.

He darted forward, claws reverting back to fists, lashing out with a swift punch before bringing his knee in, driving into the soft flesh of the reaper boil.

The spar took a turn for the worst. Mot moved to avoid the fist, only to be done in by a knee to the groin. A strangled yelp escaped Mot as he crumpled to the floor. He'd attempted to use Yin as a leaning post, but only managed to push him instead.

Yin had...not meant to hit quite that hard. He had been shoved, but he also felt bad for what he had done. He had the upper hand, but...well this was Mot he was fighting. "Sorry, I did not mean..."

There was really only one way to show him how truly sorry he was, he did not want the boil to have any...problems...that would be a shame. He put his hand over the boil, hovering above him, letting his own Fear work to fortify the shield there.
