Hey ladies, I just need some advice right now. I met my boyfriend online, and believe it or not it was here on Gaia through one of my random pm's. We've been together since June, he's in Louisiana and I'm in Pennsylvania. We really do love each other and we're both confident this is going to work out.

But the thing is, I'm always afraid of us slipping apart. I hate to really worry about this, my friends say to do something to take my mind off it. But what exactly?

Hey! I met my boyfriend here on Gaia, too. We met 3 years ago on here but just over the summer we had a chance to meet in person. My advice would be to not worry about slipping apart because if you both are truly into the relationship in the long run, things will work out. Worrying about it all the time could end up being harmful to your relationship to the point you are just paranoid all the time as to whether or not you guys will make it. Faith and trust in one another even though you are miles apart, plays an important role in a long distance relationship.

I also had this problem awhile back.
You need to have faith that this man will treat you well.
Do the best that you can do and trust him to do the best that he can do.
In this way, you will find peace.

but alas, it was unintentional. I wasn't supposed to leave London...

Anywho, here's some advice for you!
Distance doesn't ruin relationships; doubts do.

Trust is key in long-distance, as it is the key to everything else.
Thus, don't doubt. :3
It shall all turn out perfectly.
