Cue thirty pure seconds of the girliest gnome shrieking possible, much gnome clinging, and possibly a gnome fainting from absolute terror.

Without warning, the lights turned on, as Barry wondered what the other three were doing in his living room-slash-school office (during the day only).

"What are you guys watching?"

Todd looked back at Barry with a look of horror, knowing horror, the horror of someone who's eyes had been haunted, of one who had seen too much.
"It's a Human World clip that we found as a tape and put it into the machine to watch." His voice was full of regret as he said a single word. "Inuyasha."

Gender: Male.
Age: Inugami age slowly, and though Makoto maintains the mentality of a teenager around sixteen, he is around a few hundred years old in actuality.

Faction: Demon - Inugami.

"Inugami (犬神 lit. "dog god") is the name of a fictitious being from japanese mythology, which is similar to the Shikigami and who belongs to the range of the spirits, the Kami. Japanese folklore describes Inugami as zoomorphic or anthropomorphic, dog-like beings, often similar to werewolves. They are masters of black magic."

Natural Ability: Head Flight: Inugami have heads that can detach off their shoulders and fly around independent from the body.


Personality: Makoto may at first resemble an ever-smiling, sanguine, and mercurial lunatic. And, well.... he is. A very abstruse creature, Makoto is often times whimsical and easily bored. His attention darts from one thing to another so fast that it may leave one wondering if they ever even had a full conversation with the boy. Though appearing to be a childish, immature Inugami with little more going for him than his old blood and extreme wealth, Makoto is in fact extremely guileful. He has an impressive memory filled with volumes of information ranging from histories to romances to how to set a bone and how to break it just as quick. Unfortunately for everyone around him, that information is seemingly locked away in his head. When and if it ever comes out of his mouth, it comes out in such a roundabout way that the true facts are buried beneath layers of riddle-like statements that leave one wondering if Makoto is ever actually saying anything at all, or just babbling on about strange inconsistencies. The truth of the matter is that Makoto is mendacious, and always knows exactly what he is saying and how strange it must sound to other strangers. But if they're not intelligent enough to decipher it, why on earth would they deserve to have it laid out before them so plainly?

Beneath Makoto's odd exhibition of behavior, he is actually quite contemptuous. His displays of disinterest are masks to the contempt he seems to hold for people of lowly intelligence and those that spend too much time forgiving and not enough time seeking revenge. He also displays a growing dislike for people who bother him when he doesn't want to be bothered, and when it becomes obvious that they won't go away anytime soon, he goes to great lengths to make them through rather grandiose schemes. Prideful, privileged, and boasting a rather impressive level of intelligence, Makoto is much like a peacock that doesn't like having its feathers ruffled by anything or anyone. The most clumsily put together insult can garner a rush and need for vengeance from the Inugami, and though he is quite in control of his rage and smart enough not to display it physically, he will make sure that the offender pays in the end.

Particularly facetious, Makoto rarely takes things with a grain of severity and hardly ever inherits others problems as his own. The only exceptions are matters concerning friends, of which he has few to none. Predominately stationary, Makoto will complain in the event that he actually has to physically exert himself. He would much rather stay in one place. In one chair. On one couch. On one person. Whatever looks comfortable becomes his place of rest. If you find yourself with a certain Inugami suddenly resting on your lap, it is best not to ask why, as there will be no real answer. Makoto is deceptively good at wordplay (which is half the reason why he is able to confuse people with what seems like nonsensical conversations,) and when he manages to take any one person half-way seriously, he can actually give them a partially sane conversation. Of course, one might want to be wary of a partially sane conversation with Makoto, considering his tongue turns sharp and blunt as ice. To friends (of which there are few,) Makoto becomes an exigent creature, stealing time and space whenever he feels an interest in doing so. So really, friend or foe, Makoto is still a crazy creature. You just might be a bit safer on his good side. Might.

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Makoto's parents decided that though their son was extremely intelligent, he was also a tad bit crazy and needed some lessons in social situations where revenge was not the immediate answer. Thus, he was shipped off to Amityville to learn the rules of proper social engagement, how to talk like a normal FEAR being, and perhaps the art of being normal.

FEAR Ability: Heads Will Roll (Battle Cry) - Makoto focuses his FEAR into his hands, forming sharp claws to rip into the opponent with.


Physical Description:

Eye Colour: Gold. Red accents around eye would be perfect, but completely up to artist! (ex: stuff like this)
Hair Colour/Style: Dark red is preferred, or black. Style could possibly resemble something like this, but is ultimately up to artist!
Skin Colour: Tan, but not overly so.
Clothing Style/Colours: Traditional japanese clothing. Preferably with patterns like this and a more imperial/royal look and fur! I really want him to have a mask (like these! any style from the link works!) somewhere on his form (on his head or at his hip or in his hand.) The color palette should be rich, warm colors! Gold, reds, and blacks as main. Blues and mute greens as accents maybe?
Extra: Makoto has long, thick dog ears on the top of his head that should either be dark red or black in color. He also has a matching tail.

Makoto's natural form is a large dog. Reaching nearly six feet at his shoulder blade, the inugami has a sleek crimson coat, though he is color-pointed black. Unlike other races related to canines, Makoto's natural form does not appear unruly, but instead quite regal. Heavy boned and thickset, he has sharp, ink black claws and teeth.
