Yeah, people in the Exchange forum want nothing but a quick buck. Very rarely have I ever seen people buy something in there that they actually wanted to keep.
I'd suggest just stashing away your Zorya for awhile and resell it later, when there's not so many people all trying to sell theirs on the market all at the same time. You might have to cut your losses but it happens. I've never had that item, but just from the graphs it appears that no one has bought it for more than 150k for a few weeks, and it's only recently had a weird price spike.

There was a reason why he called you 'crazy' is because that is way above from the lbp or the abp.. No one would get above the lbp or abp for a item.. And the price he ask for it was definitely low, he could have said at least to the 100k - 125k
Also if you didn't like his price he gave you, you could have haggle the price a little higher and see if he would like the price..

Um no that was still no reason to call someone crazy. I don't see your POV at all. He was the one buying and he could have been civil and mature and asked me to lower the price. Why would I ask for a higher price if he looked at mine and just went to 70k? That makes no sense.

Well people do haggle with prices they don't like. You could have at least higher the price for a little more and see how low he gives you and if you still don't like the price, just said, "Okay. Thank you for offering through.." but you were trying to sell it for 200k which is too high for the lbp and/or the abp could have went to the 125k than 200k.
And I see why he wouldn't buy for 200k for a item even though he's rich..

I don't think he should have called you crazy, there wasn't a reason to be rude about it. There is such a thing as politely saying no thank you, or even just a plain old no is better than being insulted. Though to look at it from his POV, being asked to buy an item for 50k more than it goes for does kind of suck, no matter how much gold he has. I don't really like the excuse of "he's rich anyway so it doesn't matter". It does matter to him, so you can't really fault him with that. I mean, if someone asked you to buy something for 50k more than it's worth, wouldn't you think that's.. well for lack of a better word, crazy? Even if you didn't call the person crazy, you might think they were, or at least a little misguided about the item's pricing. Though obviously I don't believe he should have said that or that you deserved it, you certainly didn't, just trying to show his perspective, despite his rudeness. Though I don't want to sound like I'm lecturing you haha, I don't think he was entitled to be way he acted at all.
All that aside, his attitude wasn't warranted. While I think that yeah, he had a right to be a little confused about being asked to buy an item for more than it's generally worth, he had no business insulting you. Sometimes you'll come across people who resort to calling people names if they don't like something, that's just how it is in any forum. It just happens to be more apparent and frequent in the Exchange because people are dealing with their hard earned gold/items, but obviously no one needs to be unpleasant about it. I've seen some people throw around even heavier insults than "crazy" before, but anyone can do it, just not the "rich snobs" haha. It's kind of sad that that's happened though.
I'm sorry you took a loss on your item. It really stinks to not be able to get your money back for an item you bought. I've had it happen quite a few times. At least the person you sold it to was nice about it, you just happened to meet a bad apple of the Exchanger bunch. Are you trying to get an item at the moment and that's why you sold it?

No I wouldn't because they are just ASKING and not telling me to buy it. And okay fine he's rich so yeah he shouldn't just blindly take any old offer, but at the same time he need to go to the MP then and spend his gold rather than asking for offer on items. I'm new to that particular forum so I don't get why users have millions and millions of gold and just ask people to sell items to them that they most likely don't even want or are questions anyways.
I just don't get why he would complain about the offer being 50k over the MP price and then ask for 70k on it. That would make my offer not 50k over but 80k over. So both of your maths are off. He could have just knocked 50k off my offer rather than 80k.
I'm trying to get the Mint Sundae item which is two million so I'm selling things I don't use much or want anymore.

He buys things for cheap and then sells them for more in the MP, it's how many people make their gold. Without the users who give generous discounts in the exchange, others would really have no way to make gold other than playing Booty Grab all day lol. Some people look down on the practice, but I honestly don't mind it as long as both parties fully agree on the price and know what they're doing (I dislike the buying misspriced items practice, getting deals is far better in my eyes than profiting off of someone's mistake). So that explains why people buy items they don't actually want.

That's why I usually stay away from the exchange when I'm selling. I know people will offer real low looking for good deals and if I really want the most out of my item, I just wait for it to sell in the MP. I know it's difficult, I can admit I'm very impatient, I want things to sell quickly so I can get the items I want, but sometimes it's just the better trade off. That way you don't have to risk dealing with rude people.

I can't believe people think that works, especially now that if the item is higher than the average or low or store price, there is a red sign that let the buyer know before the put in their password. But if people want to spend more gold on a item than they really have to, well that's on them.
I made my offer based on the MP price and when I had listed it I did not get a red warning about the item being too high so I didn't think it was too high. When I looked on the item MP list, my offer was right in the middle.
I guess I got too impatient because I'm use to getting messages after I post a listing about an item being sold.....though it's mostly those daily chance items anyways. I just really wanted my gold amount to go up quick and wanted someone to buy that item since it was the most expensive on my listing list. But I sold it for a 100k, wish it could have been more but oh well.

Objectively speaking, people go for the cheapest buy. So: if your item was in the middle, people aren't going to buy it. They'll be looking to buy the cheapest version. Similarly: if you offer someone an item in the Exchange forum, they'll be offering you a price based on the lowest market value, and then minus a little bit of money so that they can make a profit. And to answer your earlier question: they have millions of gold and still buy items because that's how they made the gold. In essence, they're selling you their patience. They offer less on the item because they're willing to wait longer for it to sell. In other words: If you want your item gone, and fast, you have to pay for that speed by dropping the price. In reality, and in my personal experience: what he did wan't even rude. Where I live (ShangHai), that's called bartering. There aren't set prices in the market, so you have to offer a price. You automatically offer a very low price first, because the seller's going to be offering a very high price. Then you argue until you find middle ground. You wanted 200, he wanted 70, so if you'd been willing to barter, you may have gotten his offer up to 120.
