The cold is definitely welcomed. I live in South Texas, so it gets pretty hot too. xD I don't think I can imagine the heat in South Africa though. Is it usually a dry heat? o.o

I was born in South Africa and so were my parents. There really is a good ratio of 'black' and 'white' people and although our government and most older South Africans are racists, us younger people aren't. emotion_awesome

I've never been too good with geography, but it doesn't snow in Texas, right? 'Cause it only snows in some areas of South Africa, unfortunately, not by me.
In terms of temperature, it doesn't get too high, but the humidity is horrid!

Not in the South, no. I mean, it's snowed like.. twice in my lifetime, but that's not enough for me to really say "it snows here" haha. It stinks, because I really want my son to play in snow one day. ; w; I didn't get snow until I was in my teens, and I can imagine it's just not as "fun" in some aspects at that age. I mean it's still exciting obviously, but things just aren't the same when you get older. xD
