I honestly think anything below 11 or 12 is pushing it. They have the age requirement on this site for a reason. If you have to lie to do something, then maybe you shouldn't be doing it. There are things young kids just don't need to see/read on here. 7 is kind of appalling really. If she can make it onto a site like this then I would highly doubt her parents have any idea what she's doing on the internet, or they just don't care what she does, which are both very scary situations. I hope to god she isn't foolish enough to just let anyone know about her personal info or the like. I know Gaia isn't a horrible place, it's actually really fun and exciting, but for kids it's just too much in my opinion, and there are terrible people anywhere on the net who are willing to take advantage of a child like her. Like I said before, I just hope she doesn't give out any kind of personal information. If she can tread along on this site without giving away who she is/where she is, then maybe she'll be okay, but she's really young and more than likely naive, I just worry for kids who think they can do whatever and there are no consequences to "breaking the rules" like this.

Hearing that, I highly doubt she's being supervised or she is by people who don't care for her safety. All it takes is leaving her alone for one moment for something to go wrong and there would be no one to blame but the people who let her on there in the first place and don't watch her properly. If someone -was- watching her, seeing that all the people in the room were in their 20s and over, and STILL let her be in there and not doing anything about it is very, very sad. A 20 year old shouldn't have anything to do with a 7 year old unless they're family, and vice versa. She really has no business on this site. I can't believe she even thinks it's for kids, I wonder if she got that idea on her own or something made her believe that. Though if she openly states she's 7 she probably doesn't even know the rules since that can get her banned alone. There is just all kinds of wrong in this situation.

You're right about that, it's not right for her to be here. There are waaay to many things she can see/read here that will be too much for a 7 year old. She really shouldn't be exposed to it. Since she openly states she's 7 as well, anyone can go talk to her with some ulterior motive, since she's young, impressionable, naive and probably willing to please anyone who is nice to her. Kids like doing "good deeds" for people to get their praise, who knows who would be sick enough to take advantage of that. I know she's probably doing no harm, and it would suck to take her account away from her when she finds it fun here, but it's really scary to think of a 7 year old being on here. At least at 11 or 12, kids have a little more sense, more exposure, and have probably been talked to about the dangers of the net. Most 7 year olds I know don't even know anything past simple kid games on the net, let alone places like this. I honestly wonder how she found it.
