But is there any way to know if you are a virgin? Its a weird question, but let me explain further. What if, you are not (and never have been) sexually active yet you have a period of time you cant remember back to, where it was possible you were forced against your will? I know people talk about 'the cherry' all the time... but is there any way you can know? I need to some answer

If the hymen isn't intact it can be a sign. Though not all women are born with a hymen.

♥ You are classified as a virgin if you have never had sexual intercourse. If what you are asking has something to do with whether or not the hymen being intact, it doesn't. The hymen can easily be broken through other ways (like sports for example) that has nothing to do with being sexually active. I lost my hymen from playing sport, either that or I never had one to begin with, however it doesn't make any difference to virginity. I hope this helps you in someway. <3

Now im scared because im taking horse riding classes soon... It's nothing to be scared of, I don't think it hurts if you lose it while horse riding. I think it's more the faster riders. :3

♥ There's nothing to be scared of. It doesn't hurt. I broke mine during horse riding (or cycling) and I didn't even realise until I started to sleep with my partner.

broken_bleeding_angel Spanish Rice Cat broken_bleeding_angel If the hymen isn't intact it can be a sign. Though not all women are born with a hymen. Is the hymen the 'cherry' thing? (Sorry, I really dont know any of the terms) It's a term used for losing one's virginity through sexual intercourse. The hymen is a thin membrane that surrounds and sometimes partially covers your v****a. Some people break it through horse riding, cycling, using a tampon or vaginal sex, some people can have vaginal sex and still have an intact hymen. Basically, whether or not your hymen is intact gives you little to no indication of whether you have had vaginal sex.
I would suggest, if you need to know because you might be pregnant or have contracted a sexually transmitted disease, I would go and get checked out just to be on the safe side. There are free clinics you can go to so you don't need to tell anyone if you don't want to. If you are asking so that you can decide whether to call yourself a virgin or not, the choice is entirely personal. I have friends who didn't 'count' their first time because it was forced or because it just didn't feel 'right' to them, and where to draw the line between someone who is a virgin or not is entirely subjective, and you shouldn't let how your body looks change the way you see yourself. Personally, I would say that if you have no memory of ever having sex, you can definitely call yourself a virgin.
