Rainbow scales! CC how you do it, just make 'em bright and colorful. Body base is black/dark gray. No leg-scales (just back scales).

Tail: Edited Kirin tail - curly/swoopy hair only at the end. Hair bit to match the mane, rest of the fur in the body's black/darkgray.
Hooves/Fetlocks: White/light gray hooves, fetlocks to match the rest of the body

Reference Image(s): Nah. If you feel like adding simple markings around his legs or ears or something, go for it. Little tiger stripes, or spots, or something tribal/celtic would be cool, but I also like him sort of plain. If you have an inspiration, go ahead. Just not cluttery markings, only a few sparse ones please, if any. His rainbows I would prefer in
pastel type colors, not bright or neon. It doesn't have to be colors exactly from the image, just in the area of that general hue.

Don't feel any need to edit the foal at
all, I'd love to see foal-Grim with just that Kalona snarl instead of fangs. Additionally, if you want to CC tweak him in some small way to better match aesthetically with his future lifemate, that is also okay with me. Grim is to be the one true love of Kyrieko's
Alarion.
