 Graphics blatantly ripped off inspired by the What Is Your Wish? event!
Hello everyone, I'm Nir and this is my plot thread! Currently, I've got Matteo, Liselotte, and Sinclair, all newbie students
who really need some friends/enemies/interactions in general! Click the sidebar images for their (horribly U/C) journals.
You can also find links to their critter accounts if you'd like to RP there!

Matteo Grimaldi, the Puppeteer
Matteo is a freshly enrolled first year in Amityville Academy. He's a Puppeteer Reaper, which means he's good at animating and controlling objects, particularly his marionette, Peppino. He's open for just about anything! You can follow his critter at GrimMaestro.
About:
At first glance, Matteo is quiet, evasive, and socially awkward. Incredibly awkward. He says little, and when he does speak, it's short and to the point -- otherwise it's full of "um"s and pauses if he goes on too long. He tends to lurk in the shadows and observe before he acts. But his shy demeanor hides an impish trickster: Matteo is curious, playful, mischievous, and cunning. He uses Peppino as his rather obnoxious mouthpiece, and the marionette also acts as his partner in crime. They like to pull juvenile pranks to say hello.
Peppino is not actually alive, but Matteo doesn't want you to know that. He passes Peppino off as his familiar, using his magic to animate him and his skill with ventriloquism to give him a voice, but his real Fear-summoned weapon is the control rod on his back. His natural ability allows him to manipulate his own shadow into different shapes.
Quick Notes:
✖ Matteo speaks in cerulean and thinks in gray. Peppino speaks in orange.
✖ He loves working with his hands. In addition to making puppets, he tinkers with low level machinery, and he also enjoys papercrafts, puzzles, sewing, and the violin. AND VIDEO GAMES. YES.
✖ He's scarily good at impressions. This is a favorite prank.
✖ Matteo grew up as a circus performer. One of his daddies was the ringleader for a haunted fairground called the Nightmare Circus.

Plot Ideas:
✖ VICTIMS - If you need your student to be pranked or trolled, MATTEO IS YOUR GUY.
✖ Pranking Buddies - Alternatively, if your student wants to prank some other students, he would be happy to help!
✖ The smell of decay in the morning - In the Nightmare Circus, Matteo grew up with plenty of ghosts and undead. He's curious about meeting more of them here in Amityville.
✖ Tour Guides - Some students to help him get acquainted with Amityville! They can be older students or fellow newbies to get lost with~
✖ Button Smashing - He likes games, and he's part of the Scario Kart club! I'd be interested in getting him some challengers! Which may or may not lead to physical altercations
✖ Give him back! - Later on, I'd like for someone to either damage or somehow steal Peppino to challenge Matteo's dependency on him.

Liselotte Croustade, the Conjurer
Liselotte is also a newly-enrolled first year in Amityville Academy. She's a magical girl Conjurer Reaper, which means she specializes in energy-based attack spells with the help of her familiar, Nanabey. She's open for just about anything! You can follow her critter at BustyBrioche.
About:
Always bouncing from one place to another, Liselotte is energetic, outgoing, impulsive and passionate. She throws herself headfirst into everything she does, often without thinking of the consequences or how she might affect the people around her. She also may not be aware punctuation exists. While her seemingly endless supply of vitality can be exhausting, Liselotte is tempered by a strong sense of honesty and responsibility -- and her familiar, Nanabey. Nanabey is soft-spoken, affectionate, and calm... sometimes too calm, almost detached. However, she and Liselotte share a close bond.
Liselotte's magic is not element-specific; instead, it draws on her Fear to create bursts of concentrated energy. Nanabey helps her channel (or rather incubate) that energy. Liselotte's natural ability allows her to invoke spirits for a limited time, but only if she knows the spirit's full name.
Quick Notes:
◆ Liselotte speaks in orange and thinks in brown. Nanabey speaks in red and thinks in pink.
◆ Nanabey's mouth doesn't move when she speaks. Instead, she communicates through telepathy.
◆ Before becoming a familiar, Nanabey was classified as a djinn.
◆ Liselotte prefers physical activities, like sports, exercise, or just about anything that involves being outdoors.
◆ She has a special love for song and dance, and she's not half-bad at baking, having grown up in a bakery.
◆ Liselotte's sister Alicia disappeared a few years before she enrolled into Amityville Academy. Finding any clues towards her whereabouts is her top priority right now.

Currently single and not actively looking!

Liselotte participated in the Legacy event as Solliette. She chose to remember everything.

◆ Puella Magi - I WANT ALL THE MAGICAL GIRL RPS. ALL OF THEM.
◆ COME AT ME BRO - Out of all my characters, Liselotte is the most likely to enjoy a good spar. Which isn't to say she's especially skilled with battling yet, but it will be a learning experience either way!

Sinclair Merchenwald, the Pride Demon
Sinclair is another newbie-scented first year in Amityville Academy. He's a Pride Demon from an old, obscure, but still ridiculously rich family, so he's made sure to roll out a literal red carpet upon his entrance into the school. He's open for just about anything! About:
If you ask Sinclair what he thinks he is, he will go on at length about how he's so magnificent, courageous, graceful, and all-around wonderful... but, in truth, Sinclair tends to come off more like an arrogant fool. Self-confident to the point of vanity, Sinclair believes he's entitled to the adoration of everyone -- although it's more that he desperately wants to be popular, and he'll do anything he can to achieve that. He'll completely ignore your boundaries and get in your face because he's convinced you will be his best friend. And maybe he's not such a bad friend to have. He's incredibly loyal to anyone he considers such, and he'll bend over backwards to keep them happy.
Sinclair's abilities are centered around his eyes: maintaining eye contact with him for too long can temporarily freeze the onlooker, and his Fear attack absorbs light into his eyes. This is despite the fact that he's blind as a bat without his glasses...
Quick Notes:
► Sinclair speaks in green and thinks in blue.
► He has studied several miscellaneous skills in different fields, taking special interest in the "fine arts". Unfortunately, his knowledge is general at best, and he's not especially good at any of these things, however much he wants people to think otherwise. At least he always has a conversation-starter on hand.
► If there's anything Sinclair has some proficiency with, it's theater. and gaudy fashion
► He's a collector of rare minipets, especially peacock-themed ones.
► Has an ongoing rivalry with his twin brother. He currently attends another school, and Sinclair holds his acceptance into Amityville as a victory over him.
Relationship Status:
Single, but I'll be doing some backlogging to cover his attempted relationship with Zephyros!
Recent Developments:
Sinclair participated in the Legacy event as Clairins. As of the end of the meta, he's forgotten Zephyros.

Plot Ideas:
► My loyal admirers! - IF YOU EXIST SINCLAIR WANTS TO BE YOUR FRIEND.
► ALL THE CLUBS - Well, maybe not all of them, but Sinclair wants to be a part of something. He feels joining a club (or two, or three) will help him get more involved with students and Amityville in general.
► You look familiar... - POST SEVEN KINGS INTERACTIONS. Sinclair was involved in the Seven Kings event as a member of the Silver Kingdom, and later fought alongside the White Kingdom.

Lacie + Matteo? I'd imagine they can be lost together! (Even though she's not a newbie, she does tend to get lost easily 8D;; ) Perhaps she can meet him by walking accidentily into his prank as well : D~

Hiiiii<33 I'm on a quest to get Terra more friends in 1st year! She's the one I played in red kingdom (art's in my sig)--she's happy, accepting and likes to cook and dance--and she's gullible. So Matteo could totally convince her that his puppet was alive. *just picturing her having a long detailed conversation with the puppet and having no clue that Matteo is doing it*

Hey Musica! o uo Verusha looks pretty awesome! Any ideas as to where/how/when they should meet? ... would she be horribly adverse to pranking? WHOA DRAGON NOISE REAPER. YES. If Vaith keeps to the sidelines, I think Peppino and Note could break the awkwardness for them! 8D THAT SOUNDS LIKE AN ADVENTURE LET'S DO IT. Aaaah Terra~!! Yes, that sounds perfect! * u* <3 Anyone who believes Peppino is real gets points in Matteo's book.
