Intro: “What wonderful, beautiful monsters you are~”
We weren’t supposed to end up this way. The whole point of the experiments after all was to reduce our powers, to make it easier to control them when we got them at puberty. It’s done the exact opposite for some of us. Necromancers who can raise the dead without rituals or materials, witches who can replicate spells just by seeing them, demi-demons who’s powers run out of control when angry. For those of us who are the failures, we are being hunted when we can’t control our powers thanks to what they’ve done to us, and our getting away is the difference between life and death.

Plot: Did you think supernaturals weren’t real? They are living among society, pretending to be like everyone else. This becomes hard though, once their youngsters reach puberty and their powers take over. It is sudden and causes great strife, and makes it hard for them to hide themselves. That’s why the Galaxy Project began. Concerned supernatural parents allowed the group behind the Galaxy Project to experiment on their children, even when they were as young as in the womb. The whole point was that the children could be raised normally (usually without knowledge of their supernatural roots), and then when they hit puberty, slowly be eased into their power until they had full control over it. As time passed though, the group lost tract of the students as parents left the group because of various disagreements.
A chance was given to find the subjects though, when some of the children’s powers came into being so powerfully, they were often taken into custody. The group intervened by creating a group home called Sousa House, which would shelter the children and convince them they had mental diseases rather than powers. Those that responded well to the therapy would be returned home and those that didn’t…well, that’s classified.

Supernatural types & powers:
Werewolves: Naturally big in build, very strong normally and have very strong hearing, smell, ect. They can’t turn into wolves whenever they want when they are young. Rather they are forced to endure each change whenever it comes. They are able to understand the signs of change coming soon, which involve a fever and itching. The first few times many young werewolves will not change completely, but rather go through the long and painful process of bones changing and fur growing but never actually turning into a wolf. Vomiting usually occurs during the first few changes.
Witches: Witches are considered a different species than Wizards. Their magic is more defensive and uses a different language for their spells than wizards. Rumors are that witches aren’t as powerful as wizards but that’s just a rumor. If a wizard and a witch have a child together, the child will be so filled with power that they usually destroy themselves and others by accident.

Demi-Demons: There are multiple types of Demi-Demons and multiple levels of those demons. One level is Fire Demi-Demons. The lowest level can just create heat with their hands and the highest can create flames from nothing. They are all attracted to flames whenever available and most cannot be burned themselves. Another kind would be telekinesis demons, those who can move items with their minds. The lowest can only move simple items while the highest can move buildings themselves.
Shaman: These are those who are healers and can travel outside of their body as sort of a ghostly being.
Necromancer: Are able to see and to communicate with ghosts. The only way to tell a person from a ghost is 1. Ghosts don’t make noises 2. Ghosts sometimes will wear clothing of a certain time period or hair style 3. Ghosts cannot touch living objects, except for the in case of Demi-Demon Telekinesis ghosts. Necromancers can summon ghost with a personal artifact, or sometimes by simply thinking of the person. Necromancers can also raise the dead, sending the body’s spirit back into its corpse. All of this usually involves rituals and materials, although a ghost can tell a necromancer apart from a human by their glows.

Notes:
I will assign different mental disorders to those accepted. I only want about one or two of each species and then I’ll stop accepting profiles. Don’t forget that you can be either a successful experiment or an unsuccessful experiment, meaning that your powers can either be weak or impossibly strong. I don’t want too many super monsters though. Also, everyone else besides for my character will have been living at the house already. My character will be the only one who is newly arriving, although you certainly only have been at the house for a few days before my character arrives there. The reason for this is that my character will act as a catalyst and move the plot forward, and it would be weird to have five different people arriving at once.

Characters: Username: love2daydream Name: Kathryn (Kat) Rein Gender: Female Age: 17 Supernatural Type: Witch Picture/Description:  Bio: Born and raised as the youngest of six, Kat has gotten used to being in the background. She enjoys cooking and writing as well as watching it rain. She has a bit of a temper though, which is usually caused by her pet peeves lying and disrespect. She hates gossips and cannot stand those who are snotty. Kat recently has been hospitalized after a fight with a girl, of whom the girl suffered from amnesia from head trauma as well as some shock trauma as if the girl had been shocked by electricity. Kat is being sent to Sousa House because of what she told the police after being collected by them, saying that she hadn’t touched the girl at all but rather had gotten so angry that sparks seemed to have flown from her hands. She had been to upset at the time to realize that this was probably the wrong thing to say, and was placed in the hospital because of the ‘crazy’ things she said. Username: N K Cake

Bio: He likes cats. A bunch. He doesn't really like people. In fact, he kinda hates things with skeletons. Except Leroy. Len was born in the countryside to a family of dairy workers. They had a cat but no other animals, and a small lot of land in foresty lands. His parents would travel and out for much of the day at work on nearby dairy cow farms. He doesn't know how to explain what they did, so don't ask. He went to school a bit of a way away, by bus, and studied eagerly. Life was good!
Then, Leroy, his precious cat died. He was hit by the schoolbus one morning when the vehicle drove past the house to its designated stop. What lies they had told him of the safety of the bus, or the good of school, he saw through now. There was a rather short burial and that was that. It was a tense week for his parents, where one of them stayed home to watch a very rebellious and moody child, till he vanished one morning. It was evening and late in the day he came back home, smiling wide and bright. A bit muddy, though, too. Most importantly, he came back home with Leroy. Or, what had become of Leroy. Sure enough his parents were creeped out, though glad the boy was home. His school friends and teachers were also pretty creeped out when the boy insisted on bringing the cat along, when his parents forced him to go to school the next morn'.
It was settled with a paycheck and a visit from some 'government' types. Lenard, nicknamed Sprout by his friends in the past, was taken from his parents. But, even away from those liars, and that meanie school that hurt Leroy, he was still with his cat, and that was what mattered. Even if these new adults were totally boring and stuffy and mean. Not to mention the pain of the experiments..
Now living at Sousa House, Len is a particularly angry and sour one. To questions about why he might be angry or mean, is often simply that he does not like things with bones. Who he does like is his cat, with him all the time... Or so he says. The ghost of the feline is rarely seen. He distances himself from people, though often does what he's told such as the house chores, and little else. He enjoyed RPGs, trading cards, weird shows and all that good stuff. He was even into Live Action Role Playing for a while. He studied hard, got good grades, but his parents never seemed to approve of his hobbies. He brushed it off as regular parental lack of understanding and continued on with his life, at least until the LARP session that went horribly wrong. Eventually, it became a mistake Ren would deeply regret for the rest of his short life, and he constantly reminds himself of it everyday. Love. It is such a superficial feeling until one actually feels it and when one feels it, love ends up being the best feeling in the world. Initially, Ren’s love was not love at all, but hate. Yes, a kindled hatred for his well-to-do neighbor, the daughter of a lovely family who treasured their wealth and reputation. Ren fell in love with a girl named Eureka, who, coincidently, did not love him at first sight either. He was just a plain boy down the street, coming from a normal family. After a certain misunderstanding, however, the two stumbled into a surprising love. It was one that would not last conventionally. During this time, Ren’s transformations into the beast were worsening. They were painful and sickening transformations, yet he did well to never show it. However, it was clear that he was losing it. He didn't know how or why he was turning into such a beast. His mother failed to explain that she had underwent experiments while pregnant with him, which costly made her lose her life when she had given birth to him. His father ignored the transformations, leaving the Galaxy Project rather horrified of the experiments Ren underwent as a child, and left as long as Ren did not harm anyone. But Ren’s supernatural roots could not simply be ignored for his transformations were terribly painful and uncontrollable. And then the reports of a few local girls turning up dead began. Ren’s “condition” was brought to light, and he was turned in to the police, who deducted that Ren was guilty, but not pressed with charges because of his uncontrollable transformations. Whether he did it or not is ambiguous, for he is morally good but does not rightly deny he didn’t do it. He was dumped into the Sousa house because his hometown does not want him back. Username: Creamsicle Bunnies Name: Eureka Cecilia Lenore Gender: Female Age: Eighteen Supernatural Type: Demi Demon Picture/Description:  Bio: Amongst her family and friends, Eureka was a dark beauty fashioned by her own brilliance. She was quite bold in her childhood, and made an initiative to acquaint herself well in a little of everything. She was bright, despite being somewhat spoiled and overly mature. It made her likeable by those around her and that was all that mattered to Eureka. Then she met Ren, her neighbor from down the street. He wasn't rich or mannerly, and his persistence was annoying to her at first. She hated him before she fell in love with him, which was out of a misunderstanding. And their love was mad, like any angst teenaged love. The reports of the dead girls did not help. Eureka worried for Ren, who had been acting strangely recently. However, it was clear, with some detective work, Ren was to blame. He was charged with the murder of three girls, yet would not be tried because of what he was. A werewolf, a werewolf! Eureka was shocked, unbelievably heartbroken and suddenly lonely. Her family could not tame her depression soon afterwards. Eventually, Eureka had become unstably suicidal. No matter how much money her family afforded her to go to therapy, it did not help her feelings of shock and depression. Ultimately, Eureka could not handle her turbulent emotions and jumped off her four story school building in an attempt to kill herself. Yet before she could even touch the floor, she was stopped. Yes, unbelievably she abruptly stopped a foot above the floor by, well, by as it appeared nothing. She floated in mid air for a second before falling onto the floor. Witnesses say that it was the most scary yet spectacular sights they had seen, yet were deeply concerned for Eureka in the aftermath. She claimed to have felt a dense air around her, as if emitting from her body before she fell. Bitterly, she was taken in and turned into the Sousa house. They did not explain why, but Eureka knew well that it was her own doing. She was the cause of whatever happened that day, yet no one told her how or why it happened. Only that it was a miracle. To her, it was not a miracle, no, not at all. She is restless in the household, and only the reuniting of Ren and her has made her feel any sense of belonging that she desperately needed. Both her parents were native americans, or so she was told. Due to the trouble of the neighborhood she was in, Ari soon found herself running with a gang. She refused to do more than steal, as seeing anyone get hurt made her sick. Her mother turned a blind eye. Ari's mother never paid her much attention, always treating her with a faint disregard and almost wanting her to leave. She had no contact with the rest of her family. When she hit puberty, during school one day she got up and stormed off during a particularly violent debate. She was surprised when no one came after her. She wandered around all day, observing everything and never being noticed or acknowledged. She later learned that it was because she had left her body, and everyone thought she was in a coma for the day. A week later a boy jumped out of the second story window. She found him first, and touched him. It felt like he sucked the life from her, and his wounds were healed. After that, and being accused of using native magic on him, she was sent to Sousa House at age 14, where her father came to her, minus his body, and explained everything her mother had done. He was a shaman himself, and he explained as much as he could. But then something happened, and she hasn't seen him since. Soon, one of them accused him of witchcraft and refused to pay. His father was furious and sent him away. He lived with his Aunt and Uncle until he was 15. They saw him heal himself and were frightened. So they called a psychologist who sent him to this group home. Individual's that thru a cruel fate or divine punishment a higher power has decided to bestow these "gifts" upon. He has since moved on and for the most part accepted his life as it is now learning to control what he can do so that something like that never happens again. Tho the memories of it remain and still haunt his dreams. She lived rather normally, attended school, got involved in clubs, basically what normal teenagers her age did. However, as time went on, Sienna noticed a certain edge in her parents that she hadn't noticed before. They appeared rather worried the older she grew. Making nothing of it, the female continued to move on with her life, until around sometime when she was about sixteen. The female turned into a horrible beast while staying after school one day, going through unimaginable bouts of pain. She attacked her teacher and a few students, but thankfully everyone lived. After a small trial for the same of the general public, Sienna was sent to the Sousa House, though many believe that she is in a Juvenal detention center. Username: ReaperInBlack Name: Fira Arlen Gender: Female Age: Eighteen Supernatural Type: Witch Picture/Description:  Bio: Firah lived a life that reached beyond the edge of normal. She was born into a family of wealth and went to the most prestigious schools, of course she never wanted any of that. All she desired was to really live a normal life. Around the time Firah was hitting puberty, she had noticed things about herself that were rather strange to say the least. Little incidents that could almost go dismissed. However, as time went on, those incidents got worse and worse. And then she drowned her best friend. She didn't mean to do such a thing. She would never intend to harm a soul. It was a simple spat over something so small, Firah could hardly remember what it was they were fighting over. They were standing in her friend's room at the time. The moment Firah raised her voice, glass shattered toward her friend and her friend alone. One glass shard hit her in the jugular, ultimately killing her. It was that day that she was taken away, diagnosed with some mental disorder, and placed in the Sousa House.

9:00-10:00 Quiet Time/Preparing for bed

*Relaxation time includes activities such as reading, interacting with fellow occupants, playing sports outside, watching TV, computer time, ect. Remember that you must ask a nurse permission to go outside so that the alarm can be turned off. Privileges like computers and such can be revoked because of bad behavior. No one is allowed to relax in their rooms until quiet time at 9:00
**There will be a chores list up every day and the chores must be completed by dinner. If not some privileges will be revoked.
