Trials of the 20 Mountains
Introduction

This is the trials of the mortals to become the greatest survivor of them all. In this series, we are going through a long path over the 20 mountains. But wait, you don't expect it to just be a normal long walk right? Of course it isn't. The mountains are full of creatures of the unknown, otherwise known as IMMORTALS. The creatures here are not just your average vampires but it goes through orcs and dragons as well.

Your character will be playing as fighters, whether you use Martial Arts or is a Military General, you cannot have any magical abilities. Just pure physical strength and a couple of bullets and some ration. All of you must start from the beginning, and of course, it's located at the base of the first mountain.

I, on the other hand, will serve as the voice in the sky. I will tell you riddles about the immortal that inhabits the area the group is in. I will also serve as the multiple immortal in each of the mountains.

Take note that you must play it real. No being able to dodge all of the time.

The Players
Your Characters


[ Knight ] [ 2 slot(s) ] - Knights are soldiers of the old times. They wear steel armors and uses swords, maces, and giant hammers to fight. Because of this, they are very powerful offensively and defensively. They are of no use to long range combats, unless they are willing to give up their weapons and throw them at the enemies. They tend to move very slow but has a whole lot of stamina.

[ Archers ] [ 2 slot(s) ] - Archers are the masters of bows and arrows and crossbows. They don't wear much armor, which lessens them defensively, but can pin point a nerve to disable the enemy from moving. They are very fast but they can't shoot very well while moving. They use effect vials, a small glass which they carry in their belts. These vials are coated with poison, paralysis liquid, and tranquilizing liquid. (The effects of the equipment will be in another post.)

[ Ranger ] [ 1 slot(s) ] - Rangers are very smart and can create a map after they see the path. Rangers uses leather armors to prevent weather damages. They have average defense and speed. They use a rope, to handle obstacles, whip, their primary defense, and throwing knives, for long range.

[ Medic ] [ 1 slot(s) ] - Medics don't have any offensive attacks, nor do they have any defensive capabilities. They just heal their comrades whenever needed. Medic's equipment consists of his bag, which is where he will put his healing equipment on, and a flashlight. (The equipment will be in another post.)

[ Miners ] [ 2 slot(s) ] - Miners are well-built. They have keen sense of directions and are experienced to handle breaking hard objects. Their primary weapon is the pickax. A normal ax that has pointy double-edges. The downside of this weapon is that the pickax will slowly be dull. They also have flashlights to light the way. Their defense is the working hats. It only defends their head though, but can be removed and block attacks manually.

[ Spartan ] [ 2 slot(s) ] - Spartan are basically faster and less defensive knights, due to their lack of armor. They are expert at creating defensive yet offensive battle formations. Their primary weapon of offense is the lance, and defense is the shield.

[ Martial Artists] [ 1 slot(s) ] - Master of all forms of martial arts. From karate to taekwondo to kung-fu, none is irrelevant to the Martial Artist. They are extremely fast and good at dodging. They have high stamina and isn't easily defeated. They can stop things at the speed of a bullet due to hard training. They use all kind of weapon, and match their fighting style to the weapon they choose. They can pinpoint human weakness points due to their study of body structure.

[ Mafia Member ] [ 3 slot(s) ] - These are the masters of unruly beating. They are easily defeated, but can easily defeat enemies. They use small kinds of guns as a primary weapon, and uses samurai swords for short range fights. They are a lone group and doesn't like to get help from others.

[ 5 Star General ] [ 1 Slot(s) ] - An experienced fighter. They are strongly-built and has excellent power. They are extremely intelligent . They use all kinds of guns and can even use knives effectively. They make bombs out of nature. They are the most reliable in and out of the battle, and is the team leader of the group.

The Inventory
Effects of your Items


[ Knight ]

Choose only 2 weapons unless you choose a hammer.


[ Sword ] - Default weapon of the Knights.
[ Mace ] - Is like a metal and spiky ball attached to a round metal stick by a series of chain. Can be carried (except if you choose a hammer) but reduces speed.
[ Giant Hammer ] - If you choose this weapon from the weapon stash, you cannot carry any other weapon but this.
[ Shield ] - Default defensive weapon of the Knights. Can also be used to hit enemies.

[ Archer ]

Choose only 1 of the 2. You have 30 arrows as a default. Choose only 15 vials, and spread it according to your will. (It can be 5 poison vial, 10 tranquilizing vial or 5 each etc.)


[ Bow ] - A default weapon for every archers.
[ Crossbow ] - A heavier bow. Which makes an archer slower.

[ Poison Vial ] - Spread this to the tip of your arrow to instantly poison the immortal if it's a hit, except those that are immune to poison. 1 vial per arrow only.
[ Paralysis Liquid ] - Spread this to the tip of your arrow to instantly paralyze the immortal if it's a hit for a good 3 posts, but doesn't work on immortals that are immune to paralysis. 1 vial per arrow only.
[ Tranquilizing Liquid ] - Spread this to the tip of your arrow to instantly make the immortal sleep if it's a hit for a good 2 posts.

[ Rangers ]

1 of each item only.


[ Whip ] - Default weapon for rangers.
[ Pen and Paper ] - Used for making maps. Only 1 pen and can draw the path for 5 mountains only.
[ Throwing Knives ] - Small knives for throwing. 10 throwing knives only.

[ Medic ]

Can carry 2 bags.


[ Medical Bag ] - Consists of 10 healing liquids, rub at the cut part to instantly heal. 10 bandages, used to heal little scratches, that is the cause of blood loss. 10 healing pills, used to heal status problem. 10 bottled water, used for re-hydration. Scalpel, a medical knife used to open wounds to remove stuff like spikes, and is used with healing liquids.
[ Flashlight ] - An equipment that lights the way and is usable in only 2 mountains.

[ Miner ]

Carries 2 pickax.


[ Pickax ] - An ax that has pointy edges for blades. is also double edged. Will slowly get dull. Can be broken if dull enough.
[ Flashlight ] - An equipment that lights the way and is usable for only 2 mountains.
[ Hard Hat ] - A yellow hat that is used by construction workers.

[ Spartans ]

1 Lance and 1 Shield only.


[ Lance ] - Default offensive weapon of Spartans.
[ Shield ] - Default defensive weapon of Spartans.

[ Martial Artist ]

3 weapons only. All wepaons can be broken by an immortal or by a group member.


[ Stick ] - An 8 feet long stick.
[ Nun-Chuck ] - Default weapon for Martial Artists.
[ Baton ] - A thicker stick than the average stick. Is only 3 feet long.
[ Wind and Fire Wheels ] - Is a deadly weapon at the hands of a master.
[ Tiger Head Hook Swords ] - A sword with bent top. Is a deadly weapon at the hands of a master.
[ Fly Claw ] - A metal claw attached to a rope. The rope can be broken and the claw is very sharp. Is a deadly weapon at the hands of a master.
[ Sweeper Staff ] - A 6 feet staff with a 3 feet smaller staff attached to one end. Used for tripping enemies. Is a deadly weapon at the hands of a master.

[ Mafia Member ]

1 of each guns.


[ .32 Revolver ] - Default gun of a mafia member. Has 10 silver bullets and 40 normal bullets.
[ .32 Pistol ] - Default gun of a mafia member. Has 10 silver bullets and 40 normal bullets.
[ Desert Eagle ] - Default gun of a mafia member. Has 5 gold bullets, 10 silver bullets and 40 normal bullets.

[ 5 Star General ]

1 of each guns.


[ Bazooka ] - Bullets explodes and creates fire on impact. Be careful as you can damage you allies too. 5 bazooka bullets only.
[ Machine Gun ] - A gun which has auto fire. Player must choose between Rapid Fire, fires 50 bullets, Speed Fire, fires 25 bullets, or OMGWTFBBQ Fire, fires 500 bullets. Has 5000 silver bullets. Take note that one bullet cant even kill a rat. Be careful as you can damage you allies too.
[ Shot Gun ] - Fires at random enemy. Be careful as you can damage you allies too. One fire uses 2 bullets that hits 10 enemies. Has 50 silver bullets.
[ Sniper Rifle ] - A gun that instantly kills smaller immortals. Be careful as you can damage you allies too. Each fire uses 1 bullets each. Has 5 silver bullets.

Playing a Strict Game

The Rules

Follow ToS.

Keep everything PG-13. Blood and gore are accepted.

[ 3 ]
Respect your fellow RP'ers. Have a reason to attack them and if your character died because of the other character, don't go crying about it.

[ 4 ]
Be realistic. Except for the immortals and monsters, don't go giving your character magical powers.

[ 5 ]
No godmodding.

[ 6 ]
Keep count of your ammunition as I will cound them too.

[ 7 ]
Your character must be a human. Don't go being a demon as it is not allowed.

[ 8 ]
PM me with the title "I Want To Take The Trial", along with your character's info.

[ 9 ]
Only 1 character per gaians.

[ 10 ]
Keep in mind that what I say goes. This will be announced through my character, "The Voice In The Sky."

[ 11 ]
Respect your fellow RPers. Don't spam them to have their characters do what you want.

[ 12 ]
Stay in character. Your character's character will be in the post titled, "The Players." It's in the 2nd post of this thread.

[ 13 ]
You can hurt your allies throughout the game.
