NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101 PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go! Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it. Mechanics: Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with... Dice Rolls and What they Mean! 1-4 - Broken Bone 4-8 - Fever 9-12 - Heat Stroke 13-16 - Hypothermia 17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so. After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbersTotal Results and their Meaning 1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon! 7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable! 12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up! What Repeating Numbers Mean No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all. Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it. Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class! If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy! Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up! Bonus Mechanics:For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy. YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN... - You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to make ANOTHER rp to try again!

Molan wasn't sure he really cared to take a class like this, but with how often they were getting bumped, bruised, slashed up, and generally tossed off a cliff by everything... well...
He was a bit worried about the health of those he liked. So it seemed logical enough to take a class such as this. Even if some of the cases might not be things he wanted to think about dealing with. And the teacher was that lady from Scarentines who had nearly demolished half of them along with her booth. Right, best not to think about all of that.
In he came and a dummy he accepte-
WAIT that things arm was. Wait. Right. Oh... that was the problem with his. At least it was painfully obvious. He'd just... need to set it and get some supplies and hope it went well enough.
It was sort of in a sad floppy state. How pathetic. Still, at least if he could do this he'd be useful if someone ever fell and snapped something?

A brace, bandages, and well... all the general supplies. Really just emergency things for if this happened outside of the norm. Because he wouldn't be the one putting people back together in a hospital. Nope. Just if they broke it on a hike or something.
Why would they have been hiki- nope stop asking. Enough off things as it was.
The boil wandered back toward his dummy after collecting his supplies and worked on trying to right the arm in a position it should be before bracing it and starting to bandage the thing up. Surprisingly well and straight in fact. Because while that arm now looked like a mummy, he had gotten the bone near perfectly lined up and it certainly wouldn't be shifting unless heavily bumped. Yep, that arm wasn't going to get too much worse in the time they worked to return the poor sap to school.
Too bad the teacher looked rather ticked that he'd managed to use enough bandages for about three broken limbs. Well, it's not like supplies cost THAT much. And he wore enough layers of clothing he could have used something to wrap it... maybe almost that much.
Actually it was a bit hard to tell now. ... just how much had he used again?
"Er... less next time. Right." He mumbled quietly, looking a bit sheepish. He'd be back later for more practice... when she wasn't glowering.

Another day, another dummy. Molan wandered into the class the next day and was prepared to try and learn to care for a new sort of illness.
Sadly, it seemed that Cricket was still a bit cranky about the rather wasteful habit he had and wanted a real demonstration on his ability to learn from his mistakes. His dummy didn't have a broken arm, but it's leg was a mess.
...well he could do this. Maybe.
Why was it's leg that badly twisted? Cricket wasn't making an example of her anger was she? An awkward smile was offered to the teacher as he slunk back away with the dummy to his spot, ears and tail low. Right, less... bandages this time. Good idea. Very. Good. Idea.
(( 1-4 - Broken Bone // Cricket wants to see if he can be less wasteful. neutral I guess. ))

And Cricket was properly fearsome in her display. Molan found himself properly taking care NOT to take as many supplies. Probably a bad thing with how few he too.
One brace instead of a single for each side, and about half the bandages he probably should have had made it to his dummy. But he really didn't feel like facing the divine wrath of the teacher. And by divine he meant fiery, wood smashing, things flying everywhere wrath.
Yep. This was fine.
The boil did take his time carefully righting the twisted thing that had been a leg as best he could before attempting to bandage the thing up. The brace showed at multiple points, and you could definitely tell that thing had been a mush of gooey dummy bits some time ago. Still, it was fixed well enough. Not amazingly, but not terribly.
They'd live. Probably.
Or well they probably wouldn't lose the limb. Though he did get an equally scornful look this time. Too much, too little... he just couldn't get this right. "Maybe... tomorrow?" He offered, holding up both hands. He'd tried. Really.
At least he fulfilled his previous statement?

Class again. He wandered in finding that it was fairly normal to attend now. He wandered in casually as was normal, heading for the dummy's once more. This time, however, the issue wasn't nearly as obvious as he was handed his.
..what was wrong with i-
The fox paused as he looked at the note taped to it.
Not breathing.
Wait. The teacher wanted him to.... with a dummy that no one knew who else had touched when? Ew. Really. Oh Jack, this... didn't seem like the best of things to do.

Molan stared at the dummy a bit longer. He stared long and hard at it. Then at the supplies.
There was not nearly enough disinfectant to handle this. Nope. Absolutely not.
Both arms crossed defiantly after he stood and looked to the teacher. Limits, he had them. "I'm not doing that with something who knows who has touched." Absolutely not. Ew. "If it was a friend maybe, but not some disgusting dummy."
What if... no wait. Nope. Not going there.
He flicked his tail a few times annoyed and wandered back out the door with that. He'd come back tomorrow. Maybe he'd get a more acceptable option.

Another day another class. Perhaps he was a bit cheeky to come back so soon after his previous display. But it was still gross. And he did want to pass, really.
So in he went and up to the dummies once again. Apparently Cricket had taken him for an idiot and a one trick pony. Because the dummy he got once more had a broken bone, this time it was the ribs that had been punched in. Rather brutally. Wow, someone was violent.
Or perhaps Cricket just really didn't like him.
Either way Molan figured it didn't involve mouth to mouth with whoever last helped a doll thing and it'd do. So off he went with his new broken thing to try and put it back together. ONWARDS.

Well best to... try and fix the hole. Poor dummies. He quickly took out the bandage and took to trying to patch up the thing. Chest breaks were a bit more difficult, you couldn't brace them. Rather he just had to properly patch it up and hopefully this dummy would stay in place.
Perhaps.
Either way, he probably missed something but he'd done his job... well enough. The look he got for his work wasn't great, but he assumed it had more to do with the previous days work. Well, out he went. Another day another patching up done.
He'd just have to try again tomorrow.

Well then. It was that time of day again.
Molan wandered in slowly and waited to see what was awaiting him today. Which was... a dummy with another note.
Apparently this one had a fever of some sort. So they got sick. Well he could probably... help a little.
Wasn't it best to let someone who was sick rest? There was only so much you could do with that sort of thing. At least he just wanted to be left alone to rest when he wasn't feeling well. Oh well, best to just do as told. There were some basic things that COULD help.

Well he wasn't entirely sure... just how much to do for this thing. But after collecting a few items for working with the demon wandered back to his patient. In all it's fake glory.
It was probably a good thing they didn't give him real people to work with on this, it would have had similar results with more contempt for the useless person. At least the dummy couldn't get upset about the rather disdainful look that it got from Molan as he carefully took to laying a chilled rag over it's forehead and made note that 'if it was a person' he'd have made some proper sort of meal.
Or gotten someone who could cook to do it. You know. At least feed them.
But really, the main thing was to let them rest. You'll never get over being sick unless you rest.
Jeez. Well this required less work than some of the previous ones. Or maybe he was just terrible at taking care of people. Either way, he'd apparently missed something somewhere, because Cricket didn't seem the most pleased. ..even if he did pass.
((Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it. Due to +1 for bonus mechanic and being over my 3rd try I get a 10 so it counts toward the skill. 2/3 for skill ))

Well today was another day for patching together the... fake beings. Really, Molan had very little sympathy for the things and was just coming in for a grade at this point.
And maybe the knowledge of how to put his friend back together if they DID get... kind of skewered or something. Maybe.
Not that many of the things he'd dealt with were going to work out nearly as well in an actual fight. Oh well, he was trying. Perhaps. So another day and he'd been handed another dummy to work with. Today's ailment was apparently one that had their heart stop. Well that seemed a bit severe.
Really, he looked between his little sticky note and the teacher a few times before shrugging. Well if they wanted to trust him with trying to bring back the proverbial dead, he could certainly try. ONWARD... to probably failing.

And then. Then Molan did something odd. He managed to get the things non-existent heart going again. Well, not really. But he apparently knew enough about what to do to please Cricket. Because for once, she seemed to ACCEPT the results of his work.
No scornful look. WELL THEN! He had apparently managed to figure this class out.
...even if he had no idea what he just did.
