Ittarius MikkeB xWiddow Hello I'm in need of assistance! Who else feels they are in the wrong body? it gets to the point where I'm depressed for days. I've been to a therapist recently, and it just solidified what I has expected years ago--- that I have GID
By the way: I'm a male in a female body I explicitly HATE the term "Gender Identity Disorder." It's totally outdated and implies that being transgender means having a mental disease. Gender dysphoria is closer - it's related to body dysphoria, which is the condition in which a person feels that their physical body is entirely wrong for them. This includes feeling discoordinated in their body, among other things.
By the way, I'm transgender too, MTF. Sometimes, the very presence of my male genitals feels so wrong to me that I want to slap them on top of a cutting board and whack them off with a meat cleaver. Other times, I feel like I might be able to keep them even after I'm fully transitioned.I totally agree. There are a million gender identities and all of them are cool. Implying that someone is "wrong" because they don't conform to cis' society rules is stupid and dehumanizing.
Yeah. I'm genderqueer and no one gets me when they question me. . ___ .
