Role: Middle Dragon Prince
Bio: Unmei is the middle son and in the eyes some people the ugliest. His human form is not all that bad, but his true self is not a normal dragon. Some have called it a hodgepodge of creatures, not a dragon. Others have called it a deformed and hideous beast. Which is some ways is true. His dragon form displays a mixed heritage from far back in his family blood lines. It is a trait his brothers and father do not share, and so makes him unique, but at the same time it has robbed him of sight in both forms.
Appearance: Unmei is 6ft tall and lean, thin faced, and angular. He has a small nose and elf like ears. He has shoulder length straight hair, and pale fair skin that is soft and without scars. His hands and feet are narrow, and despite his royal heritage he is always barefoot. His hands are callused because he is used to hard work and so are his feet from being barefoot for so many years. He Cares not for his public appearance, and so wears peasant clothing, despite being a prince. His teeth are clean and he seems to take good care of himself.
Dragon Form: A four legged two winged dragon like his older brother, but with some major differences. His scaled skin is armored with bony plates and is covered in a short, thick, soft, and fully fire proof black fur. His eyes are small, and cannot see. His hind legs are smaller than his front legs, with smaller talons. His front legs are strong and muscular, with broad hand like feet short toes and large talons. His head is covered by a bony armor plate and at the front of his snout he has a short, slightly upward turned, spade like horn. He has large bat like ears that are like wise armored with bony plates. His wings are large, clearly those of a dragon, but each wing has thicker, stronger, heavier bones and each wing also has a hand very similar to the front feet. The membranes of the wings are a vibrant almost iridescent indigo in coloration and are very strong compared to the wing membranes of other dragons. His tail is long, muscular, and lined with opposable spade shaped scales that can fan out and rotate 90 degrees for display or lie flat against the sides of the tail to armor it. If one were to look at him long enough the similarities between him and a mole would be astonishing. In dragon form he is just as large as his older brother is.
Weapon: Unmei in dragon form is capable of a echolocation, and has a powerful piercing scream that is painful for others to hear and can temporarily stun others. In his human form, Unmei wields a strange cane sword with a purple blade that was forged using powerful magic. It is imbued with his dragon form’s scream as well as his ability to echolocate, and so when he holds the sword with intent to attack, it produces his scream. As long as he holds onto the sword whether sheathed or not, he is able to see what is around him as white outlines in a sea of black darkness. The blade is also forged from a combination obsidian and the finest Elven steel; ensuring that the blade will never dull and is very strong.

Bio: From birth, Ren was the forgotten son, the shadow of his brother, who was by far more favored and glorified. Rather than feel hatred or jealousy, Ren chose to admire his brother. However, instead of becoming his brother's second mate and advisor, Ren chose to excel in aspects his brother did not. He made himself independent of the throne, and has joined the council of commanders despite his youth. He isn't nearly as talented as his older brother in strength or rarity, but does fairly well in magic and excels in intellect and precision. Though he is his brother's brother, they are both distinctive. If it's one thing that Ren hates most, it is when people compare them or group them together. He strives for freedom and free-will. He doesn't mind the marriage at all, and likes the idea of having a woman as his own. He would've liked to fall in love, but his father's will is above all.

Weapon: He is good with lighter weapons, such a one-handed swords and the such. He also has a military pistol and knife on him most of the time.

Other: Ren's personality is sociable and independent, however, is quite demanding and manipulative underneath face.
While he isn't nearly as bitter at the loss of his mother like his older brother was, it is still a touchy subject.

Bio: Sereda, much like her kin, practiced magic from an early age. She was tutored in many subjects and her intelligence is known to surpass even her elders. She was raised hard, though, and as a result has become, oddly enough, both secluded and undeniably pretentious. While her skills with magical and academic study are highly advanced, her skills in melee are lacking substantially and her social skills are hardly considered up to par. When it comes to the betrothal of her to a Dragon son, she is indifferent and in public seems to not hold an objective opinion. Sereda is both trustworthy and blunt, telling people how things are.

Other: When traveling, Sereda will often either shrink or "remove" her wings. She does not actually do such, but uses magic to simply take them into her body. Sereda does this to both create more room for fellow travel partners and to remain in some form of disguise.

Bio: As the princess of the Saint Thieves, Shayna liked to go on her own 'pillages' which normally meant setting her sisters up and then coming and attacking to steal their 'treasure'. As the war went on it became more and more clear to her that they were going to lose, especially after one or two of her sister's died. She then went into secretly joining the war to keep some more of her friends and family safe. As she started this though, the kings and the Great Dragon came to a truce. The most beautiful daughters for each of his sons... That meant her. She tried to hide but at some point one of her youngest sister's ratted her out.

Bio: The underground kingdom of Trystal harbored quite an indifferent attitude to the marriage of their second princess and third royal child, Eureka. There were three sisters and a male heir, so missing one of them was not necessarily a loss. Moreover, the “Country of Crystal” was quite pleased that the war would be over so that they could once again return to their own lives. Since the three sisters of the kingdom were all considered beautiful, they drew straws and by chance of misfortune for the rather lucky Eureka, she drew the short end. Now, the kingdom of Trystal was a kingdom that thrived on free will as long as the king gained money, so the environment Eureka was raised in was one of free-spirit and diligence. She is lively and somewhat arrogant, and thrives in her culture. She thinks being married off is somewhat a drag, but it is far better than being single all her life or being married to an old duke. Eureka knows her duty as being somewhat of a collateral, and will respect that, but she doesn’t like the idea of being caged.

Bio: Lucia was raised as an orphan, her mother and father possibly killed after her birth, nonetheless she never searched to find that out, instead she merely moved on with her life. She had a tough personality and got into a lot of fights at the orphanage to the point where they had to send her away when she reached the age of fifteen. After wondering for at least two years a a homeless teenager a man saw potential in her skills of evading authority, stealing and fighting off any guards within the marketplaces. From there she was given a place to stay and she found that he used to be a royal guard for the King. In fact he had been there when the wife of the Great Dragon was killed. Under his wing she learned how to hone her skills and once she reached her early twenties she joined the Draconem military and became a soldier. Lucia climbed the ranks quickly which was surprising since she had been the only woman to show such dedication and strength. It was after becoming a general did she decide to serve her King directly by joining the Royal guard.
Lucia was there as his sons grew, the eldest son a bit older than her so it was easier for him to get used to the fact that she was there to protect him though his brothers soon came to realize the same thing. For the many years after joining the Royal Guard she has become the leader of the other royal guards. She accompanies the three though now that they are getting married she'll have to serve one though typically it was the eldest that she would serve but if he didn't want her as a guard then she would move to the second and so on and so forth.
Lucia is dedicated to her job and her personality is serious, hard working and a she has a over all tough interior/exterior. But nonetheless she still is a woman. And even if she had/has fallen for a Prince (most likely the eldest) it would be something she would never admit or even speak about.

Who do you Serve: Prince Unmei Draco’em
Bio: Nicolas grew up In Draconem long before the princes were born. He was a dragon born to human parents. His great grand fathers on both sides of the family were dragons, and He was the first dragon to be born into either of his parent’s families in four generations. He Has long worked in the kingdom as a farmer on the outskirts of the kingdom, up until a four year old prince by the name of Unmei knighted him. Nicolas has been Prince Unmei’s personal bodyguard and chosen knight ever since. He is rarely in his dragon form because He has found he can best protect The prince in his human form. His job is quite easy these days, because Unmei rarely needs protection. This Old dragon is quite unique in that just like the prince who he serves, He is a type of dragon that so very rare.

Appearance: Nicolas appears to be in his 40s maybe early 50s but in reality he is much older than that. His is a thin elderly man, with a scraggly white beard that he keeps about 4 inches long and in a braid. He has a full head of scraggly white hair as well and he keeps it in a short ponytail. He is 5ft6 tall, and seems to weigh no more than 140 pounds. He seems harmless, but he is remarkably strong a man his age. He has what is called a farmer’s tan, his forearms, face, neck, and lower legs are a dark and heavy tan, while the rest of him is pale from being covered up. He tends to wear his old farmer’s tunic and leggings, with the only clue that he is a knight being an armored plate he wears on his left shoulder that bear’s Prince Unmei’s insignia: an image of a mole.
Dragon Form: In dragon form Sir Nicolas is a large dragon that seems to have a great deal in common with birds. His wings are like those of a mighty eagle, broad and powerful, but the feathers are all an almost black dark purple, just like those of a crafty a raven. His four legs are those of a regular dragon, but lined with those same dark purple feathers. His neck is that of a dragon, but instead of a muzzle he has a cruel and wicked beak with razor sharp interlocking serrations large enough to be mistaken for teeth. His long tail is feathered, but the tip of the tail is bladed. Most of his body is covered in the black purple feathers of a raven and his eyes glow golden.
Weapon: in his human form he has a simple walking staff that looks rather ordinary at first glance, but to those who can sense magic, it is a powerful magical implement. What is so powerful about it is not the benefits it provides, but the strong sealing powers it possesses. It suppresses his magic and so helps him keep it under control. It’s not that he’s a particular powerful dragon, he has almost no control over his vast amount of magical potential, and while he doesn't know any spells at all, without that staff, his body would radiate massive amounts of storm based magical energies and that in itself makes him dangerous. He has that staff in one of his hands at all times, and it also blocks his ability to transform into a dragon. He staff is bone white and riddled with blood red runes. If he ever deliberately throws the staff away from himself, it would be a good idea to prepare yourself for anything and everything, because he has never let go of it in his 23 years of being a knight.

Other: Not a soul other than Unmei has seen the man’s dragon form, and so not a soul besides Unmei knows the man is a dragon. Not even the other two princes or the Great Dragon himself know. Nicolas’s true draconic nature is the best kept secret in the kingdom.

Who do you Serve: Ren Dreco'em
Bio: Marth was born from a small family that was poor. His father was killed by an assassin one night while he was sleeping, and his mom became filled with so much despair, she committed suicide. Marth was alone from that point on, and even though he was alone, he never lied, stole, or cheated. Instead, he got a job at the market to learn trading, though his master had often beaten him with a wooden staff when no one was watching. Due to his treatment, he had ran away as best he could one night while his master was sleeping and made his way to the castle where he became the servant of Ren. He had heard of the war and of the marriage that was supposed to take place, but that didn't interest him in the slightest. Being poor, he had not learned how to fight.

Bio: The 9th King of Draconem, became King at a very young age after his Father contracted an illness his mother took care of him and advised him before see died the day before he was married. He ruled with an iron fist but treated his people fairly through the kindness of his wife until the day the people revolted against him. The Years of war took a toll on the people until one day when the traitors came in the night and attacked the battle in the Castle took a toll on Cryus as his Wife died protecting her children. The years passed and war is weaking all kingdoms as of this people would be lost and the war would be all for nothing until Cryus called a truce if only the Kings Agreed to Let their daughters be married to His sons and they agreed thus peace will stay for now as long as Cryus sees his sons married and they live a peaceful life thats all that matters to him.

Who do you Serve: First Prince Kaimei
Bio: Hana and Toge are a pair of identical twins who’s mother died giving birth to them. Their mother was a servant of first prince Kaimei who had cared for the prince for a number of years. The boys were born healthy and normal, but their father was rather saddened whenever he would look at them. Exactly why has been unclear up until He left them in the care of First Prince Kaimei. In a letter that he left for the prince, he stated that while his sons had been born healthy, they’re each been born with an incomplete power. They each had the power to become a dragon, but they couldn’t become a dragon without each other. They were identical twins separate physically in human form, but in dragon form they shared a single body, and while in human form they were identical, they had very different powers. Hana’s power represents the beauty of plants and dragons associated with them, while Toge’s power represents the ugly side of plants and dragons associated with them. If they were a rose plant, Hana would be the flower, and Toge the thorns. You can’t have one without the other, and in dragon form the two form a single dragon.

Appearance: in human form they are a pair of 3ft tall healthy thin faced 5 year old boys with blonde hair and blue eyes. The two are always dressed in shorts and matching white long sleeve garbs, and the two are always looking for ways to have fun and play games. They look up to the prince like a father and often call Kaimei ‘papa’ regardless of his wishes.
Dragon Form: in dragon form Hana and Toge form a single dragon with two separate heads and necks, 1 perfectly formed body, 4 front legs, 2 wings, 2 back legs, and a long tail that divides in two half way down its length. Each boy controls one side of the dragon’s body, and despite their youth, they have already mastered moving around in dragon form on foot. Though flight and their breath weapons are still out of reach. They are too young to fly anyway. Their wings still too small and weak. The left head and neck is Toge. His horns and crests while small and dull are thorns. The right head and neck is Hana. His horns and crests are blue rose petals. In this form, their mouths resemble flytraps of a Venus Flytrap plant, but their interlocking teeth are small, short, and dull. Their eyes though are without a doubt those of baby dragons. Wide yellow eyes with big round pupils. The body they share has six legs: four front and two back. Their elbows wrists, knees, and ankles have very short thorn like spikes on them and the toes for their six feet look like roots, but still serve as toes. Their claws short and dull. Their tail’s two tips are tipped with thorn like blades that while small, can hurt quite a lot if that tail is whipped about. Their two wings are bird like, with blue rose petals instead of feathers and hook like thorns instead of claws. Their dragon form has grey scales, but some of the scales look like pieces of bark.
Weapon: Hana and Toge have wooden toy cork guns. These weapons are harmless. But they were enchanted with a powerful sound based magic by Second Prince Unmei. Each time the cork guns fire each one emits the sound of a massive siege cannon firing. The Guns do not fire actual projectiles since the corks are attached to the barrels by strings, but they can be dangerous because the sound of a cannon going off is accompanied by a concussive blast of sound that damage one’s hearing and if used at close range can cause bodily harm. The guns are modeled to look like muskets, and The boys were instructed to only use them when lives were at stake. So the two keep the guns on their backs when not in use.

Bio: Bandora was born queen of the fairies, and is usually a kind person to her people. She secretly bore a son long before the war and one day, her son was killed, and before she could discover the truth, she blamed the dragons for it. She had rallied her troops against the dragons, not telling thesoul reason why she wanted a war with them, and it was her love of people that she decided that a truce be made to insure that her people live. Sure she's in charge of a kingdom and has to make tough decisions, but she really wants the dragons to die.

She was beautiful, sitting there in the natural light the window behind her provided. It illuminated her silhouette, which made her seem ethereal. Her dark eyes were casted down towards the floor with a depressing look in her face, a rather rare expression on the third child of Trystal. It was this very beauty that had very well cursed her to be wedded off now and leave her home. She glanced down at the straw in her hand now, it now serving as a symbol of her misfortune. She honestly did not know why she carried it around with her but she now kept it in her pocket as a reminder of her fate. Perhaps it was to serve as an illogical self-destructive prophecy or to remind her that it is her duty to serve her country in this fashion. Nonetheless, she gripped the straw and jammed it in one of her pockets.
She failed to notice her brother watching her, his matching dark eyes and chestnut hair shining brilliantly in the hazy light. Only when she happened to catch his eye did he make a motion to talk to her.
"Eureka." He gave her a hug tightly, embracing so long she began to squirm. "It was rude of the others not to see you off like this."
Eureka looked up at him, his face full of genuine concern for her. She sighed, preferring that her sisters did not see her pitiful self off. They had already bid farewells during breakfast. She knew that behind the tears and reminiscing, her sisters were relieved that they themselves did not pick the shortest straw. She bit her lip, a bad habit of hers, before looking behind her, behind the carriage that would take her from her home. Her brother put a hand on her shoulder and kissed her forehead. She kissed his cheek in turn. "Good bye Laertes," she murmured solemnly before getting into the carriage.
Alone. It wasn't such a horrible feeling. However, being alone in a confined space was murder. She stuck her head out the window, to free her anxious mind of their troubling thoughts, watching the Country of Trystal disappear behind her.

Ren began to cough, leaving the room as he covered his mouth, coughing several times. He was getting sick, he knew; he always did around this season. He cleared his throat, a little irritated with his health as he looked out the window. It was a clear day. Not a single ship was in the air at the moment. He searched for smoke trails but found none. He sighed and reentered the room, his jacket straightened. He bowed his head slightly.
"Pardon," he muttered, returning to his seat. The man who sat across from him was intimidating, hard eyes and a scar that ran from his inner eye down his cheek. The scar disappeared underneath his beard. He scratched it before standing himself. "Lord Ren, I think with this it is appropriate I take leave now. We will discuss this on another occasion," he stated, bowing his head to Ren before leaving.
Ren grit his teeth, a little irritated that they didn't end their conversation on terms he would've liked. He grumbled a bit before coughing. "Damn."
He stopped by, on his way to his brother's study, to ask a maid for some medicine. He entered without knocking, spotting his two elder brothers speak to each other. He cleared his throat to catch their attention, though he knew Unmei had probably sensed he was there before he did.
"Do you know when they're coming? Do you think they're as beautiful as they say?"
His face was contemplative, yet had a lack much expression. He was curious, since he never met any princesses before. Especially because the wartimes were such a hostile era, he rarely got to meet many people. He was a forgotten prince, so while many important people met with his two older brothers, he got only left overs or nothing at all. |
