Kasai is very untrusting of others, mainly because of her parents being killed. The only one she trusts is her adoptive father, the head master of the light magic school. She stayed distant from everyone and rarely smiles. It seems nothing can make her smile. But everyone says that her smile is enough to make anyone's day. But she loves animals and will help them without a second thought. But they are the only beings she trusts other than her adopted father.

Nex walked out of one of the dark arts classes and close his eyes.he felt the darkness flowed inside of his vains almost making him black out from high levels of magic"the next class should be turning little rats into demons from demonic magic"the fighting from both of the side of the schools is happing much more with dark followers starting fight with light followers

Kasai sighed as she exited her classroom. She was in her human form since her phoenix form was too big to fit inside of the building, she was also scared of causing a fire. As she walked she noticed Nex but didn't look at him. She had a scar on her cheek from some bullies as a kid. She passed Nex but bumped into his shoulder with one of her wings. She dropped her book that she had and didn't even notice it. It was a phoenix journal to keep her progress. it had a strange ancient language that only a phoenix could read. She was one of the few phoenix's in the school after all.

Nex felt Kasai bump into him and his hand reach out to take one of her's feather for what she did and know that she would not know if it go missing.he knee down and picked up the journal.he slowly read from it only knowing a bit of the language "phoenix writing"Nex then had a mean ldea showed up in his haft undead brain.he walked up to Kasai and hold the book out over a river"what would happened if this fall into the drink?"

Kasai saw him holding the journal over the river. "You have no right to have that!" She said as her body started to turn into a large rainbow phoenix, the rarest Phoenix of all. Kasai then used her speed to get the journal when he wasn't looking and slapped him before she flew off and went through the window of her dorm which had been opened. She turned human just as her talons hit the windowsill. She then glared back at Nex and sat down on her bed hugging her real father's notebook. It was all that remained of her species and her sanity. if anything ever happened to it she would never forgive herself.

Kasai skipped her next class since it was dark magic. She didn't feel like going and she didn't want to see any dark magic users. She just went to the garden and stayed there in her rainbow phoenix form, watching the animals with their families from a large magic tree that seemed to react to her touch. It had a voice and she loved to listen to the sounds of nature under the shade of that very tree. It had her mother and father's initials on it from when they first met. They were both dark and light magic users. They wanted her to choose what type of magic she used. She just stayed there not liking being indoors. The journal that was special to her was hidden in her special place where no one could find it. It was inside a sealed safe that her mother came up with to protect Kasai as a baby. She was 5 when they were killed.

moving out from the shadow was a baby bunny that was filled with dark magic and ran into the same tree over and over.dark magic users like to test spells onto living things and that was show what soon to become if the masters don't stop the younger from killing everything around the school from darkness.the darkness around the bunny fade away when Nex knee down and kissed it on the back of the neck"no little one death is not for you yet...unlike the others testing on the weak looked down on from my family only those willing to be tested on should"Nex is one of the few who have somewhat of a good side

Kasai saw the bunny and glared at Nex but looked away staying in her tree looking up at the rising moon. She was very powerful even though she didn't look it. SHe stayed quiet watching the moon and making a wish that she would find someone who understood how she felt.

She then flew off her tears falling as she flew to her dorm. It was in the girl's dormitory and as such no boys were allowed in. But Kasai wasn't the most popular girl there. She didn't have any friends here and was actually thinking of quitting if she didn't make any.
