There lies a place full of darkness and foreboding offset from the Forrest leading inward to the swamp. It smells dank and cruel as you intake the air for this is the gateway birthplace to the home of the Kelpies. Set specifically by Epona herself to be hidden away from reality yet a place to roam. This ill-felt place holds many a mystery and yet something even more malicious.
Traveling deeper you realize its a passage to something more ominous then you'd ever imagine. Skeletal remains mark a defined path warding the good-hearted in fear. So if they stray close there was time to abandon their foolish guises and slip away without memory of this ill-fated place.
Those that travel onward to the Deep in the underlying catacombs where the stale scent of life was masked by death there lied a hidden cavern encased in mystery. Many speak of this foul place as a burial ground or a sacrificial chamber. The point is that murmurs off everyone's lips is those that enter that abyss never return. Some even say if you listen closely the agonizing screams bellow throughout the deepest water mirror the terror the souls being torn limb from limb.
