I don't wear makeup but if I do , I only put a tiny bit( ppl can barely notice the change). What I don't like about the ppl at my school is they look at your appearance first. (Except my friends, i love them^-^)So , I wanna know, if you put some makeover on you, will you have more friends/more attention?

I don't wear makeup as much as I did before, but I do like wearing it. I believe I put on a moderate amount, some eyeliner and a bit of eye shadow, top it off with lip stain of a light color. I would get some compliments about how I did my makeup, but I didn't really get any more friends or attention from it. I started wearing makeup my 11th grade year and I kind of met most of my friends before that, and then the ones after I made in 12th grade, so there wasn't much of a difference at my school. When I go out no one approaches me about it, so I guess it doesn't really matter in my case lol. I just like to put it on.

Thanks for replying ! smile I guess I feel a lot more comfortable without makeup on and I'm only in 10th grade .. You know sometimes, you feel a little "out" because every other girls wear tones of makeup and you don't ...

No, I don't think it increases the amount of friends you have or anything
of the sort. I put on two types of coverup (A liquid then a powder). Most of my
attention when putting on makeup goes to my eyes. Thick eyeliner with fish
tail sides, mascara, smokey eyeshadow, and I've bought some real cute false
eyelashes but haven't had the chance to use them. I won't lie, if you have some
really dramatic eye make up on, it's noticed. At least by other women. I guess
they appreciate the time and effort it takes more than guys (not much of a
shock there really.) I've always gotten a lot of compliments on my eye makeup.

But no. It does not get you more friends. An outgoing, go-lucky, friendly
personality is the only thing that can do that. And sometimes even with that
it can be difficult in a world that focuses mainly on appearance. But that doesn't
necessarily mean that it controls everything.

My point is, if you have a good attitude, you don't isolate yourself,
and you're generally an open, friendly person you should be fine. Just
be yourself and everything else should fall into place.

I never wore makeup casually
I had to for my dance recitals, prom and costumes, but that's not everyday, or casual

But I'm the person who doesn't need it (maybe cover acne, but that's it), I'm the person who has random strangers who tell me that if I'm not a model, I should be

Though it hasn't happened pain a long time, thankfully

You're welcome. c: I understand that, it's good to feel comfortable with what you want to do. Makeup is fun and all for the people who want to use it, but it's perfectly fine if you don't want to. For me, I had actually not thought about the fact that other girls had worn makeup. I just suddenly decided one day, hey, it might be fun to put on a little bit and see what I look like. I did and I liked it, so I just started wearing it every day. I've gotten lazy with it though so that's why I don't do it as much lol.

You're so lucky >.< I have big dark under eye circles !
I think it's awesome when you just put makeup only on special occasion because you kinda "surprise" others xD

Thanks! smile oh god, I don't know anything about smokey eyes lol >.<
I used to have a girl friend, she didn't wear makeup but now she does and she completely changed (her personality)... She only hang outs with other girls who has makeup on(I guess it was to get attention) -.- it's hard to believe she was once "my friend".

But I don't understand , how can ppl have uneven skin tone?o.O

I did, and I still do sometimes. I didn't go out and get the more expensive makeup until under a year ago lol. It's funny, I can only afford the nice makeup when I hardly wear it anymore. XD;
I usually just waited for my makeup to fade and would wipe it off the next day to reapply. Nowadays if I do wear it, I do the same thing, but just wipe it off in the shower.

I don't wear make-up. Only because no matter how much I put on, it NEVER covers my acne scars.
