 Who are they to tell us who we are, what we feel, what to do? We are human beings for Pete's sake! We might have issues, but who doesn't? So ours are a little more extreme than others, so what? We are just a little different...
Plot
This story is about a group of people, ages 15-22, admitted into a mental hospital. Learning to cope with their disorders and strange addictions that are 'unhealthy' for society. Living in this hospital is chaos. Many have tried to escape and failed, others have been released, and few have gotten to the point of suicide through tricks and serious planning. Life is hard to live with and some people need help. This is your life on the line here. Are you going willing to open up, share your life experiences, and maybe, just maybe, escape this cage?

Side Note:
This profile is your own creation. The disorder is up to you, even if you make it up. If it is going to be made up, I would like to know the name, definition and symptoms. Be as creative as your mind will let you. Anything could happen! There is a list made, in detail, of the patient's disorders already checked in. I have no problem with people having the same disorder, as long as it is okay with the other person. I hope this makes things clear for those of you who were wondering. Have Fun!!!

Borderline Personality Disorder: is a mental health condition in which a person has long-term patterns of unstable or turbulent emotions. These inner experiences often result in impulsive actions and chaotic relationships with other people.
Symptoms:
x Intense fear of being abandoned
x Cannot tolerate being alone
x Frequent feelings of emptiness and boredom
x Frequent displays of inappropriate anger
x Impulsiveness, such as with substance abuse or sexual relationships
x Repeated crises and acts of self-injury, such as wrist cutting or overdosing
Erotophonopilia: A murder associated with lust. Usually the perpetrator has a sexual obsession with the victim. Often mutilation of sexual organs or other acts of a sexual nature are involved.
Symptoms:
x Sexual arousal from killing someone
x Abnormal amount of time spent thinking about killing someone
x Recurring intense sexual fantasies involving killing someone
x Recurring intense sexual urges involving killing someone
Zombie Addiction: is an addiction one has with the undead and becoming the undead. Zombies and Corpses are the main focus of this fixation.
Symptoms:
x Self mutilation
x Lack of sleep
x Sluggish behavior
x Diet consisting of only raw meat
x Biting Habits
x Keeping dead animals, insects and/or even people
x Endless hunger
Pyromania: is an impulse control disorder in which individuals repeatedly fail to resist impulses to deliberately start fires, in order to relieve tension or for instant gratification.
Symptoms:
x Depressed mood
x Thoughts of suicide
x Repeated conflicts in interpersonal relationships
x Poor ability to cope with stress
Asperger's Syndrome: is often considered a high functioning form of autism. It can lead to difficulty interacting socially, repeat behaviors, and clumsiness.
Symptoms:
x Their body language may be unusual.
x They may speak in a monotone, and may not respond to other people's comments or emotions.
x They may not understand sarcasm or humor, or they may take a figure of speech literally.
x They do not recognize the need to change the volume of their voice in different settings.
x They have problems with eye contact, facial expressions, body postures, or gestures (nonverbal communication).
x They may be singled out by other children as "weird" or "strange."
Dissociative Identity Disorder: also known as multiple personality disorder (MPD), is an extremely rare mental disorder characterized by at least two distinct and relatively enduring identities or dissociated personality states that alternately control a person's behavior, and is accompanied by memory impairment for important information not explained by ordinary forgetfulness.
Symptoms:
x Memory loss (amnesia) of certain time periods, events and people
x Mental health problems, including depression and anxiety
x A sense of being detached from yourself (depersonalization)
x A perception of the people and things around you as distorted and unreal (derealization)
x A blurred sense of identity
Schizophrenia: is a mental disorder that makes it hard to: Tell the difference between what is real and not real; Think clearly; Have normal emotional responses; Act normally in social situations.
Symptoms:
x Irritable or tense feeling
x Trouble concentrating
x Trouble sleeping
x Bizarre behaviors
x Hearing or seeing things that are not there (hallucinations)
x Isolation
x Reduced emotion
x Problems paying attention
x Strongly held beliefs that are not real (delusions)
x Thoughts that "jump" between different topics (“loose associations”)
Antisocial Personality Disorder: is a mental health condition in which a person has a long-term pattern of manipulating, exploiting, or violating the rights of others. This behavior is often criminal.
Symptoms:
x Be able to act witty and charming
x Be good at flattery and manipulating other people's emotions
x Break the law repeatedly
x Disregard the safety of self and others
x Have problems with substance abuse
x Lie, steal, and fight often
x Not show guilt or remorse
x Often be angry or arrogant
Insomnia: is trouble falling asleep or staying asleep through the night. Episodes may come and go (episodic), last up to 3 weeks (short-term), or be long-lasting (chronic).
Symptoms:
x Trouble falling asleep on most nights
x Feeling tired during the day or falling asleep during the day
x Not feeling refreshed when you wake up
x Waking up several times during sleep
x Trouble concentrating
x Suicidal thoughts or actions
Misophonia:
literally “hatred of sound", is a neurological disorder in which negative experiences (anger, flight, hatred, disgust) are triggered by specific sounds. The sounds can be loud or soft.
Symptoms:
x Angered, and even enraged, by common ambient sounds (such as other people clipping their nails, brushing teeth, eating crushed ice, eating, breathing, sniffing, talking, sneezing, yawning, walking, chewing gum, laughing, snoring, typing on a keyboard, whistling or coughing; certain consonants; or repetitive sounds)
x Some are also affected by visual stimuli (such as repetitive foot or body movements, fidgeting, or movement they observe out of the corners of their eyes)
x Intense anxiety and avoidant behavior may develop, which can lead to decreased socialization.
x Some people feel the compulsion to mimic what they hear or see to feel better.
Avoidant Personality Disorder: is a mental health condition in which a person has a lifelong pattern of feeling very shy, inadequate, and sensitive to rejection.
Symptoms:
x Be easily hurt when people criticize or disapprove of them
x Hold back too much inintimate relationships
x Be reluctant to become involved with people
x Avoid activities or jobs that involve contact with others
x Be shy in social situations out of fear of doing something wrong
x Make potential difficulties seem worse than they are
x Hold the view they are not good socially, not as good as other people, or unappealing |

Open eyes starring up at the lights as the door creaked open and in stepped a short, heavy set woman with red and grey hair. Tate rolled his eyes as the nurse approached him with less hesitance than usual. She unshackled his ankles from his bed posts and more cautiously freed his hands. Backing up, she went to the door and picked up a small pile of clothes that laid folded on the floor. When she placed them on his bed, he let out a smile sigh. One more day done, only another week to go.
Tate got dressed with only the thoughts of his release meeting keeping his patience with the hospital. The thought of going on a killing spree of every persons in this hospital aroused him as a smile crept across his lips. But knowing very well that if he were to do that, he would never be released. His thoughts cut short by the tight grip on his wrist from the short nurse made him a bit irritated. He let the nurse pull him out of his room and down the pale white halls, to the cafeteria. He looked out the wall of windows at all the people in the small courtyard. There were smokers, dancers, and even some people reading. When the nurse asked if he was hungry, a simple shake of the head was all he gave her. He just wanted his morning cigarette. She lead him to the blue metal door and opened it, letting in the warm air and smell of fall. He stepped outside and walked over to a patient who was smoking. Getting a cigarette, he smiled at the feeling of the smoke filling his lungs. Cigarettes..the slower the death, the more wondrous. To die quickly is such a waste. He took another drag before walking over to a wooden bench and sitting down beneath the small orange maple tree.

'Shift'.... 'Shift'... 'Shift'....
The sounds of someone shuffling their legs slowly as a nurse followed behind, making sure nothing bad happened filled the empty hallway as she led the man to the cafeteria with the others. He was always slow, giving his addiction...
"Need... meat..." Moaned the patient, a rather wicked smile on his face, his whole body mutilated and stitched back together as if he was a rag doll of sorts.
Finally making it, the nurse sat him down, giving him a bone to bite on as he waiting for his meal, giving a dead gaze to the other onlookers. His hunger, always endless to begin with, wanted to be filled, so many treats of flesh around him waiting to sink his teeth into...
But they also bring a meal...

ＡｓｔｅｒxxＦｏｒｇｅ
 She was outside during the time of lunch, but she had finished early though eaten little as usual. Some bread, a plum and a piece of ham given to her. She rarely ate a whole lot more, or wanted more, but she enjoyed her lunch time and the vibrant colors that surrounded the outdoors. She wasn't alone either, she was never allowed to be when outside her room nor did she want to be. She was far from the others lying against the orange maple tree, a children's picture book in her hand for her to gaze at and let the time pass. It was the story of Peter Pan. She'd read over the words, having no trouble reading, she was more fascinated with the art that was put down on paper and one particular word that always caught her eyes because of the memories she connected with it.
Her eyes would gaze up towards an old man, a doctor that was standing not far from her to keep an eye on her though he seemed to be enjoying his time outside also. To her, he was the only person she has ever come to know and the most familiar one in her life. "Dr.Stenson." she'd call his name, and he'd most definitely listen since her words were rare to hear. "The antagonist's name is Captain Hook in this book. It makes me think of Hooke with an 'E' at the end of the name. He was a man who worked on the same ideas as Isaac Newton. Do you think this book his based about them because Peter defies gravity with magic?" she asked, making conversation. The doctor only seemed to ponder slightly , his hands in his pocket though he gave it thought with a gentle smile "Maybe, Aster. That's a good idea." he encouraged her. He knew the girl was fascinated with the head figures, science and such, and she delved just a little deeper towards the scientists from time to time rather than the pure practices they've discovered.
The smell of smoke would come closer, Aster would naturally smell it, and she'd gaze back towards Dr.Stenson in confusion. She didn't say anything, seeing that it wasn't coming from him, instead she'd lay the book aside to stand on her bare feet. Balancing against the tree slightly, she'd walk over it's roots and around as the scent of the smoke intensified. To her astonishment she could see another person, a bit of smoke drifting from them. Green eyes stared though, perhaps somewhat rudely to the another, but simply gazed for that there was another person so close by. She'd turn back to look towards Dr.Stenson and he was catching on quickly. He spoke up "C'mon Aster, put your sandals on." he picking up his book for her, she'd move away from the tree to grab her sandals though she didn't put them on. She'd gaze back towards the doctor, which he reminded her "You might step on something sharp if you don't." warning her, she thought about it for a little bit. This wasn't the first time he warned her, " Only when I'm inside." she told him. He didn't argue with her on that matter, he'd let her learn.
He'd take her hand and lead her away from the tree, taking her from the scent of smoke and further out. She'd walk with him, both in silence and the further they got away the further the image of that boy would fade. Though there were many people outside, for now she could only see Dr.Stenson and just for a moment she saw Tate. A stranger, but even if she was to look back she wouldn't see him. Even if he was to stand near her, she wouldn't see him. If he were to call out, his voice wouldn't exist. She'd enjoy her time outside and wonder where he'd take her next. For most people this place was a cage, but for those like her this was a sanctuary.

Alexis took a deep breath, taking in the smell of cigarettes, dirt and pine trees, as she walked along the path leading to her fellow inmate and the only person she had learned to tolerate. Passing by an older doctor and young woman, she bowed her head, keeping her eyes down. The doctors in this facility made her skin crawl and she never liked being near them. She shifted her eyes back up at Tate who was looking her way, but not at her, at the young woman she had just passed. The expression on his face was sheer pleasure.
Bee walked over and kicked his shoe playfully before speaking, "What were you thinking about?" Taking a seat next to him on the wooden bench and resting her head on his shoulder. "I never noticed her before. I could feel her eyes on me, but why? Her skin is of perfect complexion and her eyes, so full of innocence. I would love to see her scream." He said staring in the direction they had walked off to. He shook his head and handed Bee his cigarette, watching her take a drag. Even with her, he could see himself letting go. The way her chest moved as she inhaled. He could feel his skin tingle with excitement.
"I saw your milk incident. Mind explaining what that was about?" He asked shifting his eyes to the window. Her expression became annoyed. "Why does it matter to you?!" She shouted before slapping him across the face in one quick second. She glared at him, waiting for retaliation. He put his hand up, stopping a nurse from running over, and smiled with a soft laugh. "You can't hurt me. It only pleases me. To think of everything I could do to you." He whispered in her ear seductively before leaning back on the bench and taking his cigarette back from the stiffened girl. She was embarrassed, scared but flattered. Shaking the feeling, she sat back and looked up beneath the tree, enjoying the colors of each individual leaf.

Brains Bring Knowledge...
Continuous shifting towards the pair of misfits, Trevor wasn't really paying attention to their banter, just what was under their feet. On the other side of the tree, the ground looked as if it been tampered with recently, his companion hiding under the soil.
The dried blood began to crack on his face as he opened his mouth, hunger striking once more. He wanted meat... raw... bloody... meat... His hunger grew as he slowly passed by Tate and Alexis, not saying a single word to either of them. His deathly gaze was to his companion, going around the tree to the spot.
Slowly digging away with his hands, his companion soon revealed itself, a dead bunny rabbit. It's clean white fur was now soiled with dirt and blood, Trevor pulling it from its resting spot. "Hello... Hellfire..." Trevor mumbled with crack of a grin, putting his companion on his shoulder.
But They Also Bring a Meal...
