I was losing my voice earlier this week, my voice is mostly back but now my throat's been killing me (really dry when I wake up, full of congestion) and I guess it's been making my snoring really bad. Now I feel bad for giving my dad so much crap about snoring because apparently I'm just as bad!
But I just want whatever this is to go away! Teaching with a sore throat sux.

I've got something similar. I am taking antibiotics and will let you know if they help.

I've had the same thing for a week now. Just started clearing up a few days ago, was annoying as s**t.

Not sure the antibiotics are working. I'm still coughing. The steroid shot did help though.

I think it's finally starting to go away. I don't feel like the back of my throat has tons of junk in it/is completely dry when I wake up in the morning.

The doc has brought out the big guns now. (I may have a bit of a rattle in my chest.) Stronger antibiotics, steroids, vapor stuff and serious cough syrup.
