Target practice by snow-fall.
How lovely it was, to get a little bit physical work in whilst the snow danced around her - melding in with the milk-white colour of her skin. She would do a bit of archery practice, she had decided, and here she was, drawing string back and just following the flurries as they fell across her path.
No mistake though, she could hear the heavy footfalls of one close to her, but it wouldn't make her move. It was one of three people - and judging by the weight of the steps, it wasn't Mengyao - he walked too softly, nor was it Thrain - he was much louder than that.
"Practice, Sören?" She offered, a quiet question.

It would have been completely unfair for her to spar with her weapon out. When they had their battles, it was with fists. Turning towards him, she desummoned her weapon, giving him a quick once over. . .
Which ended up in her snorting, a little.
Putting her hand in front of her mouth, she tried so hard not to laugh any more, but she couldn't help it. It was there, and it was loud. Someone had made the proud warrior wear such a gaudy, bright sweater, and he didn't look terribly happy about it.
"What happened, Soren. You look like you were attacked by Father Christmas himself." She asked, eyes lit up with amusement. "Is it a type of call, trying to confuse this little horsewoman with flashiness?"

He heard her, with the snow falling around them it was quiet, and the noises she made, while somewhat muffled by the fall, were easy enough to hear. His mouth tightened slightly, but he could put up with the initial reaction.
Until she spoke about it. Then it was impossible to ignore, and for a minute he sputtered before drawing himself up to his full height. Well, puffing out his chest a bit as he already had decent posture, which really only thrust his sweater towards her. "I don't need tricks to fight," he groused, and immediately went on the offensive.
The only warning he gave was raising his fists into a fighting stance before his fist jabbed out toward his friend. He had to admit it felt good to feel the connection, soothing his ruffled feathers rather nicely.

He didn't have to pull himself up to make it obvious that he was a looming creature. At best, she came up to his collar bone on a good day, so really, he looked impressive as is.
But that sweater.
Feeling the pressure of his fist connect her, she made a muted noise in both surprise, not used to him pulling the punches too fast. Guess his pride was pretty strong, and she wasn't helping by poking it with jokes. But the spar was on, and she turned to give him a quick punch, trying to push him back a bit so she had space to dodge, if needed.
"There are not many who are sizable next to you, yes."

Damage: His pride. (But 3.)

She barely deflected before he could really do permanent damage to her - apparently apples were the thing, and ******** serious. Okay, she learnt. No more about apples.
She had landed on her rear end, but it was kind of a save on her behalf. Sighing outwards, she stood up again, going to dash off the dirt on her dress, before puffing up. "Hard work and determination usually assist with that too!" She piped up, but he was stubborn about fruits.
Clearing her throat, she tried to ground herself again, before deciding if he was going to pull his punches, she would too, and went for the spot between his collarbones, hoping to weaken him a little.
