✯✯✯DTI RP Rules✯✯✯

Follow Gaia TOS and Guild rules that may or may not be included in these.

RP Rules

1. You can not use any Tamer or Character from any Digimon Season, Game, manga, ect. in plots without the RP Mod or Vice Captain permission, that includes all titled Digimon. If you are caught using a character from any of these, you will be given 1 warning. After that, you will be banned.

2. You must show respect to all other members. (No ignoring, annoying, begging or cursing other people. Even if they not good at RPing or if they are too good at Role Playing.)

3. If you're IC (In Character) and your character wishes to take or steal from another character, you must first either tell them via OOC (out of character) or via PM. This must be done before you post the action.

4. NO killing other players character, unless you have their permission. Evidence of the mutual agreement must be posted in the Killed Characters Topic. Here
5. The use of weapons in the RP is strongly prohibited. Things like small pocket knives and other such tools for survival are, however, allowed, but not for survival as in fighting.

6. DO NOT GOD-MOD! No one is above this rule, no mod, tamer, or member.

7. If you speak in OOC(Out Of Character) you must use ((,))

8. When RPing, it is suggested that you post in third person.

9. If you're using multiple Characters, identify which character is speaking by assigning a different color to each. And be consistent.

10. Do not use ** to perform actions. Please write literately. We don't expect much, just use "quotation marks" when your character is speaking, and leave action and other writing in normal text. For thoughts, and thinking dialog, use italics

11. No double posting with the same character in a group arc.

Forum Rules

1. Do not post topics in this forum without permission. Topics in this forum are Locations, not separated stories. I do not want to see, "New Digimon story! Accepting~Now!" Posted in this forum. Unique and Miscellaneous RPs, even if they are Digimon based, are not for this forum.

2. When Moving from one Location, to another, add at the end of your exit post, [[Somebody - Exit - To New Location]](If multiple people are exiting, all must be listed. Separated by comas)
If you are entering a new Location, add to the beginning of the entry post, [[Enter, Somebody, From Last Location]]

3. Last but not least, you must create a profile before you may RP in this part of the guild! Create one here, this is different than your tamer profile!

Digivolution Rules

1 You must own all digimon you use in the RP, as you unlock spots for new partners place their guild art in your profile so we know who is on your registered team.If you would like to change out a partner please message a rp mod letting them know of the update. If the art is not placed in the profile itself, there is no way for me to know if you truly own the Digimon in the Guild. I will issue 1 warning, and if it is not added to over a reasonable amount of time, the profile will be deleted. (Note: I don't care if it's in your signature. It isn't hard. Put it in your profile anyway.)

2 Non-Guild Owned Digimon, cannot be used in an RP. If you are caught using a Digimon partner you have not acquired through the guild, you will be warned once, and if you continue to break this rule, you will be banned.

3 The exception to rule 2 are NPCs(Non-player-characters). Some examples would be a wild Digimon rampaging in a forest, or shop owner in Network City. These can be used freely, and do not require approval. However, NPCs, are not to be controlled as you would your Digimon partner. Keep that in mind.

4 Certian Digimon require specific upgrades or items to be used in the rp, if you have a question check the list below. If you use one of these Digimon without the item needed you will be warned once. Continual use will cause us to take further action.

✯✯✯Explaining the Game✯✯✯

RP System

We here in DTI run a points based Arc System, these points are then used to upgrade your Character's and Digimon's abilities in the rp. A full run down on how the system works can be found here but to put it simply you will start an arc either by yourself or with other tamers and you will get points depending on the difficulty of the arc as well as things like the number or posts and character developement.

Once you have aquired these points you can then spend them here at the Digivice Store. Our team of engenieers will then upgrade your device with your purchased customizations including things like extra partner slots, quick travel and even the color of the digivice itself. These upgrades will need to be installed to use them inside the RP.

You will be required to keep track of these upgrades and points in your D-Terminal (RP Profile)

Digivolving

Digivolving is now a part of the Digivices upgrades. You will only be able to use 1 rookie Digimon until you buy the upgrades required to Digivolve to higher levels.

You also must have the art for all the Digimin you would like to Digivolve to and the art must be in your D-Terminal (RP Profile).

You will be warned any time you Digivolve without the proper upgrades.

You do not need an upgrade to de-digivolve, use a fresh or In-training levek or to hatch a Tama. Those features all come standard on any digivice.

Your digimon do not have to follow the lines they were obtained in, each digi line registered must just have one Digimon per level unless otherwise specified.

Certian Digvolutions including Mega, Super Ultimate and any unofficial Titled Digimon wil require special items along with the upgardes to be obtained, it's hard to get to those higher levels.

✯✯✯Tips✯✯✯

Want to find a Tamer or two to do an arc with? Just check the latest posts in the Arc Team Request page, otherwise you could PM any active Tamers if they'd be willing to RP with you.
Here's a few things to avoid when RPing with others:

-The people who never miss a single shot no matter how hard it is. Dont do it, it is annoying! (Aimbotters).

-The people who can't be hit or just shrug it off, they are some of the worst (god-moders).

-The people who never are without a weapon and ammo, we dont even allow weapons in this RP forum (idkfa-ers).

-The people who have absurdly strong powers (twinks).

-The people who 'balance' their characters by having an irrelevant weakness and massive powers (min-maxers).

-The people who use Out Of Character knowledge to get an edge (Miss Cleos).

-The people who do things in hindsight (McFlys).

-The people who RP other people's characters for them (Puppetmasters).

-The people who RP completely irrelevant things (Daydreamers).

-The people who RP actions and time against others while the others aren't present OOC, but are IC (Shoe elves).

-The people who ignore or alter RPs that they don't like (Revisionists).

-The people who RP an absurdly time consuming sequence occuring between other people's actions (Speedhackers).

-The people who play as characters that are completely impossible (Oxymorons).

-The people who arbitrarily declare themselves the winner with instant death attacks (Baghdad Bobbits).

-The people who've taken actions before they start RPing (Gaseous Snakes).

-The people who pull-in elements that were approved in an unrelated RP (Augustines).

-The people who use an existing persona and only RP them when it helps (Batmen).

-The people who alter their character as needed for the situation (Zoicite).

-The people who declare their IC topics safe, but readily attack others (NIMBYs).

-The people who gain abilities as they need them with no prior exposure (Trinities).

-The people who pick-up things that spawn from seemingly nowhere (Quake-ers)
