This section directly under the market district contains a newly drained religious building, now decrepit from both age and flooding. Mushrooms of all fantastical color and size ranges flourish here, making a trek into the darker regions impossible to reach without some sort of breathing apparatus or intravenous drip containing several hours of antidote. The intersection at the base of the small waterfall which acts as a sort of stairs to the markets above, has two main ways to go: to the left, where the run down cathedral is, and to the right, which turns into a darker tunnel leading away from the sunlight. Further down into the dark tunnels, the river flows to an unknown location.

[x] Inka had safely reached the bottom of the drainage grate - the leather gloves covered in dampness and slime, but otherwise protecting his hand from touching anything directly. Mushrooms of all variety dotted the area, the light from the sun above filling the area from the wide-open grate. Making his way in further, he found himself following steps, leading down, deeper. The water-proof boots he brought provided grip, but he felt somewhat clumsy in them, slowing his descent. When the path widened, he looked up and red eyes widened at the sight of a building, decrepit, green, and beautiful. He walked towards the building, hoping to find something that may give him answers. Heck even more questions may be all he needed to help Syy stop the crazy voodoo that plagued the village.

The sun that Inka thought was beaming down on him inside this dank place was in fact the light from many numerous patches of glowing fungi. During the day, some light streams would illuminate it better, but down here, a twilight was being pushed away by the fungi itself. What was causing this mutation from the same mushroom that caused the above ground food/water menace was quite perplexing. The stairs in front of Inka went up to a small platform which split into two perpendicular shorter sets. The whole ensemble then wrapped around to where four dark archways hung over ancient wooden doors, each existing under the giant cathedral windows. Each door was inlaid with some strange glowing substance that gently pulsated blue out from the door's cracks. Having been aged to a significant degree, though closed, they were considered open enough to let a small breeze through, and thus, able to be opened. Off to Inka's right, down where the waterfalls drained to, a light scratching could be heard, heading away from the open intersection to the darker depths.

[x] As Inka moved further away from the opening he realised the light was actually being made by the mushrooms themselves, illuminating the cavern. He instinctively shrunk away from those 'shrooms, perplexed by them. Standing by the doors, Inka was inspecting them carefully, the glow their very innards seemed to emit causing hesitation. He didn't know how the blue glow would react to being moved. Before Inka could try anything, his stillness had allowed him the sound of light scratching. He turned his head toward the sound, red eyes focusing on the other path that had split from this one. The light wasn't as strong, hiding what dwelled. Red eyes narrowed, a hand moved to rest on his dagger, Inka began moving towards the shadows with careful, quiet steps. Buildings can wait, they wont run from him. But whatever was making that noise may be lost forever if he didn't act. He tried to avoid slippery smooth stones and squelching piles of mud and moss as he made his way to the shadows.

Sebastian would move like a shadow, his life sign lowered and even his biological functions quited. He moved absolutely silently through the pipe, taking in the sights and and visuals.
As expected, Sebastian found inka, moving rather clumsy in the mass of the protective gear. Doing it right...better safe then sorry

Clearly visible in the darkness, and framed by a light glow further ahead of it, a very skeletal woman slowly walked away from where Inka and Sebastian were. Her long flowing hair swished back and forth at a length most of the way down from her exceedingly tall height. Where her robes, feet, and demonic appearing fingers touched, the surface emitted unadulterated magma, as well as that hideous scratching sound. To the cool surroundings, this woman's appearance was death incarnate. Her mere touch burned away the fungus as if it should not be there, her skirt boiling away the rushing waters below her staggeringly tall frame. How she had existed in here when it was flooded was also something to consider. As she passed through a new patch of mushrooms, burning them as she went, haunting vocals of some long forgotten song reverberated in the below ground cavern tunnel.

[x] Red eyes narrowed as he neared the source of the sound, his pupils adjusting to allow him to peer into the shadows. Eventually a light appeared ahead, framing what Inka had first thought was a stalagtight, illuminated by mushrooms and fractured. But it was moving. Inka paused, crouching low, watching in fascination and awe as the skeletal figure moved, her very touch and presence burning away the moisture and fungi. Inka could only describe the sight as beautiful - the sheer heat she must be emitting... How could she have survived this place? He wondered, transfixed by the sight. This place would have been full of water not too long ago. I wonder if even the spores have had any effect on her. Surely not, otherwise she wouldn't be killing them. The Chuunin blinked, hearing faint voices over the sounds of fiery, strangely-shaped fingers, clawing over stone. ... singing? Inka pondered, still unaware he was being followed.

In typical creepy nature, Sebastian closed the distance and was now right next to inka, although even now he would have a hard time making the jiongu out, like there was an optical illusion playing tricks on his eyes. His voice was more like an echoy wind rather then a speech, incapable if resonating even in this closed off location. The medic used his senses to overlooking every biological system this women possessed, and could even estimate the temperature and reaction that was happening between her and the fungus. Was the fungus allergic to heat/fire?

[x] Inka flinched, hand drawing the dagger out as he turned towards the new arrival, an arm raised defensively. At the sight of Sebastion, he swallowed, surpressing any noise that was threatening to escape him at that moment. With a hushed sigh, he turned back to the lady. Lady Magma. "I don't know." He breathed, voice sounding far louder compared to Sebastion's. "Only just found her. Never heard of anything like it." He praised. He glanced to Sebastion, red eyes taking in the stange man's appearance. "Syy's been needing an antidote mass produced. I take it you've been on top of that?" He asked. "I've only got one dose left myself." Inka admitted, eyes remaining on the fiery creature before them. "Makes sense, though." He nodded his head to the fiery trails next to them, devoid of moisture and 'shrooms. "Just dry 'em out. All we need is to Bi-Carb the entire village and we're set." He joked, referring to Bicarbonate Soda being able to soak out moisture, even from carpets. Inka used it plenty of times when food was thrown, or Minowa threw up as a baby, onto the floors. Despite the joke, there was no humour in his hushed tones, watching Lady Magma walk further away from them.

"Oooh, what's that?" He appeared slightly to the left of Sebastian, trying to be equally as quiet as his intrepid pair of new-found friends as they watched a... Well, it was a gigantic skeleton woman made of fire. She wasn't doing much of anything, save giving the fungus a real what-for with her terribly hot fire-hands. That, and singing a strange, almost haunting, song. He couldn't quite place it, but that didn't seem to matter.
"Heat? Huh. Maybe they just hate terrible cover-songs." Fearing he may be taken seriously, for once, he backpedaled. "I'm kidding, of course. Seems heat does the trick. Some kind of exothermic reaction, something relatively benign? Get some vinegar or hydrochloric acid and we're all set, you know? Wait, you think that'll work?" He was whispering, and he wasn't exactly sure if his new-found friends were even listening, but he wanted to think out loud and be somewhat helpful. Besides, being left behind was stupid and lame. "But what if it's an extreme reaction, we'd need a serious conflagration. That doesn't seem... Viable. Only way to find out is to throw some vinegar or something on a mushroom." He shrugged, mostly to himself. He didn't have any vinegar on him, but he could probably find some back in the markets somewhere. It went without saying that he had all but forgotten about the fire-woman and her crazy singing, though he was still aware of her.
He was mostly doing what he could to keep from speaking in a tone above a whisper. He didn't want to end up on the wrong side of a flaming fist full of mushrooms.

Sebastian's vision would determine that the fungus exploded into its fire death at around two hundred Celsius, while the contact site from the creature to anywhere else fluctuated from minimally thirteen hundred Celsius on up to twenty-two hundred Celsius. That was how she was able to cleanly slice through the tunnel walls so easily, and why all of the water around her vaporized. At such a temperature, even if the tunnel was fully flooded, Lady Magma (as coined by Inka) would never have even noticed. Reaching a cross-shaped intersection, Lady Magma took the right turn.
The straight route was packed solid with the glowing version of the fungus, blocking it off completely, several meters ahead of them. To the left, water lapped at another staircase's leading step down, cutting off that part of the tunnel. To the right, where Lady Magma had gone, many other footsteps echoed, not having any part of the Lady's own movements. That way was also incredibly dark, save for the harsh glow being emitted from the tall woman. No viable light source other than for her could be seen that way, even as the group's vision adjusted for the lowlight conditions.
The rest of Sebastian's analyzation revealed an otherwise completely normal shinobi, of very high caliber. It was highly likely that she didn't even consider those stalking her to be a threat, since she was singing so much. It just so happened that this woman was very tall and skinny, wore long fingery gloves, some kinda of chakra material for a dress, and a strange ebony facial covering. Whether it was in everyone's best interests to attack an unknown entity, or wait for the mysterious footsteps beyond Lady Magma to pass her and intercept the team would be up to them. There was also the building back at the entrance to check out, if they so chose.

Sebastian would offer the evidence he had just discovered back to the little group that had seemingly gathered. Via use of his special technique, the medic knew that if there was to be anyone to stalk down this individual without being caught, it would be him. He would speak again, his voice still more of a Wind whisper than anything else.
"I'll follow the lady. You guys go investigate the building. I know I won't be caught. "
Sebastian would follow the path of the lady, making sure to keep a good distance between him and her projected position. His ability to blend to the surroundings would make his ability to track and observe the lady all the more capable.

[x] Inka scowled, not liking the idea of his own search being taken over by... that individual of all people, and even more so in being told not to follow the entrancing woman... But freakin' orders by a superior (Urgh) were orders from a superior. With a soft sigh being hidden under his gas mask, he turned and grabbed Shou's arm, intent on making sure that if he had to follow orders then he ain't following them alone. "Shou," he spoke, motioning back the way they came.

-----ғollowing a stairway leading underground--what were stairs doing in a storm drain--I took the steps carefully. The boots I'd received were spiked, which would help with the slick sludge likely at the bottom, but did little good on the decent. Thankfully, I reached the bottom without slipping. The path to the right led to darkness, but the left, with sunlight streaming down from the streets above, was what caught my interest. An ancient building, some sort of temple or cathedral perhaps, given the massive, intricate windows. Inka was nowhere in sight, but that hardly mattered right now. Glancing over my shoulder, I approached it, avoiding as much of the strange glowing mushrooms as I could. -----A staircase split into two leading up to the several entrances of the cathedral, where the doors pulsed with a soft blue light. Almost like a heartbeat. Strange... Ascending the stairs with a hand on the hilt of the blade at my right hip, I warily advanced toward the doors. A breeze came from the crack of the door, ruffling my jacket slightly. I would have missed it if it weren't for that minor detail. The only problem was opening the doors. I didn't know what caused the glow, and therefore didn't know if it was safe to touch. Or the same thing that happened with the rest of the doors in the village would happen here, which would be interesting, since we had no idea what happened here last. We would never get answers if no one tried, though. So, with a deep breath, I tried to pry open the door.

"I'll bet you ten dollars he gets caught." He wasn't as upset as Inka probably was over losing what was probably the more exciting option to the crazy weird guy but there was only so much they could do. If they all followed and one of them stepped on a twig, bam, they were all cinders. If Sebastian was willing to make that sacrifice, well, Shou wouldn't take that away from him. He wrenched his arm from Inka, not at all comfortable with being pulled anywhere, really. "Yes, yes. Let's go solve a mystery."
He would have much rather followed the fiery woman. He was pretty sneaky and kind of cold.
