After feeding it one particular application form, the acceptance bin had disappeared and reappeared a total of fourteen times, each time in a different spot. By the time it stopped, Ms. Selene had climbed as far deep under the desk as possible, traumatized by the chomping teeth that continuously showed up too near her head whenever it reappeared.

Personality: Carlos likes to observe, watch and think about what is going on around him. He doesn't actually like to do anything, except maybe take a nap.
He loves riddles, but will rarely tell them. He just likes to listen and quietly observe the answers play out. He does however had a small collection of them. So when he deems it necessary, he will tell a few, usually childish ones. He has little motivation to collect more. (Another point of concern by his family's standards.)
When Carlos does talk he speaks in nonsense and riddles. He finds it difficult to communicate sometimes with his fellow students as they just have a hard time understanding him. He had taken to telling students the answers to his riddles just to smooth things along. Sometimes he sings too.
Carlos does not like it when people don't guess the riddles he does tell but will eventually cave and give the answer.
When interested Carlos will stalk his point of interest and watch, but rarely actually approaches. He does not like to be directly looked at. Direct attention is not ok and he will attempt to fade into the background whenever he gets nervous.
If grabbed and picked up, he tends to just rag doll, having lived with many siblings this is generally a good idea, as play will only encourage further entrapment. He will stare pathetically up at you and twitch his tail, before finally attempting to wiggle free. (Watch out those claws are sharp) However he does like petting, sooo... it depends on what side of the mood you get and how rough you are.
Carlos does absolutely love being carried an cuddles though. He misses his family. So if you seem friendly in the least bit be prepared to have kitty in your lap.
Cheshires are cats spirits that tend to be mischievous and playful, known for their grins. They are an abundant species that may work together to confuse their victims. Where there is one cat there are generally many more somewhere unseen and will trade off who is seen and who is not, seeming to vanish and reappear in another place.
Generally they teach and know about philosophy and riddles. They collect them as an art form that is well loved.
Culturally speaking it is customary to introduce yourself with a riddle. As they get older the introduction riddle may change.
Natural Ability: Hand illusions-a pair of hand like illusions. these limbs work as if real limbs but tend to fade in and out of tangibility. It can be tricky making them work sometimes.
Natural Ability: (saving for year two) Illusions- Carlos like many Cheshire cats can create illusions. His are stripped blue. They are currently very see through, but considering he himself is a spirit it make for a good seemingly vanishing trick. Really it just stripes making things confusing. The illusions fade after a while.
FEAR Ability: (swift strikes) Kitten Brigade - Carlos summons kittens illusions and they all swarm and attack you with their little kitty claws. Prepare for eminence suffering.

Carlos has a nice little room full of cat toys and a bed he can sleep on. He doesn't need much else.
There is a window he can look out of and watch the students pass on the ground bellow.
Somewhere inside is a brilliant red feather from a Siren called Michael.
Carlos has a little red tea cup with a crack in it.

Carlos comes from a giant family. There are 9 and counting kittens his parents have.
Kara is the sister closest to his age. She is a bit rambunctious and generally will drag him around, and make sure he gets something to eat once in a while. when the food some in the kittens start grabbing.

I really want to keep in line with the Alice in wonder land themes that go around Cheshire cats. Below is a list of idea, but you can always add more, or simplify things. and please feel free to TiH it up a bit more.
Pose: Head tilt Broken doll pose Carlos is both super lazy and super excitable you can draw from either or both aspects. If his mouth is showing it needs to be in a grin. preferentially with lots of teeth. I like random bits vanishing Preferably floating.
