Dante had set up a trap over night in a forest close by.he seen a harpie flying around for a about a week and maybe it hold some magic powers he can use for testing so now he heading to the trap see if it work "it just a cage with meat...maybe should use something bit more magic like a magic gem seal?" he asked himself

Kimiko was flying through the air smelling meat. She was young and very smart but starving as there was a shortage of food. When the coast was clear, she came over to the trap and had carefully removed the meat and flew off before Dante got there, meat in her mouth. She was eating it in a tree nearby as quietly as she could. She smiled finally having a full belly. She had outsmarted nearly every trap Dante had laid out. There were times when an animal had gotten to it before she could though, so those were the traps she ignored for the food but would free the animal with her magic since it was just a young thing. Once she finished her food, she took the rest to her little baby sister who ate it hungrily. She was in charge since her baby 'sister's' mother abandoned her. Once the little Harpy finished her food, Kimiko held her and let her snuggled up to her. Kimiko smiled down at the little one. Then she climbed down out of the tree to go for a walk with the little one in her arms. She sat in a cave as it had started to look like rain and held the little one close, starting to fall asleep herself.

Dante seen another failed trap and had a plan ready for this one. he seen markings in the ground leading over to the cave and put up a magic trap that she could not see . it would work if there only one of them if not it will trap the weakest one. sitting in the shadows with his wand out ready for the right time as it keep on raining hiding his smell from those inside of the cave. the forest had change from when he move it more things of magic have been seen unlike before like a dragon flying around the hills

After a while, Kimiko fell asleep for the night. She kept herself on guard though. But when she woke up, she noticed that Melody, her sister, was looking at something. "What's the matter Mel? Something there?" She asked as Melody nodded and went over to her. "Sissy....." Melody said in a worried way going over Kimiko and snuggling up to her. Kimiko smiled saying "Don't worry Mel. I'm not going anywhere." She then stood up going over to the entrance. Melody was learning to fly and wasn't exactly doing very well. then she got trapped and held melody close to her not wanting her to get hurt. "Sissy!" Melody yelled as she got scared and started to cry. "Shhh. Don't worry sweetie. I'm here and I won't let anyone hurt you nor take you from me." She said calmly even though she knew they were in danger. "Who's there!" She yelled holding melody close in a protective way.

Dante walked out of the shadows and wave his wand to knocked Kimiko away " a young one...that should do much better for testing"he reach down picking up Melody and sealing her inside of a magic gem "don't need you clawing at my face" he then turn to face Kimiko. with a heartless look on his face "love is for the weak"he said before starting to head home with the gem following right after holding his new prize. he is going to kill two birds with one stone. use one as bite to get other one to follow

"You hurt one hair on her head and trust me you'll regret it." She said as Harpies are known for getting their revenge no matter what the cost and Kimiko was no exception. While he was carrying her, she managed to get Melody's gem back and hid her promising to do whatever it took to get her sister back. Tears fell from her eyes onto the gem as she hugged it. Melody was shaking inside of the gem crying and screaming as loud as she could. Kimiko could sense Melody's distress and hid her inside of her breast pocket knowing that he wouldn't dare touch her without protection. But even if he did use precautions, Kimiko was known as the spell dispatcher, meaning she could prevent any spell. She just wanted a challenge for once. She'd been caught before but that man died within one day.

Dante only know the basic form of the spell and it slowly started to drain Melody's life force away and for every hour that passed came close to death for the young harpie and if anything happened to Dante the soul inside of the gem will be trade for the casher. meaning if Kimiko try to kill Dante it would only lead to the death of Melody. mages love to cheat in any fight and so after finding out the gem was gone wait in the forest drinking tea knowing she will be there in time

Kimiko had already countered that part of the spell. The gem was still in her breast pocket hidden in her clothing. Once they were at Dante's home, Kimiko refused to tell the whereabouts of Melody's gem. As long as Melody's gem was near her, Melody's life force was safe and the gem was totally useless. Melody was back at their harpy's clan's nesting area getting help. Kimiko's mother was holding her close while the others went to find Kimiko, who cared not for her own life but for melody's. Kimiko was thrashing around inside of the net trying to make it impossible for Dante to touch her.

the human races are down to a low numbers from the attack of the Red Queen and only a few towns are left in the world. he hold out his hands shocked her with lighting. to save his people like so many other mages had followed down the dark path maybe to rebuild the human race once more or give it one last fighting breath" you harpies help the Red Queen. send the world into chaos enslaving the once great elves then to the hunting of the humans"Dante don't have any family left in the world as they are now undead soldiers for the Red Queen

"My clan never joined the red queen! We could never join her side as we don't believe in her ways! As such we are in hiding! You have no right to do this to anyone! Not even my little sister!" She said as she held her left wing. It was hurt now. She winced as she could no longer fly until it healed. She glared at Dante her feather's ruffled and a scared look in her eyes as she glared at him. Melody was safe with Kimiko's mother. The male Harpy's were looking for her being led by her father.

Dante kicked Kimiko in the side and and stand looking down at her with a abyss inside of his eyes "you all follow the same goddess and now she is on the side of the Red Queen. all harpies are liars"the point of doing something right and wrong had change for the humans and now anything go. he seen the clan that Kimiko first hand attack many humans on the roads and seen the marking on her body of the Red Queen "do the Red Queen have any right to kill every last human on this world"

Kimiko had lost a lot of blood now. "I guess everyone was right about humans......they are all the same.....Brutes and thieves." Then she passed out from blood loss. Her body was now bruised, battered and she had a broken wing. She was shivering because of the cold from blood loss. Tears were in her eyes as her hair pin shaped like a heart was barely hanging onto her blonde blood covered hair.

Dante had taken her into the his testing room and put her inside of a cage. he use some of his healing magic to stop the bleeding. on the walls are two maps before the Red Queen and one showing a play by play of the world right now. each town is showed as a blue gem and one of them is starting to turn gray "no....not there"he fall down onto his knees watching it lost color "100.000....it's hopeless" he said hitting the ground with his fist. another two are starting to become gray
