Name: Margaret "Meg" - Surname Irrelevant -
Age: 21
Bio: Meg appears to be a quiet and meek individual, but isn't nearly so innocent as she initially appears. Despite her efforts to live an 'ordinary' life, she's found herself deeply entangled within the criminal world - her every day filled with misdirections, lies, and dangers of all sort. It is surprising that, for one whom paranoia suits well, to show trust and charity for a complete stranger...

Thunder sounded somewhere in the distance, though it was barely audible over the pouring rain. High above the city, a helicopter was attempting to fight through the storm, shaking from the rough winds and pounding rain. It was a military grade helicopter, the sort with no doors for quick deployment, with several official looking men and soldiers in uniform inside, plus one odd individual. All he wore were a pair of black pants and the black straps that bound his arms behind his back, along with an eerie helmet, with long black hair falling down his back. A rough gust of wind sent the copter shaking and bumping in the air with everyone grabbing onto something for stability. All except for the still helmeted individual who took a tumble out into the air in a fall that would kill most men.

Had the weather been better and the sky been clearer, any number of bystanders would have seen the man falling out of the sky and landing in an alley. Good or bad luck to the contrary though, he came to on top of a dumpster, now dented by the impact it sustained. His helmet cracked, a confused eye blinked through a hole in the helmet as he became aware of his surroundings. He sat up, the remains of his helmet falling away, and struggled when he realized he couldn't move his arms. His mind was a blank, and all he could do was look around and up at the stormy skies above wondering how he got here. Finding no answers in the rain, he slipped down off the dumpster and hobbled out into the street, cold and wet, in the hopes of someone being able to help him. He didn't make it far though, stumbling and slipping in a puddle that was deceptively deep, causing him to fall on his face in the middle of the sidewalk.

{bleeeeh sorry for my shitpost}

A young woman noticed the stranger's plight, and despite the pouring rain, did not hesitate to approach the male and offer her hand in assistance. While holding it out for him to grab, if he so wished, she asked, "Hey, you alright?" Her voice was light in pitch and feminine, yet the way she used it sounded almost masculine and blunt. If one were to look her over, the first thing one might notice could be her sleepy violet eyes - contacts perhaps. Or maybe it would be the pallor of her skin, possibly even the shaggy maroon colored bob that shaped her face so well. Her expression, despite the vague concern in her eyes, was otherwise quite stoic.

He slowly raised his head to look up at his savior from behind sopping wet bangs. "Can you....help me?" A million questions swam in his mind as he shifted onto his knees, unable to accept the friendly hand due to the way his arms were bound. A million questions, but this seemed the most likely to get an answer. She offered her hand to a stranger, so that was a good start, right? "I don't know...." He lowered his eyes and trailed off. Didn't know what? Far too many things that could be satisfied with a single sentence. "...anything. My head's just....empty."

The woman briefly contemplated offering to escort him to the nearest hospital, but for reasons she'd rather not think of at the moment, it didn't seem prudent. Then again, associating with a total stranger like this probably wasn't prudent either. With her brows furrowed in mild frustration at the situation, she then gently asked, "Empty? Not insultin' you or anything, but does your head hurt at all? Like you hit it on something?" She gingerly pulled her arm back, wondering just why he had his arms so oddly bound as he did. Everything about this situation just seemed off, yet for reasons unknown to her, she couldn't muster the will to walk away. "Also, if you...uhm...don't mind my asking, why are your arms tied behind your back?"

{Surprisingly pleased with how this turned out, considering this was done over the iPad.}

He shook his head. "I just woke up on top of a dumpster like this." he nodded back in the direction of the alley he came out of. "I don't know how I got there or why I'm bound like this." he looked back over his shoulder at his arms, struggling against the straps that held them. They looked like they were made not from leather, but some other stronger artificial material, as though whoever did the deed was worried run of the mill leather wouldn't do the job. "My head doesn't hurt, it just feels...empty. I don't know how else to say it." he said as he finally made the effort of standing upright, the pouring rain plastering his long black hair to his back.

Despite her better judgement, the lady reluctantly offered, "Well, why don't you come with me back to my place? It might be nice to get out of the rain, and maybe something to eat if you're up for it." He looked like he could use the help, and all things considered, he probably couldn't hurt her with his arms bound like that unless he was one of those kick-happy nut jobs. Then again, why would he be bound if he weren't dangerous? Wait, he could just be a forgetful gimp. Don't gimps normally wear ball gags, though...? Wait, no, bad train of thought. She probably shouldn't make such lewd jokes, mentally or otherwise, if his situation is as serious as her gut guesses it to be.

He stared at her for a moment before blinking curiously a few times. "Oh, yeah, food would probably be good." He didn't feel hungry though, and the way he said it made it sound like eating was just a thing he knew people did, rather than actually being hungry or eating being a necessity to life. "Thank you for this by the way." A sweet and innocent smile brightened up his face.

She was a little taken back at the smile he gave her, not expecting him to react so thankfully - despite his otherwise well off demeanor. "No problem." Flashing the man a subtle, almost timid smile of her own, she began heading home once more - motioning for the strange fellow to follow if he so wished.

Beyond his thank you, he didn't seem to realize that most people might consider themselves a burden had they been in his position. But he said nothing more on the matter and just followed along like an obedient puppy, looking around and in windows like a child on a field trip to some unfamiliar location.

{Sorry for the exclusive OOC post, but what now? She lead him back home with no trouble and character building? They get mugged on the way and s**t hit the fan? Or...what?}

((Back home for character building I'd say. I'll get things in the background going and then yeah, someone tries to mug them later down the line and s**t will go down))

{Alrighty. ^u^}

It wasn't long until they arrived at an out of the way, almost rundown looking building. The woman looked somewhat ashamed to be living in such a place, but said nothing - and if he were to get smart with her on the condition of the apartment complex, not the he would, he could always find help elsewhere. But alas, she needed to stop worrying about things that might never be. With a tentative smile she held open the door to her apartment upon their arrival, waiting patiently for her guest to enter first.

He walked inside, not caring that he was dripping all over the place, and then proceeded to shake his head out like a wet dog, sending even more water across her apartment. And then he started wandering around and just looking at everything, like a child seeing his friend's home for the first time and taking in every little detail.
