I sadly don't have any pics, but my fiancé and I dressed up as pirates! YAR!!! ... in that we wore pirate shirts and tied bandanas around our heads. XP Oh well. We handed out candy at my sister's place, but it was raining and we hardly had any kids come to the door. Actually, my sister has this mummy prop that has a motion sensor and starts making noise and moves its eyes back and forth when you walk in front of it. It was a little TOO convincing! One little boy refused to come up the stairs because of it! Poor boo! XD

Neuneu Pics or it didn't happen. Can't do pictures at work. It would violate HIPAA laws.

I was going to dress up as Sailor Mars to pass out candy, but by the time I got home from work I was too tired. If we have a dress-up day at school next year I'll definitely be going as Arthur.

We spent halloween hiding in the living room with all the lights and the porchlight turned off so no one would ring our bell. Apparently just having your porchlight off is no longer a clear message to modern parents and kids that we have no candy, because last year I turned just the porchlight off, but left the living room lights on since we were expecting company and people knocked and rang the bell all night.
I am enjoying my slow transformtion into being the neighborhood shut in. The day after Halloween I thought I'd let the cats out front for a bit so I open the door, walk outside and lo and behold there are clipboarded Jesus sales representatives at my neighbors front door which being in a town house, is like...10 feet from my door.
I bet I looked like a deer in headlights. I felt my eyes go wide, they smiled and said hello. I returned the greeting, scurried quickly back inside and shut and locked the door and hoped they wouldn't ring or knock on my door. They skipped my house.
So yeah, Halloween was just a regular Friday night for me, except spent in the dark with only the glow of my computer monitor and the companionship of my equally hermit boyfriend and fat cats.
