Day 1
Jehovah El Emeth

Verse: Into Your hand I commit my spirit;
 You have ransomed me, O Lord (Jehovah), God (El) of truth (Emeth). Psalm 31:5

Meaning: LORD God of Truth.

Prayer:  Thanksgiving

Jehovah El Emeth - thank you for the perfect purity of truth. Thank you that there is no confusion in truth. Truth is your viewpoint on a matter, and thank you that you have not sought to hide your truth or make it difficult for me to grasp. Your truth is readily available to me in your Word. Thank you for giving me the ability to read, Jehovah El Emeth, and for giving me the ability to discern your truth from what the world tries to paint as truth, but rather is a lie from the devil. Thank you for the power of your truth that makes life’s choices easier to make when aligned under your truth.

Day 2
NAME OF GOD: Jehovah El Gemuwal

Verse: For the destroyer is coming against her, against Babylon,
 And her mighty men will be captured,
Their bows are shattered;
 For the Lord (Jehovah) is a God (El) of recompense (Gemuwal),
 He will fully repay. Jeremiah 51:56

Meaning: The LORD God of recompense.

Prayer: Confession

Jehovah El Gemuwal - forgive me for when I try to take my own revenge. Forgive me for when I fear that you won’t. Forgive me for those times when I am angry and fearful because I am being bullied or wronged, and I forget to trust in your great name Jehovah El Gemuwal. You see all. You know all. You leave no stone unturned. I don’t need to go and tell everyone else when I am wronged, rather I only need to look to you because you will repay. You will not be mocked. Forgive me for forgetting this far too often.

Day 3
NAME OF GOD: Jehovah Elohim Tsaba

Verse: You, O Lord (Jehovah) God (Elohim) of hosts (Tsaba), the God of Israel,
 Awake to punish all the nations; 
Do not be gracious to any who are treacherous in iniquity. Psalm 59:5

Meaning: LORD God of Hosts.

Prayer: Thanksgiving

Jehovah Elohim Tsaba - thank you that you are the Lord God of hosts. Thank you that you have made your strength available to me through my relationship with you. I’m grateful to you for each and every time in my past that you have shown up to right a wrong, or to defend me in a situation where I had been wronged. I have seen your powerful hand in history and I trust I will continue to see it in the days ahead. Thank you for your presence as I face trials and troubles in my life.

Day 4
NAME OF GOD: Jehovah Elohim Yeshua

Verse: O LORD (Jehovah), the God (Elohim) of my salvation (Yeshua), 
I have cried out by day and in the night before You. Psalm 88:1

Meaning: LORD God of My Salvation.

Prayer: Adoration

Jehovah Elohim Yeshua - you are the Lord God of my salvation. You reign from heaven and rule on earth. You rescue those in need and bind up the brokenhearted. You save not only eternally but in time and history. You save me from making wrong choices or going down the wrong path through the wisdom of your Word. You save me from living a life of misery and regret through the compassion of your healing forgiveness and grace. You save me from worry knowing that I can trust in you. You save me from confusion when I seek your truth and kingdom agenda in my life. I praise you because you are Jehovah Elohim Yeshua, the Lord God of my salvation.

Day 5
NAME OF GOD: Elohei Chasdi

Verse: O my strength, I will sing praises to You;
 For God is my stronghold, the God (Elohim) who shows me lovingkindness (Chasdi). Psalm 59:17

Meaning: God of my kindness, goodness and faithfulness.

Prayer: Confession

Elohei Chasdi - you are my stronghold and the God who shows me lovingkindness. I confess that I do not always look to you as my stronghold but rather attempt to solve my problems on my own. Forgive me for neglecting to make you the focal point when I am facing various trials or heartache. Forgive me for when I have turned to other means to try and find comfort instead of turning to your faithful kindness and goodness.

Day 6
NAME OF GOD: Elohim Bashamayim

Verse: When we heard it, our hearts melted and no courage remained in any man any longer because of you; for the Lord your God, He is God (Elohim) in heaven (Bashamayim) above and on earth beneath. Joshua 2:11

Meaning: God in Heaven.

Prayer: Adoration

Elohim Bashamayim - God in heaven who sits above and on earth beneath, you are truly the God in the heavens. You are truly the ruler over all of the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand so that no one can stand against you. You are Elohim Bashamayim who drove out the inhabitants of the land before your people Israel and gave it to the descendants of your friend, Abraham. You have likewise gone before me to open doors I could not open on my own, and lead me in a path that I could not have created on my own. I stand before you and lift up your great name Elohim Bashamayim. I lift up my eyes and look to you.

Day 7
NAME OF GOD: El Bethel

Verse: He built an altar there, and called the place El-bethel (El Bethel), because there God had revealed Himself to him when he fled from his brother. Genesis 35:7

Meaning: The God of the House of God.

Prayer: Supplication

El Bethel - abide in me. Set up your home in the very depths of my soul. Let your words dwell in me that I may know and live by them and for you. Reveal to me the sin I must confess and turn from that I may be pure and blameless in your sight. Show me how to best honor you through this temple which you have set up within me. Guide me in my eating habits, in my entertainment choices and even in what I wear so that your house – El Bethel – that is in me may glorify you in all that I do. Grant me the discernment to know how to reflect you well.

Day 8
NAME OF GOD: Elohe Chaseddi

Verse: My God in His lovingkindness will meet me; 
God will let me look triumphantly upon my foes. Psalm 59:10

Meaning: The God of My Mercy.

Prayer: Adoration

Elohe Chaseddi - you know how I am formed. You remember that I am dust. In your lovingkindness, you show mercy. From everlasting to everlasting, your love is with those who fear you, and your righteousness with their children’s children – with those who keep your covenant. Elohe Chaseddi, you showed favor to your people and you have restored the many from captivity. You have forgiven my iniquity and covered all of my sin. In your mercy, you have withdrawn your fury and turned away from your burning anger. Surely your salvation is near to those who fear you that your glory may dwell in our hearts and in our land. Your lovingkindness and truth have met together. Righteousness and peace have kissed each other, and for that I praise your name.

Day 9
NAME OF GOD: El Elohe Yisrael

Verse: Then he erected there an altar and called it El-Elohe-Israel (El Elohe Yisrael). Genesis 33:20

Meaning: The mighty God of Israel.

Prayer: Supplication

El Elohe Yisrael I ask you to grant peace to Israel. I ask you to extend your hand of compassion and mercy into the areas of destruction where men, women and children are being injured and killed, and to rescue them. I pray for your power in the midst of chaos, along with your grace. I lift up to you the government of Israel as well as the military and pray that your kingdom agenda will be made manifest within these entities. Bring the Israelite people to a saving knowledge of you, and protect them as they defend their people. I bless Israel in your name today, El Elohe Yisrael and ask you to bless them as well. And give me your heart for Israel.

Day 10
NAME OF GOD: El Emunah

Verse: Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God (El Emunah), keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. Deuteronomy 7:9

Meaning: The Faithful God.

Prayer: Adoration

El Emunah - your faithfulness convinces me that nothing can ever separate me from your love. Death nor life, fear nor worry – not even the powers of hell can separate me from you because you are faithful. I honor and adore you for the faithfulness that you show me even when I am unfaithful to you. I praise you for keeping your covenant of love not only to me, but also to a thousand generations of those who love you and seek you with all of their hearts, minds and souls. I praise El Emunah for the faithfulness that you revealed in writing and recording your Word for my instruction so that through endurance and the encouragement of your Scripture, I might have hope.

Day 11
NAME OF GOD: Elohei Tehillati

Verse: My God (Elohei), whom I praise (Tehillati), do not remain silent. Psalm 109:1

Meaning: God of my praise.

Prayer: Adoration

Elohei Tehillati - you are my strength and my song. I extol you because you have become my salvation. I give you praise because you are the one, true God. Who is like you among the gods? Who is like you in all of the earth? Who is majestic in holiness, awesome in praises and continually working wonders? Only you Elohei Tehillati. You are deserving of my praise, and my adoration. Great are you, God, and greatly to be praised. You are to be feared above all else. I ascribe to you the glory that is due your name and come before you in humble prayer to worship you, my Elohei Tehillati.

Day 12
NAME OF GOD: El Hakabodh

Verse: The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory (El Hakabodh) thunders,
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters. Psalm 29:3

Meaning: The God of Glory.

Prayer: Confession

El Hakabodh - you are a jealous God who does not share your glory with others. Pardon my sins for when I turn my eyes to humanity thinking that this person or that person was the one who delivered me from a particular trial. Rather, it was you who used them to bring about your intended deliverance. Forgive my short-sightedness in not always seeing your glory through your creation, your works, your word and your Spirit.

Day 13
NAME OF GOD: Elohim Chayim

Verse: This is how you will know that the living God (Elohim Chayim) is among you and that he will certainly drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites and Jebusites. Joshua 3:10

Meaning: The Living God.

Prayer:  Thanksgiving

Elohim Chayim - thank you for being active and engaged in my everyday life. You are not a God who sits far off removed and distant having no say in what happens to me. Just as you drove out the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites and Jebusites from before the Israelites – you are alive and moving in the situations of my life as well. Thank you for your interest, care, concern and loving participation in me, through me and around me.

Day 14
NAME OF GOD: El Hayyay

Verse: By day the Lord directs his love, 
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life (El Hayyay). Psalm 42:8

Meaning: God of My Life.

Prayer:  Supplication

El Hayyay – the God of my life – be very close to me. Open my ears to hear you. Soften my heart to discern your Spirit. Help my eyes to recognize when you are weaving something in my life. Turn my frustration and anger away from people who seem to me to be obstacles in my life, El Hayyay, and help me to know that you are sovereign – that nothing happens to me that doesn’t first pass through your hands. Kings see you and bow down. I pray that I will live each moment in that same spirit of honor and humility before the God who knows what steps I should take, and who guides me.

Day 15
NAME OF GOD: Elohim Kedoshim

Verse: Joshua said to the people, 'You are not able to serve the Lord. He is a holy God (Elohim Kedoshim); he is a jealous God. He will not forgive your rebellion and your sins.' Joshua 24:19

Meaning: Holy God.

Prayer: Confession

Elohim Kedoshim - I confess that I know your desire is for me to be holy as you are holy and I seek that with my heart. But I also know that I have fallen short of that in the past, fall short of it in the present and will fall short of it in the future. In my finiteness I far too often sin – whether it be a sin of commission or a sin of omission, it still offends the beauty and purity of who you are. Forgive me for the worry, doubt, fear, anxiety, anger and even lack of love that is in my heart at times and cleanse me in your holiness.
