"Such a pretty smile" [Taken]

A boy, who excels in school and is kinda a pessimist, and a girl, who is seemingly happy-go-lucky and optimistic no matter how bad she is in school as well as life. These two share the same classes and sit next to each other in most of them. Everyday the boy just goes through the day as if nothing is different from the last but the girl tries to find the fun in everything. Throughout their days in school the girl starts to take an interest in the boy and tries to make him smile at anytime she can. But will she be able to get him to smile? And how will the boy feel about this weird girl doing all this?

Michael sighed as he did his usual walk to school. It was an average day, early sunrise with a slight breeze that made the temperature nice and soft on the skin. "Same as usual" He said to himself as he looked up at the sky for moment then continued walking. Michael walked into the school and went to his locker with the same cold expression as always on his face. He got what he would need for the first couple classes then left the rest to get latter. He closed his locker then went straight to the classroom and waited for the day to start.

D'ooh! I'm late again~ Luna gave a tempted sigh as she rushed out of bed, throwing her phone onto the bed and charging into the bathroom to get fully ready. After about five minutes the girl's hair was fully curled and her contacts placed in. Luna turned her head to her wardrobe and pulled it open, throwing cloths out of the way and onto the messy floor of her room. Nononononono where is it! Oh... OH WAIT!~ With a plastered smile Luna pulled out a full white dress with purple pink ribbons on the ends and tops of her dress. Slipping on the dress, Luna rushed out, phone in hand, and into the living room, slipping her shoes on and grabbing her messenger bag, May Toby!~ Luna placed a soft hand onto the husky dog's head, and rushed out the door and to the school.

Once she finally made it to school, she checked the time, and felt like she was nearly collapsing to the ground. She was early enough for the students to just get there and fill into their classrooms. With a gent sigh and a shaky laugh, Luna continued to walk briskly to her locker and dump her bags contents inside the locker, then grab out her books for her first period class, then shut the locker door and skipped down the hallway.

Michael sighed a bit as he waited for the class to start. After a moment of waiting and only a few people coming in he pulled out a book he had just gotten the day before but was already half way through. He read the book contently as he waited for the other students and teacher to come in.

After a few missteps, Luna finally makes to class in time to have the bell ring. With a bright smile she walks to her seat, noticing Michael reading a book with the same dull look on his face, and greeted him politely, Good morning!~ Luna took her seat and pulled out her belongings, pencils and a notepad. She started to randomly draw character's, though she could only draw stick figures, Luna had a blast. With a small glance to the side, Luna huffed. She's been stuck next to this guy who never seems to smile, and Luna loves to smile... She loves to smile and sing and be happy and goofy... Maybe she should randomly stalk him? No no... How about she teaches him!~ What a lovely plan~

Michael glanced at Luna as spoke to him. "Morning..." He said simply as he looked back to his book without changing his expression. He only knew her by the roll the teacher took and by what she did when they sat near each other. That didn't bother him though he had no intention of actually getting to know her at the moment.

And hows your morning coming along? Luna asked as she propped her face up upon her neatly folded hands. Her purple eyes glimmered as she tried to spark up a conversation with her seat partner. She was going to try today, she was going to try and get him to speak to her more, and possibly make him have a good time. It was her conquest as a great.... Er goddess? Bah, it was her job as a great human to help her little seat buddy. With a small giggle at her little thought, Luna had completely dozed off, thinking about the fun times she was going to have, and how she was going to get him to crack a small smile. This endeavor may finish her off, the battle may be weary, but she was a soldier of smiles and happiness!~

Michael didn't look up at all he simply shrugged. "Same as usual" He said in a monotone voice as he continued to read. As he read though he started to wonder why Luna wanted to talk to him so much recently.

Why was Luna expecting something else? This guy literally just ignores looking up at Luna and answers plainly. Huffing slightly, causing her bangs to fly up slightly, Luna tried a different approach, Is that book good? You seem to enjoy it a lot. Luna unlatched her hands and placed one to her side of the desk as she tiled her head to the side to see the title, Whats it about? Something cool huh!~ I guess you really like reading don't ya? Maybe if she just randomly shoot off questions he would magically pay attention to her? Be happy and start hanging out with her?

Michael looked over at her for a moment then sighed as he tilted the book to show her it was just a math study book. "I'm just studying" He answered her simply just before returning to how he was before.

Luna shut up instantly knowing it was now a math book. With another breath of air Luna just sighed and placed her head on the cool surface of her desk, You not lively... She stated sadly as she gave a small, sad look with a little frown. He wasn't a full bore, but he was a piece to work with.

Michael continued to read as replied to what she said. "Well I'm not trying to be lively...what's the point anyway?" This was probably the most he's ever said to her at one time.

Whats the point? Whats the point?! Everything was the point! If no one was truly happy then live would be a bore!~ Or at least that's what Luna thinks. With a puff of her cheeks, Luna placed her hands onto the table and gave the boy a half glare, What do you mean whats the point?! It's nice to show signs of life once in a while. At least let us know your still alive and well!
