Ah school... I remember those days. Back when dinosaurs roamed the- er I MEAN *cough*
In all seriousness though, is it school to blame for sparse posting? Or is it more that people got bills to pay, got mouths to feed, there ain't nothing in this world for free? (cookie for anyone who gets that)

Haha. I posted this while I was at the library.. I was there for 2 more hours but promptly forgot to check if anyone replied.
Sorry school sucks Junai. ;(
I personally have no excuse for not posting except maybe social ineptitude. School and work could definitely be others' reason for not posting though. Or just like. Growing up ;p

Oh not much, same ol' same ol' really. I work part-time as a note taker and it pays well (which is good!) I'm living in my old house playing superintendent (which is not as good) At least this way I can shore up some funds to move out (which is good!) But it's only part-time and in the meantime I have to deal with my dad and bro who are slobs (which is NOT good) But at least my brother triiiiiies not to be a slob (which is good!) My dad on the other hand is... well, let's not go there (SOOO not good) I get to share my days with my wonderful fiancé (which is veeeeerrrrry good! *eyebrow waggle*) But again, we're kinda broke so wedding plans are on the backburner (which is not as good)
... kinda up and down for me to be honest :I I can't complain too much though. I have a roof over my head, food on the table, clothes on my back and hi-speed internet.
What about you? I have no idea what's up on your end either!

I have to say pretty much same ol' as well.
I'm living in a townhouse that I've lived in for 2 years now (!) I have different roommates than I started with and they are nice enough. c:
Mostly though I'm hanging out at my mom's kind oof watching my brothers? They're nearly 4 and 7 years old now o:
And that's about it!
I'm not working and neither is my mom but like you said we have roofs over our head and electricity and food. Which is good.
I'm kind of thinking about going to cosmetology school but I'm not sure.
Note taking seems interesting, what's that like?

I'm glad to hear things are going well for you! I noticed your thread about your mom's birthday, but it sounds like things worked out in the end so that's good! Ooo cosmetology! Are you thinking about becoming a hairdresser? My mom used to be a hairdresser and she had to take all kinds of courses, like chemistry and stuff like that ('cuz when you're mixin' s**t, gotta do it right!) I say if you're passionate about it, then go for it! I mean, provided you got the funds for it of course (maybe you can get a grant or scholorship or something!)
Ah note taking. How do I explain it? Well let's see... I provide a service for people with a hearing/learning disability so that they can keep up in a class or meeting. What I do is I bring my laptop to a class/meeting and type out everything that's being said as accurately as I can. I can't do verbatim (i.e. word-for-word) because I'm fast, but not THAT fast. It's not like what they do in courts. They use an entirely different system, and is HAS to be verbatim (for legal purposes obv) I just do as close as I can because it's not for legal stuff so it doesn't have to be 100% accurate. Basically, it's so that my client can keep up with what's going on and not miss anything because of the limitations their disability causes. Like, if they can lip-read, that's fine if the professor is facing the class, but if they turn around and write something on the board, well that bit is missed. Or if someone is asking a question, by the time you figure out who's talking, it's jumped to someone else. Videos are a pain in the a** too because not all of them have subtitles.
tl;dr I type out stuff being said in classes/meetings as accurately as I can so my client with a hearing/learning disability can keep up. c:
