Plot: Sagewind College is an academy for the magic arts and studies of spells for years now. It has a common tradition that students of a high prestige and titles are allowed to choose a fellow classmate and take them in as their apprentice. Guinevere Violetta is a first-year known for bringing nothing but bad luck to those around her leaving her to be singled-out and bullied by her peers. But what happens when a Prefect of one of the highest-tiered dorms, and her idol, suddenly asks her to become her apprentice? How will Gwyn take this sudden twist of good luck.

Personality: Despite how refined Sagewind demands their students to be, Gwyn is a complete goofball and a bit naive. She isn't the type to hide her emotion and has an amusing set of expressions that come with her. She would do anything to see her peers just as happy as her even though they bully her. She is a caring and optimistic girl that leads her father to believe was passed on from her deceased mother. As clumsy as she is, it is apparent by her professors and advisors that she has hidden potential in being an outstanding person. Deep down under all that optimism is a girl who is easily distraught by the feeling of loneliness and only wishes that somebody would be her friend despite her bad luck.

Background:A long time ago, a Gypsy cast a spell on a group of circus performers which Gwyn's great-great-great-grandfather once belonged to which was passed on down to the future generations. It was believed that it was the curses doing that left her mother bed-ridden after she was born before eventually taking her life and leaving her dad to raise her on his own.
She spent most of her childhood at the circus watching her father perform in front of audiences as an acrobat who wanted her to follow his path, but where most of her talent came from was a gift from her mother; magic! At the age of thirteen, she discovered how to create illusions and charms that lasted for duration of time deemed extraordinary by sorcerers and wizards. But the curse of the gypsy had tampered with her magic causing harm to anyone around her whenever she used too much magic at one time. It wasn't until after an incident involving a member of the circus audience getting attacked by one of her spells, was she considered to be nothing but a monster.
It wasn't soon before Sagewind had their eyes set on bringing Guinevere into the College when she was old enough so that she could learn how to control such a dangerous magic. During a last minute orientation at Sagewind, Gwyn managed to get separated from the rest of the group. While wondering about, she managed to catch sight of a beautiful girl crying by herself. Without a second thought, she made her way over to woman and attempted to cheer her up through tamed displays of her magic before getting the woman to smile. Before they could even say hello to one another or get each others name, she was reunited with her group and forced to leave. Little did Gwyn know back then that that was the Prefect she would come to admire she had managed to cheer up.
It wasn't until her first week into Sagewind that she found out that the young lady she had entertained was none other than a dormitory leader running one of several houses in the College. Gwyn could only hope that she would be placed in the same house that her acquaintance lead, but to little surprise, her bad luck had her bouncing between three houses as she was deemed useless by them. Now she could only dream of having a chat with the girl who found amusement out of her magic.
