The creature came toward him, its eyeball penduluming on the rotting stalk that barely kept it hanging from the socket, a dull moan escaping through its mouth. The man readied his makeshift weapon, his palms sweating from the tight grip he held on it, watching the undead as it lurched steadily forward. Swing now, he thought, swing before its too late! The zombie's maw opened... and then it slipped on a banana peel.
