Ittarius Eleanor Jane Calder I totally agree with the need for acceptance among ourselves. I used to identify as bisexual before I knew I was a lesbian, and I dealt with many people telling me I wasn't really gay, but in reality, I had a girlfriend at the time.
I also think it's a little unfair to tell people who may not enjoy giving oral sex that they aren't really gay. It just makes it seem like because a certain sexual act makes someone uncomfortable, theres no way that they can be gay. Well if you identified as bi then you wouldn't really be gay. razz But yeah, I love it when people say that bi/pan people are greedy or can't make up their mind. And it's especially hilarious how they say they're greedy and then you ask straight and gay people and like 75% say they wouldn't date a bi/pan person. Like ahh yes, look at all the greed. We're swimming in people. But oh yes. And then what about all the gay asexuals? Guess they can't be gay either, 'cause after all sex is 100% the only thing that matters. *Sarcasm intensifies* Like basically telling me I couldn't be a part of the community because I was bi. And if I was bi because I was greedy, that would be stupid of me, because lesbians didn't want to date me and straight people didn't want to date me.
I feel like there's a lot of bi exclusion because people don't understand it.

Yeah, you can't be part of the LGBT because you'r bi. Sorry to mislead you, the B actually stands for "badass". But yeah, I agree. Monosexuals don't seem to grasp the concept that non-mono people see gender in a different light. Being pan and genderqueer, and heck, even demisexual, gender essentially means nothing to me but I get excluded from the community because I'm not the right kind of queer. When you actually look at it, I'm more queer than gay people because I'm affected in every definition of the word. But the main point I guess is: there are multiple types of attraction and telling someone they aren't REALLY attracted to certain people because the way they experience attraction is different than the norm is ridiculous and ignorant af. Also there is 100% nothing wrong with not wanting to participate in certain sexual acts.

Umabel Ittarius I dunno, I think people complain because it makes for (obviously) very one-sided sex, which I think is also generally frowned upon in any community. But honestly there is so much hate in the LGBTQ community for people who "aren't really queer" *cough cough* bisexuals and pansexuals *cough cough* so anyone who doesn't participate in the gayest gay activities 100% super all the time isn't "really part of the community". Which is pretty crappy, imo. I'd just like to see more acceptance among us. Yeah, bisexuals and pansexuals have their struggles too since gay or lesbians at least like the same gender only. Suddenly if someone is gay or lesbian, they're the only ones to be in the commmunity. emotion_donotwant At least they're sure in who they like. I'm still in the grayzone. I don't know what I am.
Right. And if your bi or pan and dating someone of the opposite gender, you get labelled as straight. But if you date someone of the same gender, you get labelled gay. Erasure, man. But hey, it's fine not to know. You've got your whole life to figure out who you are.

Awhn, but I don't want to use my whole life. emotion_0A0 Alone time is good at a certain amount because I desire some kind of companionship with a being during that time.
