[Strikers Daughter]

Cynder, a baby dragon, was in her home outside of her master's house. She was always hanging out outside when he was out at work or whatever he did during the day. Since the day he was given her egg, she was his loyal companion. She yawned as she got up and went over to the porch as it was hot outside, hoping her master would be home soon. She loved when he would get home as she would run into his arms and try to get him to play with her. These days it was very rare to find a baby dragon egg left ungaurded or alive. So when a dragon's egg was found, it was given by the king to someone whomever the king felt was worthy enough for the job.

Lupine Duchess

Kieron had been working at the local inn. he was working all night playing for the people and the soldiers who just got back home from fighting in another lands for a few years. he slowly made his way down the stone path leading to his house "need to check my fiddle. I think a string had snap from all the playing" he laughed to himself but taking a look back at the town "so many lovely...but my music is my only love" [he said in a joking tone and wave his hand in the air hoping that Cynder could see him at this point. bandits had not been seen in a few years but he never left without taking a weapon when he left home

Cynder came running as soon as she saw him waving and smelled his scent. She then jumped into his arms roaring happily as she'd missed her daddy. She was about the size of a human baby right now since she was only about a month old. As soon as she was in his arms her eyes began to sparkle and she started licking his chin, as well as nuzzling his chest while whimpering like a dog. She thought she was a dog since she was being raised like one.

Lupine Duchess

Kieron almost fall onto the ground from her running and jumping into his arms. he then pets the top of her head. he wave his hand towards the door and snap his finger with the door slowly opening. " I see someone is happy about me coming back home. I had a very long night. wish there was lest people at the inn" he Kieron step into his house and place her down onto the wooden floor inside of the living room. he let out a sigh being even more tired from the long walk

Cynder then made her way to the kitchen where she pulled on her bottle out of the fridge and dragged it into the living room where she clawed at Kieron's leg wanting him to feed her like she was a baby again. She loved her daddy very much, even if he was usually busy.

Lupine Duchess

Kieron sighed a bit on seeing the bottle before picking her up and taking the bottle inside of his hand and smiled to himself "think you need to start eating meat or anything solid " he said waiting for her to start feeding on the bottle and wonder do dragon even can make milk in the first place. some things human should not know and this was one of them

Cynder was on her back and started suckling on the bottle as soon as she was in his arms. She held the bottle in her claws looking up at Kieron with her usual sweetness. She was about 2 months old by this time so she would need to start eating solid food as it was passed that time of her life. It would be harder now that she was older but once she knew the bottle wasn't coming back, she would get over it and start eating solids like a normal dragon.

Kieron thought more to himself and once she was done eating from the bottle. he really need to make a plan on getting her on meat. there was one lady in town his music can not get her to be by his side but she stop showing up once Cynder was giving to him by the king "you always look so cute Cynder"

Cynder roared trying to say thank you daddy. Before she saw the sadness in his eyes. She nuzzled her head under his trying to help him feel better. She had no idea why he was sad, but she wanted to help him be happy in some way.

Kieron pets her head again and smiled at Cynder. he rubs under her chin and thinks to himself for a bit " there was this woman. who showed up to my show every night. till one night she never showed up again" he was not trying to link that it was the same day he got Cynder and try to remove the bad feeling he was having right now

Cynder purred loudly as he pet and scratched her. She then heard him talking to himself before she saw the sadness in his eyes. She nuzzled his cheek licking it giving him a kiss and snuggled up to him wanting to help him feel better.

Kieron walked into the living room with her and laid down on the floor petting her head again. he close both of his eyes " don't worry. am fine. noting wrong with me. a bit of sadness never hurt anyone" he said to himself and thought about those words. he had been thinking about this for around the last past month but now those feelings are fading away again

Cynder, being her sweet self, snuggled up to Kieron not wanting to leave him alone now. She hated seeing him upset and put on a brave face for her. "No lie, daddy!" She said saying not to lie to her or anyone for that matter, especially himself as she had seen him moping around lately. She got off him and tried to push him towards the door wanting him to go to town and talk to that woman. Of course Cynder would want to go too but knew that Kieron had to talk to the girl.

Kieron got up from off the floor and smiled at Cynder "she had been missing for some time and no one had seen her...it was around the time I got you" he already knew there was no point in looking for this woman as he never got her name and only remember he couldn't take his eyes off the young lady. he opened the door and waited for Cynder to go out first

Cynder went out the door before she waited for Kieron to close it and follow her. If they were lucky the woman was still near the town or something. Cynder really wanted to help Kieron find the woman and make him the happiest man alive. Cynder flapped her wings, even though she was unable to fly just yet, as she was excited for their little outing. Even if they didn't find the woman, it would make for a great adventure.
