Sitting outside was so relaxing, especially when one was nearby the river, on a picnic bench, admiring her nails.
Of course, she was admiring nature as well, but she was a part of nature. At least, in her mind she was. She was important. and that's all that mattered.
Of course, being a faerie, she grew bored after lounging for a bit, eyes scanning the area as her head tilted and neck cracking with a satisfactory pop. Breathing out a sigh of relief, she leaned back against the table and crossed her legs, wondering if anything would delight themselves in becoming her amusement.
Seiana_ZI I feel terrible for what Cearney's about to endure. :c

There it was, the eye twitch, the sign of barely concealed anger. This should be good.
Dumb? Clearly. Wait -- did she just call him a Monster? Ha! Cearney laughed again, shooting back, "Aye, of course, with sharp teeth and tree branches, what else could you be?" The smirk on her lips seemed to be matched by a mischievous twinkle of his eyes.
Of course, he wouldn't just leave it there. As a proud leprechaun, he would never let his fellows go unknown. "Nice try. I'm a leprechaun. Fae."

Ha! Of course she apologized. Realized she was trying her nonsense with the wrong fella. He was a leprechaun, jackdammit.
Wait, she was a fae too? He quirked a brow. Interesting. Explained a bit of the behaviour, admittedly. He lifted his hat to her, setting it back down on his head when she kept talking.
A gancanagh? Well, she looked to be about student age, and there was really only one gancanagh he was familiar with at Amityville. "Ya mean Marosa?" That would have been easy enough of an answer for her, all things considered. He quirked a brow. Why would she need to know about Marosa?
Hm. Shifting, disposition a bit more serious, he prodded himself with a, "Why're you asking?"

".... when we were wee little bairns." The memory frustrated her, and Sayael's arms dropped, a frown gracing her face. "Father didn't like us spending time together, so he was sent off to Amity..." She attempted to calm herself, but it didn't quite work.
"... while Oi had to wait and plead with him to let me attend as well." In all honesty, she hadn't really wanted to muck up Marosa's life too bad... but was it wrong to want to make it a little chaotic? After all, a little chaos was good for you. Right? Right.
Reaching up to rub her temples, Sayael sighed. It was tough to be completely honest, but a part of her wanted to reconnect with Marosa, and attempt to be the sister to the gancanagh that was always afraid of touch.
She wanted to help him, and didn't realize that he needed no help whatsoever.

That answered more than he asked, though it was certainly useful information.
For one, she had seemed to have been trapped by their father in some way, too. She could have been lying--Cearney was certainly familiar with lying himself--but her demeanour had changed enough that he was reasonably sure she was telling the truth. If she really was just looking for her brother, there would be no reason to lie, either.
"Ah, yes, I've heard about your father," he glanced up for a moment to study her reaction. "It's good he finally let ya leave. Amityville is a good academy."
Of course it was, or the leprechaun creeple would have sent him elsewhere.

For the briefest of moments, Sayael's face twisted into a frown at the mention of their father, a cold stare that would murder with a mere look. She shuddered as she let out a breath, the face turning into one that was cool, and calculated.
"Yes. It was beneficial for both of us." Glancing at her nails more out of habit than actually inspecting them, the sugar faerie made a small sound of disagreement on how that had come about. A lot of whining on her part, until Da'luagh couldn't stand it anymore and sent her away more to get her out of his hair.
But it had worked.
"But yes." Her gaze slid to him, curious. "So... what arrangement do ye have with him, seeing as how he's a gancanagh and all?" She couldn't keep the teasing smile from her face, wondering if Cearney had met that part of Marosa yet.
