[GM ORP] Boom goes the dynamite [pg 3]

Clean up after that last fiasco was a bit of a pain in the head. Damage had been done in ways that Batista preferred to not have happened. After taking some time to sort out everything that was going on, things certainly were not in his favor. He was going to need a plan.

Perhaps he was going to need to try and dip into the resource that the Black Sands have already done so.

And so he sent out a few of his men to slap up posters around the campus to hopefully grab some attention.

"Like fireworks but what you have isn't enough? Come by to Fizzbang's! You'll get the booms you've always wanted," the posters said, as well as giving an address.

The address itself led to a dusty old building that had a number of crates labeled with various explosives and the like.

Hello again! This is just one of a few segway rps that will happen before the next event for the Mafia Wars Arc, and thus will be a little more on the casual side. As with the Black Sands, there is a chance for your character to be given a "consequences" label, or so to speak. If you are one of the 8 Black Sands chosen, you cannot be picked for the Malocchio one as well. Your character will feel a strong aversion towards coming here, anyway.

GIVE DANNY THE BOOM!

Danny was the first one to show up. She leaned over the boxes and attempted to open one. Just to be sure it was what she thought it was.

GIVE LUTZ THE BOOM!

Buying probably-illegal fireworks from unspecified people who did their sales from a shady warehouse proooobably wasn't the smartest idea. Lutz was someone who prided himself on being a generally level-headed person, but...

Well, apparently wasn't enough to deter him because here he was, tipping his hat back and squinting at the crates full of what he assumed to be the promised merchandise. Jack, packing all these things together in one room did not seem safe.

Especially with that fire demoness poking about over there. Lutz made a mental note to avoid her.

"Now, now. Don't get too impatient. We've got some goodies for you all," a deep voice spoke out while stepping out into the open. A large red skinned Asmodeus demon stood there with his wings folded back behind him.

"Fizzbang is getting your ah... goody bags ready. Settle down for now, and don't worry. The crates have some extra protection from heat sources so no accidents happen."

Lutz picked up on the last comment and let out a sigh of relief that was followed by a loud exclamation.

"Oh thank jacking god!"

GIVE LOCK THE BOOM!

Danny lit a fireball in her hand and looked back and forth between the crates and everyone. Then she slowly started inching towards the crates.

Also Lock was there standing near Lutz.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. They have protection, but it isn't immune. Unless you want to risk putting a bloody crater in the middle of this town," the demon said casually, "As much as I love a good explosion, there's a time and place for everything. This... is not one of those times."

Lutz was so surprised by Lock's presence that he actually took his eyes off of Danny. Had he still been watching her, he probably would have threatened to kick her a** if she got any closer.

A first year undead up against an alumni fire demoness. That was a good match.

But nope. Barely registering the stranger casually trying to warn Danny away, Lutz turned and thrust a finger at Lock's chest.

"The hell you doing here?"

Kayu found the whole "inviting scarelings to an abandoned building" thing to be rather unwelcoming, even if it had happened to attract a couple of curious kids already. At least after noticing that one of them was a fire demon, she understood why their questionable surroundings hadn't been a deterrent.

"Yes, do be careful, dear," the reaper said, sauntering out of a dark corner. "Our dissipation would be spectacular, but you wouldn't go home with any souvenirs either. They're worth it. Believe me."

GIVE False & Sharpie THE BOOM!

The reaper strolled in, his white robes fluttering about him as Sharpie trotted along beside him. "A big crater is always fun though!" A wild grin on his face as he looked over the top of his glasses. Meanwhile Sharpie continued to trot along shaking his head, "Ignore False he likes causing trouble..." the reaper simply rolled his eyes dragging a hand along one of the crates.

"Even if we don't get a crater here I'll get one later once we pick up some....tooooooys."

Danny squinted veryyy hard at their host. "Why not now"

Lock gave Lutz an incredulous look, pushing the accusing finger out of the air with the back of bis palm. "I've been here the whole time." Yes he definitely had no why are you asking- "i saw you looking at the poster and new you were up to less than moral activities."

Well he wasn't wrong.

Lutz gave Lock a flat stare.

"So...you're a stalker is what you're saying."  

[chiickadee]

"No!" Lock protested, pushing his gladses up and backing out of any blame that was being places upon him.

Rather than defend himself, he stuttered into, "What are YOU doing here anyways?" Yeah Lutz. Yeah. "This seems highly illegal."

The smell of soot and ash would assault Lock as the pyroamcner moved to slap the other boil on the back, a cat suddenly sitting on Lock's shoulder looking like it was soaked in a tray of ink.

"No my friend this looks and seems highly fun live a little? Rules are meaningless if we don't break them once in a while to remind others why they exist."

GIVE AUREOLE THE BOOM!

The poster had stated 'fireworks' and a location. How was she not to go!? She always loved using a small firecracker here and there back in the youthful days of the festival that provided them at home.

So a chance to get her own without her father to snatch them away? Yes, please!

Aureole's deer-like tail flitted back and forth with excitement as she peered amongst the boxes. While she had noticed others, she was more interested in the promised items.
