The summoning to the Famine floor catacombs was spread by word of mouth alone. A date, a general time of day to meet and where. Rumours arose, of course, as they often did. Whispers of two horsemen in particular, mutters of the spores they supposedly required. What plans did they have? What did these chaos driven, battle mongering kin of War need with the desert dwelling nomads of Famine?
Only those who's interests were piqued enough to turn up would soon know.
INFORMATION
This ORP takes place in a room in the Famine Catacombs.
This ORP is open to ANY CLAN, not just Famine. Though it is Famine's particular specialties that Shaheen and Shikoba are interested in utilizing, members of the other clans can certainly help out as well, and are encouraged to do so!
If you choose to join this ORP, it is assumed that your horsemen heard the summons somewhere along the grapevine, or was invited along by another horsemen who did.
If your horsemen is sympathetic towards humans or hunters, this ORP is maybe not for you, though you are still very welcome to join anyways and have them make the IC decision to protest, leave, or just listen out of curiosity. You are definitely not required to participate more than your character is willing to!
This ORP will be set up in stages, with the first stage beginning in roughly 72 hours (April 15th). Feel free to join and have your characters mingle until then!

Lurks emerged from a disheveled pile of bones and detritus, much like a groundhog. He blinked owlishly at the gathering, but didn't bother to move beyond a flutter of his shadowy wings.
It seemed only natural that Falair would attend this mysterious meeting. Word of mouth was a powerful thing to say the least. And she might just so happened to have over heard it during one particular time she was just hanging around out of sight.
Eaves dropping now a days had become a way to pass some time.
But to say the least she was here and curious as to what this gathering was all about. If it wasn't something she was interested in she would obviously leave. But generally those situations were few and far between.

Somehow the word of this special meeting had managed to drift in Waits' direction. He had let it dwell in his mind, at first wondering if he should even bother. But he was at his sibling and grew curious about what the two from the War clan would have wanted. Yes, this was something to even make Waits move.
So, he simply just appeared, blank and bland expression as always. And when it seemed as if he was close enough to make it obvious he was apart of the group, he went to the ground in a heap of cloth. And a few scattered bugs that escaped from the layers.

They had her at spores.
Na'ima arrived with the usual accompaniment of sound announcing the scarf and veil-covered mare's entrance into the room. There was curiosity, of course, as to what horsemen of War could want, but if her specialty was needed she was more than happy to help. It was her duty, after all.
A quick glance around the room had her nodding to Waits and Lurks but it's ultimately Falair who she approaches to stand beside. "Sister," she greeted pleasantly, the smile hidden behind veils reaching her eyes. "Any idea what this might be about?"

Even after his grand tour through every position his clan had to offer save for one, Mmur was still a soldier first and foremost. Spores eluded him, to be honest. He was also quite the conspicuous human fan (even if he'd been pretty good about keeping that quiet lately), but all of this gathering and whispering was taking place close to where he spent much of his time anyway, so the horseman was present.
Near the back.
Just for funsies.

Liang admittedly (though he would never actually admit it) was a bit of a fan of famine and was on the famine floor purchasing his weekly supply of glittering and iridescent bugs to make into jewellery. He loved invertebrates deeply and enjoyed collecting, pinning and crafting new things out of them.
When he heard however that something was going on, he showed up, curious and willing to get involved in anything interesting which might involve his other favourite hobby, that of humans.
Dressed in his long sweeping robes he was unmistakably of the conquest clan, but seemed engaged rather than as aloof as usual.

She heard her before she saw her, but that distinctive noise was most certainly Na'ima. And her assumptions were confirmed once her sister joined her. Falair linked arms with her older sister, leaning her head against her shoulder with a smile and a small hug to her arm.
Glancing at a couple new arrivals she gave a light shrug. "Something about spores. Other than that they are pretty tight lip about any other detail. But I am sure we will learn what they want eventually. I hope it's interesting. Wasting an afternoon was not in my plans for today." Not that she really had anything planned for the day.

Mengyao stood somewhere in the back, looking vastly out of place in his layered, elegant robes, hands tucked into his draping, gold-edged sleeves. The look of disdain upon his pale face did, however, fit him perfectly.
He waited, silently, and said nothing, merely cast a cool-eyed glance around the place.

Mengyao wasn't the only horsemen who appeared incredibly out of place in the gathering of mostly famine. Wrath had actually entered the room with some amount hesitation, stooping instinctively so as not to catch his horns on the entrance, as he wondered whether he was actually allowed to be here. He'd heard the rumours of a meeting of sorts to be held, but the details had been quite vague as to what it would all be about, and whether or not it was something anybody could attend.
His eyes sought out a familiar face, but when he caught sight of Na, he also caught sight of her sister, and remembering how their last meeting had went, he wasn't so sure he wanted to approach.
So, he hovered near the back of the room, sidestepping until he found an area to settle in, large arms crossing over a broad chest, right next to Meng.
"Hello." He offered, casting a glance to the conquest horsemen, whom he did actually recognize, somewhat, which was more than he could say for most of the others in the room.

A sudden and unexpected need for more materials had Sal wandering out from his quarters, and put him right in the path of a herd. At first, it confused him. Sure, seeing a mass of Famine clansmen clicking about wasn't all that unusual - nor was Wrath being here that out of the ordinary - but the presence of not just one, but two Conquest horsemen? Mengyao, on top of it? Now that was something that caught his attention. More, they seemed to be waiting for something.
It was almost like a gathering was being held today.
Oh. Wait.
Right. He'd meant to be present for this, hadn't he? Well, it was certainly lucky then that he happened to be here!
Salbei's lips curled into an amused smile as he changed direction, this time walking more pointedly towards the gathering mass of horsemen as if he had meant to be on his way all along. Lidded red eyes scanned the crowd a little more thoroughly now that he was closer, and it seemed he had his pick of people to torment - most of whom would be expecting it from him.
"I'm somewhat surprised that someone from Conquest would be interested in spores." He said in way of greeting and with clear approval, as he stopped to stand beside the Conquest Horseman he didn't recognize.

Uttam only came to the meeting because he'd heard who was running the show, and the Famine Stallion always made it a point to be a thorn in Shaheen's side. Medea's favorite little toy, in his mind, a toy that needed some obstacles.
Uttam was brash with his entrance, strolling to the center of the room, pushing his cloak back, and crossing his arms over his exposed rib cage. Hopefully they'd get here soon.

"Hm." Na'ima frowned and, despite everything, looked entirely disappointed. "A shame, I was hoping someone else would know a bit more than I had been told. Ah, well. I would not like my afternoon to be wasted either. I postponed a trip for this." Chuckling, the mare gave a slight shake of her head. While they waited she took a chance to look around, studying everyone who arrived. Mmur was given a nod of greeting, though the two conquest horsemen were yet another curiosity. Salbei came next, earning a lift of her arm to give him a gentle wave of hello, her bangles clanging together as they fell down her wrist. "It is always good to confirm Salbei has not perished of old age," she murmurs teasingly to Falair with a wide smile.
The arrival of Wrath has her tensing, her hand that was resting atop of Falair's tightening at the sight of him. But her eyes were wide, a helplessly bright smile was hidden behind her veil.
Her hand then came up to settle against her cheek. "Oh, he sticks out like a sore thumb. I should really remedy that soon." Sure, the Conquest horsemen were more obvious than Wrath, but Wrath was hers and therefor needed to blend in.
