dude, I feel the exact same way about onions which is why I always ask people if they want onions in whatever I'm making them because I WASNT SURE IF IT WAS JUST ME AND IM CRAZY?

In a crockpot using recipes I find in a book or online. I don't think I will be making roasts anymore. It's just too depressing to keep spending $18-25 per hunk of meat to ruin over and over again.
We use onion powder to replace fresh onions, and way way way less than what would need to replace onions. Basically if I can taste onion, I've used too much, so why we even use it in the first place is kinda lololol. Maybe so we can say HEY, THERE'S ONION INT HERE. THERE IS THREE WHOLE GRANULES OF ONION POWDER IN THIS RECIPE.
