Extending his wings in a slow stretch the male shook himself and looked around. How long had he been searching now? Should he give up entirely? he didn't want to, but a part of him was beginning to believe it was a lost cause. His heart sank and he laid back down.
He wasn't sure what to do right now. He was going to take the day to just not worry about it anymore. Just the one day. He could continue on his search later. Looking towards the sky to see if Kiviuq was nearby he figured his feathered companion had just decided to go look for some food or a lady friend perhaps. Shrugging he finally decided to get up and began to look for a place to get a drink of water.
It had been too long since Daniel got out and socialized with others, Perhaps with his circumstances it was hard to do. He could never find the time to make a new friend or meet a lady friend. While he enjoyed his bachelor time, it was time he seriously thought about his future and what it may entail. He swished his tail to and fro idly as he roamed the lands freely taking in the sights and sounds that were around him.
But, seriously though he needed to figure out his future and if he wanted a family or not. But, all his goals took time and effort to get them going. He shook his head lightly at himself as he strolled along. At the same time he was hoping he would make some friends who were also bachelors, it would make going through it so much easier.

As he ventured forth he just allowed the warmth of the day to seep into him, relaxing him. It was nice and he very much cherished these moments. However his ears twisted as he picked up some noise. Stopping to focus on it he realized there was someone walking around not too far away. Growing curious the stallion fluffed his wings and decided to go check it out. He always did like some good company, even if it wasn't planned.
Blue orbs settled upon the dark colored stallion not too long after he had set out to find the maker of the noise and he gave him a warm smile in greeting. "Hello there, you a fellow traveler or is this your area?"
Daniel's ears flicked towards some noise he heard, he took a few seconds to determine how far whatever was making noise was from him. It seemed far but close enough for him to hear it. He wondered who would be out and about as well. He wasn't even sure if there were that many who liked roaming freely or not.
A white stallion was in line with his sight before he nodded politely at other "Hello, I'am a fellow traveler. How about you?" he asked politely. He didn't see very many white stallions or at least none that he has met before until this one. He assumed it was probably a rare color of pelt to see.

As he watched the stallion a moment his ears flicked as he spoke, introducing himself as a fellow traveler. "Yes, I would say that I am much like you then." His voice was light and steady. Flicking his feathered tail behind him he took a couple steps closer towards the male to get a better view of him. "I'm Astraeus, what might your name be?" He asked him curiously. There weren't too many that he had met in his travels thus far that had surprised him by their looks, no matter how normal or how different they might appear to him.
Daniel took a few seconds to look over the male in observations before speaking up ”Pleasure to meet you Astraeus, my name is Daniel, quite an ordinary name compared to yours” . The name Astraeus sounded like it was meant to be a unique name and it definitely was. Since the white stallion was the only stallion he had meant that had a comparatively different name from the usuals.
