While she had the ability to fly she spent most of her time walking through the forests, her companion usually close by. She thought of flying as a luxury; a gift bestowed upon those worthy of it and it shouldn't be used lightly. Plus she felt at home in the woods. Flicking her short tail behind her she glanced around and figured she'd head towards a clearing that wasn't too far away. She knew the woods fairly well so she wasn't at all concerned about being lost or encountering too many dangerous beings. Though one could never be too careful, though she didn't give it too much thought.

A dash of brown and white nearby alerted her to the presence of Daring and she gave a small smile. The young fox wasn't ever far away from her and she shifted her wings for a moment and then appeared into the lightly lit meadow. There was an overcast in the sky, the sun hidden from searching eyes, and the temperature was cold but not to the point it was chilly. The light layer of snow that lined the ground barely crunched beneath light hoof steps and she scanned the skies and open field, she was hoping someone might show up.

The young Hippogryph had been resting on a rocky ledge not too far away when the sound of rocks shifting made her stir, eyes blinking as she searched for the cause. Lifting her head she peered around and then stood up and shook the dust from her body. While it was a bit colder up here it still had it's perks, mainly the advantage of not only having the high ground but being able to see a great deal further as well.

Looking down she spotted a white figure moving along one of the paths and she watched the mare curiously. She had large feathered wings but it didn't look like she used them much, just by the way she was holding them. Curious to know who she might be the mare took to the sky and flew down to where she was walking, hopefully she didn't startle her too bad.

Chimera was located in a nearby grove and she was fairly certain she'd be safe there hiding among the bushes. The young thing was tired from all their traveling and she didn't want to to kill her from exhaustion, not that she was certain that could happen. Still, it wasn't a risk she was willing to take. It was odd one could get tired like this in the dream world but things were so strange to her out here, at least how others acted.

Shifting her wings against her side she looked towards the sky for a moment. She contemplated taking to the heavens above so she could get a better look around but she didn't want to lose here current location because then Chimera would be left alone and that wasn't something she wanted to happen.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a particularly bright mare. "Hello." She said pausing in her movements momentarily.

At least she hadn't startled or run off by her sudden decision to join the mare on the ground. "Hello," She offered back as she kept her distance so as to not worry her. She just seemed somewhat disoriented as it was and she didn't want to further that state for her. "Are you lost?" She figured it was a harmless enough question to ask, at least it would tell her what the issue was. Perhaps she could even help her.

At least this dream creature wasn't weird like that last one had been. Not that she had been weird, more strange really. Just her mannerisms and the way she spoke had been so eerie to her. Shifting her wings against her side she gave a small nod of her head. "My companion and I have gotten separated from our herd, though I'm not sure you'd be able to do much for showing the way back to them." She hadn't meant to sound so gloomy about it but she was beginning to believe she may never make it back home.

She knew Chimera's parents were likely worried, not to mention she was the only Shaman there! At least a few of the others had some skill in the arts of healing but still. What would they do if she never made it back? She frowned and turned her gaze back towards the mare. "Sorry, it's just been a long day for me." She added with a flick of her tail behind her.

Wasn't she just a bundle of sunshine, though she could feel her pain a little. It must be hard being separated from those you cared for like that. "I might be able to help. If anything I can tell you where you're herd definitely is not if you can give me a terrain description." While she wouldn't be able to tell her where it was she could at least help eliminate her choice of direction. "I'm Morrigan, what is your name?" Perhaps an exchange of names would help cheer her up.

Clara was uncertain of the voices she was hearing not too far away and made her way towards them and came into an interesting view. A hippogryph and an Alicorn (much like herself but a little different), were having a conversation. The white mare seemed a bit lost or confused, by the expression she was seeing upon her face. She did happen to catch the last part of what was being said, they were just getting into introductions so she hadn't missed much!

"I do hope that I haven't interrupted anything, My name is Clara." She said introducing herself to the two mares as she came into view.

Eir swallowed as the mare asked her for her name. Before she could answer another mare came into view and she couldn't help but admire her for a second, her coloration was so soft and light, her colors complimenting one another in such a relaxing manner, even her voice was soothing. It instantly set Eir at ease. "I'm Eir." She said softly towards the two mares that stood before her. Giving a flick of her tail behind her she hoped no one else showed up, she didn't want to get too overwhelmed by all these strangers that she was running into. And what happened if something happened to her? What would Chimera do? Shifting her wings nervously she watched the others curiously.

Morrigan was quite pleased, there was another mare that had joined them! Perhaps she'd make some new friends, though she didn't want to jump to any conclusions just yet. She listened as the two introduced themselves. "Oh no, not interrupting at all, I was just asking her for her name." She said with a bright smile. "It's nice to meet you Clara and Eir, I'm Morrigan as I said to Eir a few moments before you showed up." She greeted the new mare. "Are you both just passing through?"

Eir supposed passing through would be the right term for what she was doing. However she wasn't even sure where or what here was. She didn't exactly want to share that with them openly though, they weren't herd and she didn't want to give away anything to those that were not a part of who they were. "Yes." She answered softly towards her, though it wasn't the whole truth, it was still truthful and that was good enough for her. She looked over towards the other mare that had joined them to see what her answer might be. Perhaps this was her area and they were the ones trespassing? Though her demeanor hadn't been at all authoritative so she didn't really think that was the case. It was likely they were all just passing through and just so happened to cross each others paths.

Clara gave a nod of her head and smiled. "Oh yes, this is pretty far from where I'm from. I'm just traveling through." She offered up to them both with a small glance around. Daring must have made himself comfortable somewhere, though this was a large group for him to just meet at once. Not that she thought he was the least bit shy or anything. "What about you Morrigan? Are you just passing through?" She figured she'd ask her the same question in return since it seemed appropriate to her anyway to figure out what she was doing in the area. She was just curious. She didn't want to pressure anyone into saying anything the didn't want to. Eir seemed to be quite nervous and it was something she had picked up on it rather quickly. She seemed fairly nice from a first glance to her.

Morrigan shook her head. "I'm actually from around this area, I was just looking about, trying to see if anyone might be passing by and sure enough, I've come across the two of you." In reality she had seen Eir first and Clara happened upon them shortly thereafter. The brightly colored mare said with a smile."Though you could always say I'm always moving about and checking out the local hideouts or what not." She looked between the two of them and wondered what the odds were that she'd run into not only two other ponies, but their familiar companions as well.

"I'm not familiar with where you may be from, do you know a general direction perhaps? Star alignments, anything?" She was curious so that perhaps the mare could be sent on a way towards her herd. She wasn't overly certain how well it would work. But anything was better than nothing, and while Morrigan wasn't the best at pinpointing things, she knew a thing or two and could perhaps lend some insight or even direct her to someone who could better answer her.

"And while I might not know any direct answers, perhaps Clara here may know some things or we can find someone that does." She hoped Clara had the same thoughts on the matter. She just had her brother and herself, she couldn't imagine being away from him, let alone an entire herd. How terrifying it must be to be that far from home. She'd make sure to give her brother a hug when she saw him later.

Eir began to feel the nervousness fade and Chimera moved out from the shadows and stood next to her bonded. She didn't want to say anything though, these dreamers were foreign to her, despite the fact they looked like a lot of their own herd members. She had to think on that question for a little bit. What kind of terrain, the stars? It was something she had lived in, and looked at daily. For some reason nothing really came to mind and she frowned. "Maybe i'll remember if I think on it a while. Is there a place to rest and find food?" She was hungry and sure Chimera was as well.

Clara and Daring gave a nod at Morrigan, "What she said, I'm sure any details you can remember may be a clue to someone, if it's not us." She smiled at Eir and Daring tried to look assuring as well. Clara shared some of the same thoughts, she too was hungry and if she knew Daring, he was as well. "Food sounds delightful right now, I've been walking for quite a while myself." Though not as long as Eir it sounded like. When you were confined to an area most of your life, exploring the lands opened your eyes to how large the territories actually were... Was there ever actually an end?

Morrigan gave the mares a smile and nodded. "If you won't mind walking a little bit further, there is definitely food and shelter a little ways from here." She noted the walking as both of their companions seemed to lack wings. She couldn't imagine being land locked to a companion that couldn't fly. Though maybe her thoughts would change if she had a companion of her own one day. "There is definitely food for your companions as well." She wasn't entirely sure what they ate, but given Morrigan, herself, was a bit of an omnivore, she was certain there was stuff for the fox if the others were more along the lines of plant only.

Her brother, she hoped, wouldn't mind some extra company for a few hours, or maybe the night. Given he was around. Though she wasn't exactly taking them to their home home. Just one of the locations that was nearby, but it was still within their territory. Shifting her wings against her body she looked between the four that stood in front of her. The one common thing was that they all had wings and were female, but beyond that they were all vastly different and she was honestly surprised with how this day had gone. She hadn't expected to talk to anyone today, and now here she was, about to escort them to a safe haven for the evening. "If the place is in disarray, I apologize, I haven't been there in a few days and am uncertain of it's state." She turned to lead the way for them.

Eir hugged chimera against her with her wing and smiled down at her. "Not at all, thank you for your hospitality." Food and rest in a safe place sounded delightful right now. Chimera was ready to be back home, did her family wonder where she had gone off to? Perhaps they believed she was lost to the dreamworld or eaten by a nightmare... Frowning she looked up at Eir and hoped they made their way home soon. Being out here was such a terrible ordeal to her. Eir looked down at the pronghorn and gave her a small nudge with her muzzle, as if to say 'Don't worry, I'll make sure nothing happens to you.' Though could she truly promise such a thing? It was one of the reasons why she didn't utter the words, anything could happen at a moments notice, so why promise something she couldn't guarantee? The dark pronghorn seemed a stark contrast against Eir's pale and the two did seem the odd couple but were bound at the hip. Truly there wasn't anything the two of them did without the other, plus Eir and her experiments required the mare to have constant supervision in case something went wrong.

Daring and Clara had no qualms either. The two of them were rather used to traveling and took shelter when and where they could, to include eating whatever was edible. Truly they were not picky, which was a bit comical since Clara did try her best to be proper and hospitable. Yet didn't have an issue getting in the mud on occasion. She wouldn't if there was another option of course, but sometimes when life is handing you lemons you just gotta work with it. Daring looked over at the ying and yang type pair and wondered about the lands from which they came, though he didn't say it. Swishing his tail behind him slightly he glanced up at Clara and gave her a smile. Food and shelter soon sounded just the thing, especially since it had been a while since they had last eaten.

With all of that being settled the five of them headed off to get some rest and see what they could find out about getting Eir back to her herd.
