Name:
Seikih ( VC: Margery Tyrell)
Age:
21
Nameday:
3556.05.12
(Age Up May 4th)
Sex:
Female
Sexual Orientation:
Bisexual with male preference
Weyr:
High Reaches Weyr
Rider Rank:
Wingrider for Tornado Wing
Previous Rank/Craft:
Starcraft Apprentice
Physical Description:
Now, the first thing one needs to realize about Seikih is the fact that she knows she's pretty for her age. With long, dark hair that brushes her knees, and eyes a pretty gray akin to the stars, she cares for her appearance. Seikih is tall for her age, at 5'9" tall, with broad shoulders, long fingers and limbs, and a well toned torso. Her chest is beginning to form, leaving her with a small A-cup. Her face shape is a simple oval, sitting atop a long, elegant neck. Her eyes are set well in her face, a pretty almond, with a slight down-turn. The iris is a light silver in color, with copper discoloration around the pupils. Her skin is very pale, more related around the fact that she's used to being outdoors in the evening, and less in the day, though usually she's up at a very early hour. Her hair itself is relatively simple, long, brushing past her waist to gently touch her bottom, and in one layer, with a jagged cut about her face. A slight dusting of freckles, genetic, brush across the bridge of a slightly upturned nose, and across high cheekbones that give her a proud look, and full dusk-rose lips are usually pulled into a serious expression. Her nails are kept cut short, close to her palms, so as not to get in her way, and the only earthly possession that Seikih seems over-attached to is a simple silver ring, with a bright green gem in the center, that she wears on her ring finger, on her right hand.
Personality:
||Antisocial||
Not usually one for people, Seikih seems to spend most of her time by herself. She doesn't understand the attraction to physical or verbal interaction, since it seems to lead to either problems, or some sort of complication. Likely to only have one good friend at a time, the young candidate is also very quiet, MAYBE speaking one or two words to you, if you're lucky. Most of the time, communication takes place in body language. Due to this specific trait, some have thought her to be mute, when the truth is, she simply sees no need to use her voice.

||Studious||
Thanks to her lack of social interaction, she finds herself with the free time to do many things. Her activity of preference is study. Even before she was chosen as a candidate from her Hold, she enjoyed reading in Starcrafthall , learning about the night sky, and the many other things, such as maths and the like. Seikih also seems to have an uncanny ability to retain knowledge, making her, though quiet, a very formidable conversational partner. This is proven in the fact that once you get past her taciturn exterior, you can get into lengthy debates about almost everything! Beliefs, stars, anything else....It makes her happy. True, most will know her for her silence, but for the few that manage to get past it, they will begin to see the brains that work behind those silvery eyes. For the most part, she will forego any interaction in the favor of watching the sky, to carefully chart it, and in favor of tactical work. She would much rather spend her time amongst the weather and the heavens....They're not as bothersome, after all....

||Self-Concious||
Despite her people-aversion, Seikih has a major issue...The young girl has some problems with herself, however, and finds herself often taking criticism (even jokingly spoken) very personally. Taking a joke is nigh-on impossible, as half the time, she'll take it as a personal attack. It's hard for her to be social when she DOES make friends, because of this issue. The several instances in which that this has happened will usually have Seikih standing to her feet and quickly, if not instantly, leaving the room in which this occurs. Even just a lighthearted joke can be misconstrued into something it's not. It doesn't take much. She doesn't mean to take offense to everything....it's almost natural. She seems to find herself just feeling like something's meant to be offensive, even when it's not meant to be...and it drives her crazy sometimes, knowing that she might be taking it wrong. She's insulted people by snapping at them when they were simply making a joke, and lost what few friends she's had in such a manner. She has very few back in Starcrafthall, thanks to the fact that she called one person a sharding moron with lacking attention, after they teased her about a mistake she'd made in a map....

||Creative||
Hidden behind the silent mask, however, is an artist. Both in situational thinking, and in deed. She seems to have an intrinsic fascination with the night sky, and the stars, and charting them out. Doing so has given her a hand with art, and she's curious about the way that others do their craft as well. Harpers, Miners, Beastcraft....All of them are so different from what she was raised with, and their artistic quality is...incredible to her. Nonetheless, she will eternally favor the shining stars in the sky. She also has a way of thinking in a creative manner as well. Tactically, she can think of the best way to create a situation in which most everyone will prevail, and even better, Navigationally. She usually tends to think outside of the box, use stars most wouldn't think of, charts weather patterns, and uses every new twist to her advantage...
History:
From the day she was born, Seikih was more silent than most children. She never seemed content around others, usually sticking rather close to her mother's skirts. There was some fear for her mental development, growing up, as she didn't actually speak until her second turn, however, soon after her second turn came to pass, the young girl spoke for the first time, asking her mother about the work she did. The girl was raised almost solely by the woman, since her father was never about, but it didn't much matter. It was due to her mother's allowance of her antisocial nature that Seikih began to become studious. Her life was spent in Starcrafthall, learning the tricks of the trade...watching the sky, and the weather, learning their patterns just as she'd learned to speak. Her hand in charting maps became skilled by ten turns, and she was proud to do her mother such credit.

It was honestly something she thought she would do for the rest of her life, so when a Searchrider came down from the sky and found her, well...Seikih was shocked. Something about the way the man talked, about how his Dragon and he interacted, began to fascinate her. The thought struck that becoming a Rider might bring her closer to the things she loved more than life itself, and she decided that perhaps she might go with him. A long discussion with her mother ended in agreement, and so she was off to High Reaches Weyr. It was here that she began to Stand, waiting patiently for the day that her Dragon would Impress with her, and it was here that little Green Kath tumbled from her shell and chose the rather distant young woman. To be honest, though she enjoys her craft, Seikih longed to be closer to the sky...to be nearer to the things that bring such beauty and intrinsic mystery. Closer to the weather, and the very forces that controlled her very existance...Something about it just seemed so...PERFECT. Then along came Kath. Kath, the bright and bubbly little thing that had her frustrated and irritated. A Green who wants nothing more than her own happiness, and Hers must oblige, of course!

The two have been working through Weyrling training, and Seikih is intent to be prepared for any and everything that comes their way.
Other:
Mapping: Seikih loves creating maps of the sky and land.
Star Identification: She's rather good at locating constellations and all the stars.

DRAGON
Name:
Kath (VC: Sansa Stark)
Age:
6 Turns
Hatchday:
3571.06.01
(Age Up May 21)
Fianth x Ruvath
21 Eggs
Color:
Green
Size:
43'
Physical Description:
Kath is pretty and sparkly, and she bounces when she walks. Everything is awesome and perfect and - well, it's going to be unusual to find her eyes any other colour but a vivid blue. In the air, she's fairly average: not too fast, not too slow, and her stamina is pretty much what can be expected from a green of her medium size. Flights, though, are where she'll really shine - and where she'll have dragons lining up to woo her. Happy flights of fancy? You got it! She is a lithe and elegant thing, though still well-built for a Green, with bright emerald pelt dotted with lighter, almost starry patterns. Isn't she the most beautiful, Hers?
Personality:
Hello hers! Isn't all this EXCITING?! Kath is an intelligent and enthusiastic green, with oodles of smarts to spare and spread around. She'll throw herself full-heartedly into every task, and it's rare to find her slacking in the brief spurts of energy that come with taking something new on. She loves new things and new concepts and is forever excited about something new and different.

Unfortunately, she has very little sticking power - though she's forever interested in new things, she gets bored of them, or frustrated, equally quickly: concentrating long enough to finish a project or properly learn a new skill will be difficult for her, and she will be at particular risk if her rider is not attentive during certain points of weyrling training... if ever there was a dragon to be lost in her first jump between, that would be Kath.

Kath is also a creature who needs to get her way - if she wants something, be it a particular herdbeast or a position for her rider, she will have it, and you had better not stand in her way. She can throw a wonderful tantrum, and the whole weyr will know about it when she does: she'll be screaming on both the physical and the mental levels, which can be a huge strain for her rider. This will be more common while she's young, but will never go away entirely.

She's also a fairly superficial creature: it will always be difficult for Kath to see past what a person is presenting themselves as to the 'real' person underneath, but what you see will always be what you get with her. She has no deep thoughts, no hidden layers, just bubbly delight. She and her Twin that hatched from the same egg will always be close, and only her rider will ever come first - she is devoted to him, even if they might squabble frequently. It'll be rare to find the two apart, or not cooking up some special brand of trouble for the weyr.

She has a special love for runners. They are delicious and pretty and perfect and she really likes them. Mmm.

Seikih, Kath thinks, needs someone to look after her - to bring her out of her shell, to show her how much she's loved... and if she won't be social, well, Kath can be social for her! See? The green will always do her best to smooth away Seikih's self-conciousness, possessing enough confidence to make up for three, and to prove that she is brilliant and can do all of this! That said, Kath was also drawn to her creative side, and will always be around to fuel her rider's latest project.

In return, Seikih definitely provides the strong will and the drive that Kath needs if she's going to survive her weyrlinghood... and if Seikih is going to survive her frequent tantrums over not getting what she wants.

Castor kind of fell in to her lap on accident, an Egg that was found, and she cared for, with the help of an over-curious Green. She named it Castor,
mostly because it seemed to fit.

Name:
T'at ( VC: Nathan Fillion a la Mal Reynolds)
(Formerly Thanato)
Age:
32
Nameday:
3546.11.06
(Age Up Oct. 13)
Sex:
Male
Sexual Orientation:
Pansexual
Weyr:
None any longer
Rider Rank:
Mercenary
Previous Rank/Craft:
Western Weyr Wingrider, Healercraft Apprentice
Physical Description:
The first thing one notices about T'at is his height, and those eyes. Standing at a soild 6'3", well built, with a lithe set. His chest is strong, shoulders broad, and with long arms, long legs, and a body that most people would kill for, he really is an attractive male. T'at's hair is dark, almost pitch black in color, with small streaks of natural browns, and it's well trimmed in long layers, often slicked back from his face. His features are sharp, chiseled, with high cheek bones, and a broad nose, and thin, rosy lips that are a bit more deep than most mens' are. Those eyes are narrow, a piercing blue in color, with a ring of soft, pretty gold around the pupil. His posture is usually rigid, formal, and he's very quiet, rarely speaking, except to answer a question, or to interact for his Wing. Even with his tall, elegant build, though, he is able to be dead silent, thanks to his usually well-fitted clothing.

However, years have been harsher on T'at. His skin is darkened golden bronze from its original paleness, and is slightly sun-damaged, making it look a bit dry. Freckles are evenly spattered over the bridge of his nose. and his face, neck, and upper body are marred with scars, from his six years with the rogues. One thing is for sure, you can tell that T'at is a strong man.
Personality:
+/- Taciturn
It's rare to hear T'at speak. When he was younger, most thought he was mute until the young man finally started talking much later in his youth. While this was unusual for his parents, it was obvious that he had his reasons. T'at never speaks, if only due to the fact that he sees no reason. Unless you prove to him that you have something worth talking about, or something worth his time, unless you're his Wingleader, or someone within a higher rank of command. With his quiet nature comes a seriousness that can be almost terrifying. It's rare to see him smile, and even rarer to see him crack more than a small frown when he's speaking to one of his Wingmates. T'at is reserved in his reactions as well, unlikely to respond to anything with a quick hand, or even gestures. His tone is often monotonous, making things rather....hard to tolerate...until you get him passionate about something...Which though hard to do, has happened.

+/- Creative
Behind that silence, however, is the eye of an artist. T'at has a very big tendancy to think outside the box, rather clearly able see complex situations, and out of the box solutions. Ever since his youth, he was good at finding his way around more complex hold halls, and wiggling his way out of troule. Why? Because something about his ability to turn phrase when necessary has always been...exceptional. T'at's creativity stemmed into his activities as well, leading him to become a tattoo artist, often adding either permanent, or Henna marks to people's skin for pay. His own skin is only slighty tattooed, both marks that are well hidden from anyone else, unless he's shirtless. Anyways, back to the point. Not only does T'at's creativity stem through complex problem solving and his tattoos, but it also extends into a less reputable talent....Lying.

If need be, the boy is very good at spinning a tale that's so believable, it would probably pass his own mother. His mind is sharp and quick, and his answers will always be based on some grain of truth.

- Pent Up Agression
When T'at gets passionate about things, such as his Nessuth, and his stories, it brings out a side of him that....well, you can kind of see how he got where he is. Once you've broken that silence, it's quickly obvious that T'at can get over-agressive when he's in this state. His entire being becomes tense and it's not uncommon for him to get to the point of physical violence. Especially if you insult him, or his art. His entire life was put into studying enough that he could become a good Tattoo artist, and Henna artist, after all! It's obvious that he holds so much in, with his quiet nature, and even the strongest stone has its breaking point. T'at has been known in the past to throw a punch, and occasionally, something more dangerous. In his first few turns in the Rogues, this was a serious problem, since he was quick to turn into his passionm but time has tempered him into someone more strong to his silence.

+ Determined
There is not a thing he starts that T'at doesn't intend to finish. His heart is always 100 percent in everything, and this showed in how quickly he and Nessuth took to training. He took to it like a fish to water, and despite the fact that he often would get snippy with his teachers when they would correct him, he began to improve more and more. No matter what, his mind is always geared towards improving, getting better, and ensuring that any attached to him share his drive to move on. To T'at, the past is meant to remain in the past. Dwelling on it gives you no chance to build and grow, and so he shoves it all behind in order to become something more than what he is.
History:
He was born to a Rider father and mother. Thing was that he never really knew his parents that well. After all, most kids born to Riders aren't raised by their parents. Thanato was a child who enjoyed wandering, oft slipping about the Weyr as he pleased. It often worried those who watched him, mostly because the boy could go unnoticed, and seemed even better at getting into places that he shouldn't have been. It caused panic for his watchers, mostly due to the blooming temper that the young male had already displayed.

Over a few turns, they found that the boy had a passion for Healercraft. His creative mind helped him bring in outside perspective to the field, and think of combinations for things that would normally be outside of the box. However, that aggressive fire still burned, and he'd slip every now and again with particularly stubborn patients. One day, though, Thanato noticed a young man who had....strange designs over him. And it fascinated the boy. His attention drifted away from Healercraft, and began to focus on learning the arts of Henna and Tattoo. He was taught well, and had begun to try and set off on his own, when he was searched.

When he was 17, Thanato stood for his first clutch, and had honestly expected nothing to come of it, but when a little, tumbling ball of Brown came to sit in front of him, telling him that he was his Nessuth, well....Thanato was quick to realize that he now had someone he HAD to talk to. The new voice in his head was so strange, a foreign sensation as he felt the fact that this new little dragonet just seemed to pick up everything about him, all at once. His shock was...great, and the fact of the matter was that he was scared. Scared...but....at the same time...he understood. Knew that there wasn't a reason he should be so surprised, or so frightened. After all, his Nessuth was there for him. Nonetheless, the adjustment was...taking some time to getting used to. The little voice consistantly knowing what he was thinking....feeling....everything that he was holding on to. Hiding. The night after the Impression was when he got used to it, however. A nightmare had plagued him, causing young T'at to wake with a start, and a loud cry. The cry had startled Nessuth, but the little brown was quickly by His' side. The little body pressed against him, and that voice in his head, echoing comforts to his own doubts...well. That's when the young man found himself opening to this new world. A turn passed, and it became obvious that Ness had begun to temper the boy. It was rare to see the blue eyed Weyrling without his brown, one hand always on the other's neck, near him. It was even more rare that they were apart for even a moment.

The way Nessuth puts it, "Mine needed someone safe to talk to, who was just His."

However, there is only so much you can do to change someone's initial personality. T'at had continued his job, continued his work with tattoo long after his Riderhood, and when he was 20, shortly before he turned 21....he slipped up. A younger male had been agressively bullying the dark haired young male about a certain piece of ink he wanted done. T'at was uncomfortable doing it, and had consistantly refused, until one day, a shove pushed him over the edge. The Rider pushed the boy down in a chair and, using his knowledge of herbs and ink, poisoned the ink he intended on using. A sharp STAB easily dismissed as an 'accident' got the poison where he wanted it.

The boy died a few days later, and they traced the ink poisoning back to the Rider, leaving him without a home. Without a place. He'd been a promising Wingrider. Had it not been for Nessuth, T'at might've lost himself entirely. He is still not whole yet, haunted by what he's done, but he uses the stealth and skill that he and Nessuth have managed to accrue in the last 5 turns to...assist himself. To get the funds he needs to live....roughly anywhere.

Shortly after being removed from the Western Weyr, the two of them flew across to the Northern continent, selling their claws to anyone who might need it, or T'at's skills as a tattoo artist, keeping their past hidden as fully as they could. It was shortly before the rider intended for them to go to the Southern continent that Threadfall hit. The two were unsure of what to do, and while T'at said that they should run, take care of themselves, Nessuth had other plans. The brown insisted that they assist, despite his Rider's reservation. They assisted Benden Weyr as best they could, and it was all the Rider could do not to have a near heart-attack when thread caught at Nessuth's wings. Despite his anxiety surrounding Weyrs, the two spent a few months there, giving T'at a chance to tend his Dragon's injuries.

They have only left within the month, and are currently wandering with the intent of eventually checking High Reaches Weyr....perhaps to find a new home.
Other:
Now, T'at's repression of things comes back to bite him in the bum rather frequently. It comes in the form of really bad night terrors that often keep him up at night, unless Nessuth is right there with him.
He still tattoos to this day. Screw the past.

DRAGON
Name:
Nessuth (VC: The Operative)
Age:
13 Turns
Hatchday:
3563.12.18
(Age up Nov. 22)
Orcheth x Xhenth
24 Eggs
Color:
Brown
Size:
63.5'
Physical Description:
Nessuth is a beautiful brown. Though he is on the smaller side for his color, his color is a deep, rich chocolate, studded with warmer golds, and deep crimsons that vein to create his stunning shade. However, not all of Nessuth is marked thusly. At his wing-tips, and toes, as well as his muzzle, he's got a very pale peach tone, assumed to be sun lightening by some, but it is something that T'at insists is something he was born with. There are some markings that are distinct, showing the years that Nessuth has been in battle. His wing joint is marked with a deep scar, as well as one over his eye.
Personality:
Nessuth is the type of Dragon never to complain about his surroundings. He enjoys almost every little part of life, where his rider's sullen nature might otherwise sully it. When they first Bonded, it was Nessuth's intent to show him the beauty he saw every day. The Dragon will almost never complain, taking the tasks he's given with a willing 'Yes, Mine!' And likely, he's excited about it. Nessuth always looks on the bright side, and on the best of everyone. As far as he's concerned, everyone deserves a good smile, and pat on the shoulder with a wing....or hand, since he learned that clapping someone on the back can end with them flat on their face. Where another might extoll the horrors of a bad situation, Nessuth is the type to turn around and gladly tell you that at least they didn't lose TOO many people! They could have been hurt worse! It's never glass half-empty for the Brown. Never.

It is rare for Nessuth's mind to venture beyond the confines of simplicity of a first order. Once he has been given something to do, the dragon follows it with a single-minded determination, intent on ensuring that he follows it through until the end. It's even more rare that even His can pull him out of this mindset. At that point, T'at is just following along for the ride. However, this does him credit, as it allows him to always finish the tasks they are given. There is no moment that he is at that task that he will leave any part uncovered. Nessuth is infinitely passive, where his Rider is agressive. To combat T'at's temper, he is quiet, and thoughtful, often the sort to simply lay his head near his Rider when his temper begins to get the best of him. True, this trait can be troublesome when a battle comes to pass, as Nessuth would rather talk it out, unless T'at is threatened. He tends to not speak up too directly, more the sort to nose his Lifemate toward one direction or the other. Even in a fight, he relies more on T'at and his own ability to disappear, more than strength.

However, one thing stands true, that Nessuth is good with his words. The brown, when he does choose to speak, especially to other Dragons, is capable of pushing forth everything you want to hear, regardless of if he means it or not. It's highly amusing to him, the fact that it is this very trait that helps him temper his Rider so often. A part of his ability is that his turns of phrase are often very pretty, even the lies. After all...there's nothing that says a Dragon has to be honest to anyone outside His.

ONE dropped egg and you get stuck with a sharding flit. Get Out fluttered around T'at for so long that she honesty believed her name was Get Out. She likes to perch to watch T'at's twins.

Name: E'ion (VC: Jason Momoa)
(Pronounced: Ehy-ohn || Formerly Echion)
Age:
34
Nameday:
3543.02.23
(Age Up Feb. 20)
Sex:
Male
Sexual Orientation:
Pansexual
Weyr:
High Reaches Weyr (Formerly Western)
Rider Rank:
Wingrider with Burning Aces Wing || Assistant Candidatemaster
Previous Rank/Craft:
Healercraft Journeyman
Physical Description:
E'ion is a lithe man, built rather like he might have grown swimming, rather than the more bulky builds of other men. Standing at 5'8" tall, he's on the smaller side, with hair allowed to grow long about his shoulders. The strands are a deep brown, almost chocolate, with strands of black inside, slightly rough, and thick. It's difficult for him to pull it back, and so he rarely does. Eyes of glittering honey are almond-shaped, though wider than one might think for a boy, lending E'ion an almost androgynous appearance. His skin is tanned, as though he has spent much time in the sun....which with Araeth, and how long he's been around, it is not so strange a thought that the two have taken to the skies and darkened his tone. He has long fingers, and a very deft touch, as well as long legs and a lean torso. Despite the fair looks, he always seems serious, with a rather calm, even gaze, and lips that near never smile. He is indeed the strange one, isn't he?
Personality:
Healercraft taught him much as he grew, but from the beginning, E'ion was willing to work with others. No matter how stubborn and irritating they were, he gently offered guidance and gentle hands. He seems to have a natural tolerance for almost anything you throw at him, good at working people through struggles and strife with little pushes in the right direction. Accompanying this, the man almost never angers. Instead of getting sharp or snappish, his voice is always soothing, offering a level-headed sound. It extends even in to his physical action, every move slow, careful, and graceful.

He never would lie to anyone, and never be false. Every emotion, every word, shines with a genuine nature that might be unusual to some. If he does not mean it, E'ion will not say it, so completely OPEN to letting everyone see what goes on in his mind. There is no point in being deceptive. One of his distinct flaws, though is that he tends to be more passive in his approach to things. He would sooner have a calm discourse than get tough, unless he absolutely has to. He tends to put things as nicely as possible, to carefully urge people in the right direction, instead of immediately making the tough calls that need to be made. He tends to get overly physical sometimes, not meaning to make others uncomfortable. Generally, when he is talking, he prefers to put a hand on someone's shoulder, or be constantly gesturing, physically near his people. He wants to hug those that are crying, to be able to keep someone close when they're having serious talks. The worst part about it all is that when it comes to his own nature, E'ion can be a bit insecure. He likes being an assistant because it lends structure to his traits, and it means that he does not have to worry. If left to his own devices, he will often come to doubt his own ability.

Positive Trait List Patient, Gentle, Genuine

Negative Trait List Passive, Physical, Insecure

History:
It began with a boy born in a family of Harpers. His mother was a beautiful singer, his father talented with his flute and whistles, and Echion? Echion was a bright, energetic child who was always happier leading his peers than sitting with them. It was a morning in the winter that someone slipped and he helped wrap their injury. Steady hands, a surety with his way, and a calm demeanor that screamed of where the boy was truly meant to be. It did not take long for Echion, at age 9, to be allowed to train in Healercraft. Echion began to dive in head first, excited and happy to roll with the punches that came with being a Healer.

Devoted to his work, the boy's hand was steady and comfortable, with a bedside manner that might make an accomplished Healer stare. He was always patient, even with difficult people and found himself able to handle complicated requests without a sweat, shadowing people willingly. It was hard work, required high dedication...but it came to a halt only 6 turns in to it. There was a sound, a blue dragon barging up to him that startled the boy in the middle of his work. Echion watched the creature circling, and when it landed, was one of many boys and girls that ran to look. At the tender age of 15, the boy was selected by the Blue and His to go to Western Weyr as a candidate.

Candidacy, he found, was the same type of routine he’d had in Healercraft. While he missed his craft terribly, there was something unique and exciting about the way their tasks worked, and about knowing that he would get the chance to Stand for a clutch one day. It was shortly after he turned 15 that a clutch was born, and he was on the sands for it. From the beginning, it was a usual clutch...at least until a Green launched herself from the shell. She was whirling about, angry and screeching, unable to be soothed. A few candidates ended up with injuries, until the angry female barreled her way in to Echion. She called him Hers, and from that day, his life would never be the same. Araeth was a demanding Hatchling, that gave him no quarter to do anything besides what she wanted.

Weyrling training was a struggle, the boy with the furious Green having to fight day by day to get through the task without her demanding absolute perfection from him. E’ion now had to handle His on a day to day basis as they worked through Weyrling training, staying barely abreast of her demands. Practice, feed her, be the best, the absolute best. The good things was that he balanced her out well, and she tended to eventually cave beneath the gentle hand of her Rider….sort of. With time. Graduation, E’ion thought, was the best thing to happen to them, he having thought that there was a likelyhood that he would never make it past. It freed him to go back to his studies in Healercraft. Despite Araeth’s squalls of protest, he dove back in to the thing that he loved with gusto.

It was through his Healercraft training that he met Leira, a girl from High Reaches that took his heart sooner than he would care to admit. She was lovely, and E’ion compared her to the stars themselves, and it took little time at all before he was trying to do anything and everything to impress her. Day and day again, he professed his feelings, took her on dates, flew to see her, hopelessly in love. Once his Journeyman status was made at 25, he decided, at last, to move himself to High Reaches to be with her. Why not? He was in love, and he thought she was too. Two years he had with her, blessedly happy with someone at his side. Even with Araeth warning him that this girl might not be all she seemed, E’ion was blind. Age 27, Leira found someone else. When she left him, it left the Rider in a place that he hardly understood, in a Weyr that he almost did not feel like was his own. He and Araeth were a good pair, true, but what was he here? Who was he here? He had a place in Western, and he’d given it up, all for her. All for that lovely Greenrider.

It was his Dragon that decided his moping would not do. With a grumble of irritation, Araeth pushed hers back in to training. Back in to working with her, Flying, learning themselves all over again. It was annoying, after all, to have a Rider with his head stuck in something that was not Her. A year of this, and once he was back on his feet, Araeth talked him in to, once again, reaching out to do something more, to carve himself a niche in this new Weyr. Assistant Candidatemaster. She told him that with his fondness for the little squishy ones, he would do well. Teaching was a suit of his that worked. It was not without quiet protest that E’ion applied for the position, and he was not without shock when he got it. Two years now, he has been the Asst. Candidatemaster. While his dragon is known for her temper and her selfish nature, he is known for a fair and gentle hand, carefully working to ensure that things run smoothly, working in hand with the Candidatemaster.

Name:
Araeth (VC: Cersei Lannister)
Age:
15 turns
Hatchday:
3562.05.25 - Maiden Flight
Sheyoth x Junenth
25 Eggs
Color:
Green
Size:
50'
Physical Description:
To the eye, Araeth is beautiful. She is twenty-five feet long, lithe and elegant with the bulk of her muscle in chest, tail, and neck. To the eyes of others, eyes that are constantly swirling between red and orange are a deterrent, if her larger size did not warn you away before. With age, she's only grown larger, with a rough hide and long claws that are more than ready to rend when necessary. Her hide is a mix between a bright green fading in to deep emerald, a tonal quality that her Rider seems to think is rather endearing. In the skies, she's a powerful flier thanks to larger wingspan, and well-developed muscles.
Personality:
Watch out, Hers, for Araeth is a force of nature. From the moment she burst from her shell, she was a whirling dervish of claws and fangs, demanding and furious. There is never a moment that the Green will take a break to listen to anyone but herself...or maybe Hers if he is good enough to keep her attentions. Everything should get out of her way, and a good day for the dragon comes in the form of grumbling instead of loud trumpets of displeasure. Believe her, there will never be a moment where you don't know exactly how she's feeling at any given point in time, and displeasure and fury seem to be the tones that often seem to gain voice. She is quick to bite and scratch when even the most minor irritation comes to her attention, and she thinks that Hers could stand to grow a bit of a spine. Not only will you know her emotions, but her thoughts. Rude or not, Araeth gives little care for the opinions of others, for as far as she's concern, they should be aware that her mind is the sharpest. Her honesty can often be seen as too much, even by the one that Impressed her, for she will be perfectly frank...even to Golds at times. While she might not be as bad a she was in her youth, this Green is not afraid to speak up for herself, and for Hers when the need arises!

Nothing seems to ever quite please her. Even the fattest heardbeast wouldn't be enough to satisfy her ever gloomy outlook on life. She doesn't understand the pleasant outlooks of others, for what is so great about a world in which Theirs constantly get hurt, and are far too squishy for their own good? Some might call them the protectors, but Araeth sees it as realistic to realize that there is no way that they can always keep Theirs safe. She has her reasons, but she is not much fun for other Dragons to be around, for she will always point out EXACTLY why you shouldn't be prancing about like a tiny foal who just learned how to walk. It's simply silly. There will never be a moment that Araeth will not strive to outlast even the larger dragons, fighting to keep up. No matter what, she is sure to take on the most dreary tasks with a single-minded determination that could terrify another. There is no hesitation or question in her mind that she and Hers will be the best at it. They must be, for if they are not, then she has failed. Araeth can not stand to fail. She takes to even instruction with this same drive, intent that whoever is under her wing will understand that there is no distraction. No stopping. No slowing.

C'yx (VC: Liam)
(Formerly Ceyx)
Age:
32 Turns
Nameday:
3546.13.09
(Age up Dec. 11)
Sex:
Male
Sexual Orientation:
Ace, prefers males romantically
Weyr: Western Weyr
Rider Rank:
Weyrsinger (Grounded)
Previous Rank/Craft:
Harpercraft (Journeyman)
Physical Description:
Slim, broad shouldered C'yx stands out from a crowd. Standing at about 6'2, he is built much as one might think an archer would be, with strong arms, lithe fingers, and powerful shoulders. He has an almost triangular shape, shoulders tapering in to a slim waist, and steady hips and long legs. From his face stare two slightly angled copper eyes, now milky with thick threadscoring around the eyes themselves. His skin is a warm olive, with a slight darker tint that comes from the days in the sun. Hair is a soft yellow, cut close to his head in waves that can sometimes be close curls depending on how long it has gotten. On top of the scars across his eyes, he has tattoos in an almost glittering blue that mark his lower back and hips, done to mimick waves, that are usually hidden by his clothing. He likes wearing bright sapphire, usually some kind of long tunic and brown pants. He is always wearing sapphire blue with silver trim.
Personality:
Perhaps it is typical for Harpers, but oh is it difficult to say no to C'yx when he's actually trying. Sweet natured normally, with an ease in finding words, the rider has never had an issue getting what he needs from someone. When he wants, he can sing like a siren. This comes with everyone, even the people he dislikes. C'yx is always the sort to have on a smile and a well-turned phrase, even when it seems like he might otherwise fall to pieces. He has a knack for understanding the mood of the room that only lends further to this charming, persuasive man. He tries charm people to do what he wants with whispered words in the ear. Sweet nothings roll off his tongue like honeyed sweets, sticky and warm. He knows how to gently pry and prod, while making it seem the most natural of things. Despite it, he's a sweet little thing. He likes to cuddle with those he cares for, lay his head in their lap, and receive scratches.

It almost seems like it is impossible to upset the man, his eyes bright, and his heart light. No matter the situation, he handles it with a poise that is nearly unnatural, never getting angry or unsettled, handling it rather better than most would expect. C'yx seems to understand how to take a breath and step back, to watch the situation from a distance before jumping in, and how to help instill this virtue in others. He practices the calm, and tries to pass it on to everyone so that they might find the same peace and happiness that he has found in the eye of the storm. He can handle even the most direct confrontation with a steady hand and a grin on his face, making him seem perhaps like someone who might indeed have gone far. He is a light to others as well. He knows well what his duties as a Weyrsinger entail, and he keeps himself smiling and content on the surface. He is always singing out, always seeming absolutely happy for himself and others. Every step is light and easy, and in the most sad moments, he tries to infuse a little bit of happiness in to every twist and turn of their life so that they can all feel what he supposedly feels.

One of his biggest issues, he will tell you, is that he may be bright, but one might insinuate that he might be too bright. He is able to take what he knows of people and push what he wants from them. It is simple....Use that bright smile and charming words to turn their head, and then use his wiles in order to ensure cooperation. It seems to have gotten more intense after he got blinded by thread, the boy occasionally wheedling people to assist him with things that he might not once have needed help with. He never finds himself without having to watch his back, founded or unfounded.

He's terribly frightened of most occurrences. The man is careful on who he uses his charms, always fretting over what might happen next. There are risks he takes daily now that he is blind, and he knows well that he has to ensure that the right things are done at the right time. He hesitates when approaching new situations, taking a moment to figure out what is happening before he decides to undertake it. He is also not in the habit of easily letting things go. C'yx has a hard time feeling anything but irritation and bitterness for other people who seem to have a rather better quality of life than he does. This has endured his whole life and comes more prominently as of being blinded.

Positive Trait List Charming, Calm, Bright
Negative Trait List Manipulative, Cautious, Jealous

History:
Ceyx was born to a rider mother and father, a Weyrbrat from the early stages of life. He was raised around other people, taught a measure of socialization that he believes most people don't get. He enjoyed playing with the other children, occasionally getting to spend time with his Mother and her Dragon, when she wasn't busy. It was around age 5 that he began to sing, doing it to soothe some of the younger children in the weybrat group of Western, taking to caring for them with a gentle hand, to help as he could. One of the other Weyrsingers heard this, and began to teach him the Harpercraft as best he could.

Ceyx took to it well, learning both violin, and flute, to go with a soft voice that was lowering to Tenor. He was apprenticed to a visiting harper when he was searched by one of the dragons in the weyr and became a candidate at 13 turns old. He missed Harper training far too much during his candidacy, singing along as he worked, or playing when he felt lonely. The boy took a lot of comfort in being near his fellows. Four turns would go by, and a chance or two to impress...Nothing. He began to worry quietly that something was wrong with him. He could not help the self-doubt that thrummed in his chest.

It wasn't until his sixth turn as a candidate, age 19, that he found himself Standing again....and had a grumpy little ball of beautiful blue barrel in to him. The yellow-eyed hatchling was so terribly distressed and began wailing at him about how everything was going all wrong. It took seconds for him to calm the dragonet...and another minute for the reality to sink in. He had Impressed. Iriseth and he were bonded. The two were proud riders, capable and devoted well to Western Weyr.

With C'yx's talent for music and lifting spirits, it was almost natural he fell in with the Weyrsingers, finding his place after his Weyrling training had completed. It brought him such joy to help others. When the thread fell again for the first time, the two of them took up to fight, eager and ready to do what they could to help, but one wrong banking meant that something terrible happened. A turn to the wrong direction had thread thrashing against C'yx's eyes, leaving the Rider screaming in pain as his Blue carried him swiftly back to the Weyr.

He has not yet managed to fully come to terms with it, only barely recovered from the wounds, the scars still an ugly red...Being grounded is his nightmare...and it devours him.

Name: Iriseth (VC: Chris Hemsworth)
Age:
12 turns
Birthdate:
3565.02.18
(Age Up Feb. 15)
Vimiath x Turoth
22 Eggs
Color: Blue
Size: 51'
Physical Description:
Iriseth is a beautiful blue, built small, but still powerfully, well muscled. His neck is longer, lithe, and his wingspan is wider still. Eyes seem to constantly swirl a yellow green, his nose scratched slightly from threadscore. His hide itself is mostly in tact, with only a slight scarring here and there. The color is a beautiful pale blue, threadded with tones of lighter blue and darker, seeming almost like the sea below. Iriseth's takes pride in his hide, so it is always well cared for, despite the two now being Grounded. His body is built for stamina and agility, the dragon able to last for longer bouts than he might otherwise be able.
Personality:
It's not that Iriseth complains for the sake of complaining. He just can't understand why everyone else seems to live in silly dragon happy land. It wouldn't be inaccurate to say that Iriseth might have been tragically born without a funny bone. Everything is serious for him, and he can't stand other dragons making light of things. Jokes? Forget about it, he doesn't even understand the concept. When his rider is in a bad mood, he's even worse. He'll retreat into a dark corner of his weyr and grow irritable, lashing out at anyone except His that dares come near.

But it isn't all gloom and doom with the dragon. He'll undoubtedly have something of a reputation for being a downer, but when his rider asks him to do something, he's there in a heart beat. His rider will never need to worry about his dragon's bitterness turning onto him. He rarely talks to other dragons except when needed, so his attention is always focused on His. He loves his rider relentlessly, and is always in their corner.

Ask Iriseth to do something, and he'll do it, no questions or debate. Iriseth is remarkably stable in a crisis- he just doesn't spook. This is the dragon you want on your side when things start going wrong. He never needs anything to be sugar coated for him. He's ready to do the hard jobs other dragons might flinch at, and his rider will need to be very careful not to ask too much of him.
He'll work himself into collapsing if he's allowed to.

Name:
Alumet - (VC: Daenerys)
Age:
22
Nameday:
3555.08.20
(Age Up August 04)
Sex:
Female
Sexual Orientation:
Heterosexual
Craft:
Harpercraft Apprentice
Rank:
Weyrling
Location: High Reaches Weyr
Physical Description:
If there is one thing that Alumet is aware of, it is that she is beautiful, much in the way her mother is. Her hair is a soft, bright strawberry blonde, long and slightly waved. Her eyes are a quiet gray with a bit of mischief always sparkling in the corners. Standing at about 5'8", she has long legs, and a soft hourglass figure, a rounded, almost cherubic face. Her hips are curvy, and her bust an ample size, a trait she takes pride in. Her face is always accented by a styled bun, with usually one or two braids in it. Her clothing is always carefully picked to slightly accentuate the appearance that she is proud to have inherited from her mother.

Personality:
There is not a single place that the girl walks that it is not clear that she owns herself and the hall she is in. She exhudes an air of knowing herself and those around her, sometimes better than she actually does. That confidence comes in everything she does. Alumet approaches everything with a grace and finesse that makes it seem as though she is ready and able to do just about everything, even if she has no idea what it is. With people, it seems as though she has no fear, happy to talk to even those who don't have people around them, no fear, no doubt.

You will hardly ever find a frown on her lips. Alumet is always in a good mood, smiling, singing, or laughing. Even when she is upset or angry, she tries to coat it behind the same joviality that the rest of her life has twisted in to its threads. She's always ready with a sweet word, or a good joke, trying to infuse everyone with the same joy that she sees in the day-to-day wonder. Even if you are rude, or aggressive, it seems not to break her stride in the least. To the end, those who make it past all her layers of defenses will find a woman loyal to the core, willing to fight to the death. First and foremost, this is for her family, but if you make it in to Alumet's tight inner circle...you will be quickly included. No matter what you do, you will have her at your back.
While she might always tell you exactly what she is THINKING about what you'r doing, she will never turn her back on you because of it.

That loyalty can come with a bit of a price. She can tend to be extremely overprotective. People will find her standing a bit too close, or taking on their battles. There's a thought she has that the people around her need someone to help fight their battles. Whether true or not, she seems to always take it to her mind that it is her job to ensure their safety. She doesn't often take in the advice of others once she's in that state of thought.

The girl has a bit of an obsession with the way she looks, and anyone who tries to be with her will often find themselves subject to the same scrutiny that she subjects herself to. Alumet is very vain, and cares deeply about not only physical appearance, but how she seems to others. If someone views her in a poor light, she tends to freak out. She'll fight to change it to a more positive outlook no matter the cost. In that, what Alumet thinks of as her worst trait comes to light. She prefers it when things go her way, and can get aggressive if she feels that someone is going against the way things should be. Her mentality of how things should be revolves around her own intentions and values, though, so it can be skewed.

Positive Trait List
Confident, Jovial, Loyal
Negative Trait List
Overprotective, Vain, Overbearing

History:
Born to a once Courtesan, Aluisa, and a Blacksmith, Cahlumet, Alumet was the middle child of the pair, younger sister to Cahlusi. She was born in to a tiny mining hold that, in all honesty, she doesn't remember. After all, how is a girl to remember the home and father she barely knew? The most she recalls is her mother scooping her up, gently shushing her, as they ran. She remembers the feeling of her hand in her brother's, her mother's warmth, and running. She remembers the rider that found them. Other than that, the most memory she has of her father is the smell of the forge, and the roughness of his hands.

As far as Alumet is concerned, she is a weyrbrat and always has been. When they arrived at High Reaches and she began to meet the other children, she was more often seen hiding behind her big brother, but came out to play quickly, interested in making friends. Her favourite people as a child, however, were adults, because sometimes they would fawn and fuss, and she enjoyed the attention. Even as a little girl, Alumet loved being in the limelight, and as long as someone was paying attention? She was happy.

Her brother was the one she would always run back to at first, though. Whenever she felt nervous, uncomfortable, or upset, her little fingers would cling to his clothing, and she would tuck herself to his back. It took almost until she was five turns for her to spend more than an hour away from him. After all, they came to the weyr together. Why would she want to be around anyone but the people she knew? After the initial shyness wore off, she began to make friends, and got accepted in to the fold of the High Reaches Weyrbrats.

As she grew, she would follow her brother's lead and make friends with some of the Weyrsingers. Her own voice was always pretty, clear and sweet, and she took to learning the craft with absolute wonder. She loved to sing, and took to string instruments as well. She became apprenticed under a Harper around her 10th turn, and took to it like a fish to water. The thought of LEAVING to go to Harpercraft hall, though...to leave and miss her brother, her mother, and her chance to Impress? Those did not appeal to her in the least. She is overly attached to her family, and will not leave them for ANYTHING. This did not stop her from learning at the Weyr.

She sang and danced, enjoying the movement and life that came from it, and becoming rather attached to the thought of being a Harper...and then, when she got to stand for a Clutch. Watching the little dragonets, she found herself completely stunned and in awe. Watching people Impress, and being there on the sands, she decided right there and then that she would want to be a Rider herself. Why not? It would be such a delightful change.

The Thread's return marked her fearful, but determined. The least she could do was try to impress, to help the Weyr and it's people as best she...

Okay, so she wants to become a Rider to help keep her family safe, is that so bad? Her devotion means that there is little room for much else. She may flirt, and play with some of the local boys and girls, but the thought of commitment is nearly laughable to her right now.

The last thing Alumet expected to happen when she stood for Uridith's clutch after the touching was Impression. To be completely honest, watching her brother Cahlusi impress was like ripping out her heart, leaving her feeling like she might be left alone on the sands, and with the other Candidates. The very last thing she expected as she turned to walk away was the voice of a beautiful Gold reaching in to her mind. Gold Zenobiath was Alumet's perfect match, no questions about it, a motherly creature with a knowledge of her station, and a confidence to match Alumet's own. Now, the blonde can hardly think of a life without her precious little one. How could she have ever doubted?

(Age Up June 23)
Color: Gold
Size: 95'
Physical Description:
In her heart of hearts, everyone wants to be taken care of-- and Zenobiath knows just how to do it. She is the quintessential mother, a true queen of queens who believes in the concept of noblesse oblige. Or rather, that those with great power have an obligation to look after those who look to them. Those who stand against Zenobiath will be handled with all of the grace of a great lady in her own home, a matriarch who uses shame rather than simple brute force to get her way. Those who harm her rider or anyone that she cares for will discover that they have gotten between a mother bear and her cubs, and face her wrath.

Rather than facing them head on, she will cut them to ribbons with the edge of her tongue, "oh bless your heart." In general she is a fairly genteel lady who simply wants to be given the courtesy she feels that she deserves. Every color of dragon has their place in the world, and there's nothing to be ashamed of in enjoying one's role. Those who rail against the natural order of things will find an uphill battle in her native High Reaches, and it's no wonder. If they would just recognize the value of their contribution to the Weyr and society they would be content.

At the end of the day, Zenobiath is not out to advance herself. If anything, she is most interested in seeing to it that her rider rises through the ranks or achieves real success in whatever they choose to do. She, after all, is a Gold dragon, and as such she's already at the pinnacle of success, to her view. She can be a little vain at times, for who could help her? She considers herself to be descended from a great lineage, and no one could convince her otherwise.

Ah, the gift of the tiny flit egg was not one that she or her Gold were expecting, but it was dropped off in her weyr, and since? Name:
Kutar (Koo-Tahr)
Age:
46
Nameday: (added in cuz why not)
3531,06.14
(Age Up Jun 03)
Sex:
Female
Sexual Orientation:
Homosexual
Weyr:
Western Weyr
Rider Rank:
Wingrider for Firestorm Wing// Mind Healer Journeyman
Previous Rank/Craft:
Healercraft Mindhealer
Physical Description:
5'10" tall, Kutar is a lovely sight from afar. Even going in to her fourties, dark skin is still lovely, but rife with scarring from her years as a Dragonrider. Dark hair is toned dark brown, with layers cut in that is usually done in a tight braid that goes to mid back, then done up in a bun. She knows well the perils of long hair when you ride and fight Thread. Her skin is toned darkly, a copper-bronze tone that her Green just coos over. Unfortunately, while she looks younger than she is, the scars she's gotten on neck and face are pretty distinct. Her figure itself is well toned and muscled, from years of weyrwork and being a rider, Generally, she can be seen dressed in soothing shades of tan or brown, she prefers to tone herself down for the sake of her patients.
Personality:
Elegance in simplicity. Kutar is a woman who's calm and composed in almost every matter of her life. Some may think her unflappable, due to the fact that this woman seems to always have a pleasant smile on her face, and a kind word for all. She's almost motherly in the way she handles men and women alike, with a gentle hand and a warm tone. It's a sense of calm that washes off of her in waves, almost infectious in its very nature. She's the type you'd want by your bedside. Kutar watches her words very carefully, choosing every one with extreme caution and care. Her intent is always clear, never shrouded behind anything other than the soft veil that she seems to keep over everything.

However just because she is calm and kind? Does not mean that this woman does not have a tame mind. There is a razor sharp wit behind those golden eyes, and she is not afraid to use it at every chance she gets. More than capable of keeping up with even the most silver-tongued bronzerider. Kutar is the sort to easily talk circles around the most accomplished of the Pernese scholars, and the only one known to have beat her is a man she's not seen in many a turn. She's well read, preferring the company of a good book to the company of others, enjoying silence and peace more than the feasts and loud parties that she sees atimes.

Kutar doesn't want to let people have any control of her thanks to the fact that she's just that proud. On a day to day basis, she can come off as being a bit too self-reliant, due to a steadfast belief that she really CAN do it.....it just may take a lot longer. The only time she'll accept help is if it causes her to all but break down. She can work with other Riders if she has to, but it's a lot more energizing to her to be creative on her own, and get to play with her own ideas. Even under someone else's control, she'll tend to venture off into her own business, doing only what her part is, and really nothing else, simply because it's not her thing. The downside to being a mindhealer, however, is that her job can often lead to her getting overwhelmed by larger groups of people. She tends to try to focus on everyone she's around or with, and when you're trying to analyze that many people, you can often get a headache. The sensitivity to others emotion can cause her to get nervous, and begin to babble. Babbling becomes something of a nuisance, since it generally tends to bring out words that irritate people, and this only makes her more anxious. The feeling builds until she usually ends up running off. She will often leave to find somewhere nearby until she's calmed down, and once she's managed to calm again, usually run back with some excuse or another.

She also can be stubborn about changing her schedule. She has a strict way things are done, and it's a part of her life. Routine is lovely, and though she can variate from it on her own volition, if someone changes her plans for her, she gets upset. It's not their place to change her stuff, and if they do, she'll get angry, and usually argue with them about the change til she's blue in the face. She's almost lost some dear friends over this, and gotten into fights with her parents thanks to it. The pair who raised her might be pretty relaxed, but schedule was one thing that the girl and her family never really saw eye-to-eye about. When discussing opinions, so long as they're not being forced upon her, Kutar can be rather lenient, usually letting people slide by it. Though if you're forcing it, be ready for her to tell you just how WRONG you are.

Positive Trait List Calm, Kind, Well-Read
Negative Trait List Proud, Over-empathetic, Stubborn

History:
In the start of it all, Kuline of Keroon met Arotar, a caravan merchant and Rider in Keroon hold. The two of them seemed to hit it off immediately, the man a charmer, with a sweet smile and wicked gaze. Kuline found herself all too absorbed in his nature, enough that as soon as Arotar suggested he was going to leave, Kuline decided to follow. She and her Runnerbeast followed the man she fell in love with, and on their way between holds, Kuline found herself with child. His Brown was nurturing, intrigued by his lifemate's mate. The child born of this union was born on the road, and it was a celebration. Kutar was a quiet thing, even from birth.

She learned of exotic spices and herbs, things children who are not born on the road do not have a chance to see. She was raised with a brown dragon that played a gentle game of chase, that would nudge her and gently correct her when she would go the wrong way. Kutar was raised in love, with both parents, a runnerbeast, and Seyenth by her side...and people to look at. Her fascination with people started early, the child wanting to see what made them the way they were. She always wanted to know who someone was at the core, why they did what they did, and so she poked and prodded.

It would get her in trouble a time or two, with people that she barely knew, with those that might otherwise find themselves more private. Fortunately, she came in to contact with a new joiner-on to the caravan who happened to specialize in Healercraft. Jonnas could recognize the signs in Kutar that her family had not seen, and began to teach the girl, happy and sure of himself. It would go on like this until Kutar was well in to her apprenticeship. She also became an accomplished rider of her mother's Runnerbeasts, and learned dragon care from her father, which would come in handy in a short time. She was late in to her teens, somewhere in the realm of her 16th Turn, when a searchrider from Western found her. The decision to join the world of Western Wey was swiftly made, and she went with. It was exciting, though staying in one place would prove a struggle in her turns of Standing.

Turn after turn would come and pass, until, during her 20th turn, an imperious bugling call from the sands would distract Kutar from where she sat, helping some of the candidates who were upset by the lack of Impression. Kutar, your Wrenth is TIRED of waiting! Come take me away from here. I wish to have food. It was a shock, but in that moment, it was perfect. The Imperious Green and her Rider were one. Wrenth would demand much of hers' attention, knowing well that Kutar would devote her mind to others if she had the chance.

Well, one way or another, the two found a balance and became strong riders in their wing. By the time Wrenth was three turns, Hers got a bit antsy, and took to travelling again. Kuutar took several turns to perfect her craft as a Mindhealer before going back to Western during her 34th turn. It helped her feel more comfortable, feel more like herself. It was in this position she sat when Thread fell for the first time. Thread fell, she and Wrenth fought like the others, and then came back to the aftermath. Since threadfall, she spends more of her time trying to help those affected, talking to them, helping their minds as best she can. While she is itching to travel once more, for now, she will stay where she is

DRAGON
Name:
Wrenth
Age:
26
Hatchday: (Because I did it once so why not XD)
3551.03.28 - Visiting Queen
Tanth x Borlith (brown)
Color:
Green
Size:
55'
Physical Description:
To be honest, Wrenth knows that she's imposing. A green whose size is towards the larger, the female is made of coiled muscle built over 22 turns of fighting with Hers. Her hide is deep green, so dark that were she not so bulky, she could be a stealth fighter against the night sky. The most anyone will see is those bright usually orange eyes, sometimes whirling with other tones like purple or green, and then she's on top of you. Proportionately, she looks rather lovely, with even length between neck, body and tail, with her head being just a bit longer, and her headknobs distinct against her head.

Personality:
Wrenth can do things on her own, thank you very much. She has, ever since she was a little hatchling, loved being able to do what she wanted, be independent of the world , and only have to worry about herself. It's been easy for her to accomplish this with hers being the way she is, and with her being a big Green and all. Allowed to do what she wanted to do, she became very intent on independence, and holding to it. The thing about it is that she's never the sort to let people outside certain few take the reigns. Why? Because. She feels she was born with them in her hands. She can occasionally hold grudges when others try to tell her she can't handle herself, though most of the time, by the next morning, she's forgotten all about it, and moved on.

A spitfire of a Green is a perfect princess. She's the type that will always show you a little of what she's made of in the way she moves and talks. She's got a proud streak a mile wide and while some might think her any way but perfect? Wrenth knows better. This dragon can go from flirtatious to angry in a heartbeat, and you never really want to see what it means to get on her bad side. However, this fire puts a passion into everything she does. Her life and love is chasing lovely lady greens, and crooning to those that Hers tends to as a Mindhealer. She wants to help, and be acknowledged for all she does.

On top of that, Wrenth is a hopeless romantic. She wants to have many romances that last, despite what complications might arise from this. She adores the thoughts of flights in the starlight, and eventually settling down with a mate and a full weyr, but knows that it's all something that she's not yet been able to find. Wrenth is a dreamer, the sort to sit in the middle of a field and just let her mind wander. Which...when she's in wing drills and letting Kutar adjust her and send the ideas so that she can drift off and let herself think. What can she say? She'd rather be able to do whatever she wants.

Shiloh (VC: Inara Serra)
Age:
21 Turns
Nameday:
3556.09.06
(Age Up August 18 )
Sex:
Female
Sexual Orientation:
Heterosexual
Craft:
Dolphincraft
Rank:
Apprentice
Location:
High Reaches Weyr
Physical Description:
Shilohi is a rather pretty young thing. Her hair is a deep blonde, with strokes of copper and platinum streaking it, giving it dimension as it falls about her shoulders. It brushes her mid-back at its lowest length, and curves up over her shoulders to meet on the outer ends at her shoulder blades. Her eyes are a deep green, flecked with touches of gold and copper as it rings her pupil, gently touched by long, dark lashes. The shape is very almond-like, and set deep. She always seems to have slight bags under her eyes though. Her skin is tanned from her like to be outside, and her old work with Dolphincraft, and slightly roughened, with a few scars here and there, the most noticeable a strike across her cheek that's marked from a small animal she took home to care for. Her hands are calloused, with long fingers. She stands at 5'9" tall, and is has a very proud bearing, with an even length between torso, legs, and arms, leaving her very lithe and well-toned.
Personality:
[+/-] I'll Always Find a Way || Resourceful
Cleverness lends its hand to this Dolphincraft apprentice who's been standing for a good three turns. Since her childhood, Shi's work with Dolphins and weather has taught her that stepping back and taking a distanced perspective on things, especially a problem or block in progress, is a good way to see solutions you'd have never seen otherwise. People and beasts alike never go in a straight line, and you have to be able to look at things as a whole in order to be able to create something new. In Shiloh's mind, this means being able to apply her own form of creativity to every aspect of her life. From candidate chores, to just cleaning up her space in the morning, she has developed particular ways of doing things stemming from solutions she's created from her experience.

Her resourcefulness, however, is both a blessing and a curse. Though it lends her a creative eye, and a rather quick wit, it can get her into trouble at times. Why? Because she'll use her resourcefulness to get around problems that she doesn't want to deal with. This lends to her being rather good with words, and though she doesn't lie often, if Shi feels truly backed into a corner, she might, in order to get out of the sticky place she's found herself in. She will do her best to find the small cracks and pull them together to her advantage, or offer something in turn for forgiveness....whatever seems the most logical.

[+/-] You Can Follow Me || Dynamic
Shi also learned something from the Dolphins themselves...How to be a natural born leader. Within her personality is this spark of dynamic warmth that comes from deep within. She's honestly kind-hearted once you get past her basic tendencies to overreact to certain situations. She's very much the sort to give you a pat on the back for a job well done, and a ready smile once you're in her good graces. Shi might be a very tentative person, and hard to get past when it comes to her defenses, but once you are, it's rather clear that she's the type to be able to hold your attention, and command a room with her voice alone. Not that she's perfect, or completely capable with this yet, oh god no. She still finds herself doubting her own talent every now and again, and this can draw her usually outgoing personality to a slight fault.

However, she seems to be the sort to be able to gather the respect and attention she wants for the most time, and can easily show her own qualities of leadership. No matter how much she tends to fumble over her intention, she still will continue to ensure that she does what's best for those who care for her, and thus, she cares for in turn.

[+] To the Ends of the Earth || Loyal
Yet another quality that stems from her childhood. When you work with animals that exist to work WITH you, you learn a thing or two about loyalty. Granted, her view might be slightly skewed, but nonetheless, she knows that she can't leave those for whom she cares behind. Despite her suspicions and other parts of her nature, she will stand by those she loves with a ferocity that will surprise most. Shiloh knows full well that you can't just let someone who relies on you down, and you need to be able to hold the trust of those who trust you. She's not truly able to turn her back on her friends, and will often be the first at their sides. There's only one other group she'll ever be truly loyal to...and that's her Wing, when she Impresses at least.

She knows for a fact that if you don't ensure that you do what you're required, as well as the things you're asked, for those who need you, you'll often end up with those who do naught but desert you. Loyalty is a standard she will hold to, once it's been earned, and she is one of the most steadfast friends you can ask for.

[+/-] What Is It... || Obsessive
A thing that can be quite a hindrance, however, is Shi's obsessive quality. Not only does she pour herself into any task with a drive that can be almost frightening, she will push at this until it is where she feels it's perfect. She focuses intently on the person, task, or item that she's become intrigued by, until she feels that it's either mastered or well known enough that she can back down for the time being. She's driven away potential love interests before due to her own rather inquisitive nature, and the fact that her questions can be prying and obtrusive in nature. She's often seen following those who've caught her interest as well, leading to a bit of a tentative nature around her, though this has become a bit more easy over the years.

However, there is an upside to her obsession. It leads to her being so devoted to her tasks that they end up done in completion. Be they her candidate tasks, or just something so small as delivering a message to someone in Monaco, Shiloh will always give it her all. All her heart goes into these things, and she's completely driven into it.

[-] Where Are You From? || Suspicious
There is one thing that is certain. Until Shiloh knows you...you're not likely to get much out of her. Intrinsically, this girl is very much against outsiders, both in her life, and in the Weyr. As such, she treats them in a slightly frosty, hostile manner. She can show a range of emotions towards people who she's not familiar with, ranging from hostile, to simply giving them the cold shoulder. Though she's wise enough not to mouth of to anyone above her, she's been known to treat other candidates like they were touched, often giving them the stink eye, and giving sharp, curt responses. It takes a driven person to get past her suspicions, and she's learned, over her time at the Weyr, that she needs to act nice, to know more. So there's the ones she sees as a plague, and those who...well, as they say, keep your friends close...and your enemies closer.
History:
Now, Shiloh wasn't born in the Weyr. She was born in Rubicon River Weyr, in Dolphincraft Hall. As such, since birth, the young girl was almost instantly used to animals being by her side. Seeing Dolphins all around, and learning about the sea and weather, Shi had more than enough time to learn interaction skill with other people, and form a tight family bond with both herself, and the dolphins that her mother and father worked with. An only child, she spent much time watching her Father and his partner, and her mother and hers, learning quickly the values of bonding, and of trust. She was taught from a very young age that most of your life revolves around trusting those you know...and giving people a chance to slip past your defenses.

She had only just begun her own training in Dolphincraft....when their crafthall hit misfortune when the Thread fell, and this was where her feelings towards others came into play. In the flurry of panic that came from the people, she saw things that honestly agitated her. People threw friends and family alike to the side, as they rushed for some kind of haven, people got hurt. People died. Clinging to her parents, she was ushered into a safe-hold, where they lasted out the entirety of the Fall. This incident left a rather nasty taste in Shiloh's mouth, and a rather distinct dislike for anyone she wasn't familiar with.

It was only shortly after Shi's 16 turn mark, as she helped with the aftermath as best she could, that she was Searched by a Bluerider. This was an odd moment for her and her family, as her intent was to continue her training, but her eagerness overcame her doubts. Something about her wanted to see what the skies might have in store. So within that moment, she took the Rider's hand and was brought to High Reaches to try to Impress her own Dragon, in becoming a Candidate. Shiloh has since stood for one Clutch in which she did not impress. The girl believes with all her heart that some day, she will find a partner with whom she can develop her own way amongst the Dragon Riders, and in the Skies.

Name: Isilje (VC:Peebee)
Age:
19
Nameday:
3558.01.03
(Age Up Jan. 3)
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation:
Pansexual
Craft:
Weavercraft Apprentice
Rank:
Wingrider - Fire Storm
Location:
Western Weyr

Physical Description:
Physically, Isilje stands apart from most candidates. She is small in stature, standing at only 5'2" tall, and expected not to grow further. Her build is sylph-like at best, lithe and willowy, though it hides a strength that the girl keeps mostly to herself. Her hair and brows are both white as fresh snowfall, and even her eyelashes are of the same tone, striking, even from a distance. Hair is usually kept in a tight braid, and loose over the back of her neck to cover flesh. Her eyes are almond shaped, and wide, giving her an almost innocent, doe-eyed look. Toned a blue-violet, they can put some people off.

When out and about, she wears traditional clothing, though it is usually white or gray, and she always seems to have a scarf wrapped about her head and neck to cover her from harsher sunlight. She has adapted to the need that her body has, and makes her own clothing to cope.

**Note: Isilje suffers from a manageable form of Oculocutaneous albinism. The primary physical effects are a particular susceptibility to sun damage on her skin - which she has learned to control with clothing that meshes well with the normal wear around the Weyr - and photosensitivity in her eyes. The latter is a bit harder to manage, and often occludes the vision by about 10-20% when exposed to indirect sunlight. In direct light, it can sometimes get up to 40%, depending on whether she has the ability to bring her scarf down to help lessen the effect.

Personality:
Isilje is the kind of person that is always easy to be around. She's always ready to help the people around her see the best in themselves with a quiet voice and bright smile. She's the type to take in injured animals and try to get them to a healer to get back to health, to try to make people and beast alike feel better any way she can. Even on the roughest day, she's got a story to cheer someone up, or will offer gentle hugs and sometimes just some physical company to ensure that her friends go on their day feeling even just a little bit better.

It is terribly rare to see her frown, her lips usually turned up in a bright smile. Sadness doesn't suit her, nor do any of the other negative emotions, and she tends to try to put a bright spin on it all. Why not, after all? Everyone deserves to feel HAPPY and special for at least a little while! There is always something good about even the gloomiest day, and it's hard to bring her down. Once something is in her head, she goes for it. Whether it is out of her reach or not. She will always strive to get things done, from the simplest task demanded of her, to something someone politely asked. Everything is done with the same zest for life that she shows in other parts of her life. This can get out of hand, however, and she can tend to push her intentions on people, unaware that they wish to be left alone. Sometimes her cheerful disposition can come across as overbearing or too much in general.

However, such cheer masks a severe level of anxiety. Having the physical differences she does from others, as well as the downsides to her condition, she has not experienced much ease. Honestly, she's always been anxious. When she was young, it was about going outside, being safe, then her Craft, and now she's been searched! It keeps her on her toes, often more likely to stutter or stumble over her words, and tear up, constantly nervous. Fights are something she attempts to avoid at all costs as well. When it comes to stepping up to someone who's causing trouble, or to someone yelling, Isilje is more likely to bow her head and accept it, rather than stand against it. Perhaps it's the anxiety that fuels it, but she would sooner hide from interpersonal conflict than face it head on. She can handle it if it's not directed at her, but the moment that it is? She's like a frightened rabbit.

Positive Trait List Kind, Cheerful, Driven
Negative Trait List Anxious, Non-confrontational, Overeager

History:
When she was born, there were whispers. Her mother gave her to her aunt to raise, and her father....well, he wasn't around much. She was never told why she was without a father, but her mother would constantly tell her that he didn't matter. That her daughter wasn't going to be with her for long anyways. By her third turn, that would prove quickly to be true. Despite a rough beginning, Isilje was raised the next turns of her life in love. Her aunt, a Master Weavercraft woman, took the child in and clothed her. It was in this craft that the girl would be raised. By the time she was walking, she was being taught caution, taught how to keep herself out of the sun, and how to make the things she would need to keep her well.

Some part of her dove in to learning, and despite her condition, she found delight in the company of other kids. Children could occasionally be cruel, but she was nonetheless content with her lot in life. Weavercraft fascinated her, learning how to make specialized garments for people that needed them...Her aunt was devoted to this. It would be when she was 11 that things would take a turn for the better and worse all at once. A bluerider came, Searching, and the dragon found her. What was frightening to the girl was the man on his back. The man was a bit surprised at his Dragon's choice, but Isilje was quick to accept. Her aunt had told her so much about the chance to be a Rider! How could she pass it up?

For the last 4 turns, she's lived with High Reaches' candidates, and worked to ensure that she got stronger and more able with each passing day. What she never expected was going to Western to Stand for a clutch. It was bloody, horrifying her despite knowing well what Dragons could do to a candidate, especially out of the shell...and then there was a lovely white hide, and glimmering rainbow eyes. White Brancath chose her, and Isilje is still coming to terms with this.

Other:

DRAGON
Name:
Brancath
Age:
5 Turns
Hatchday:
3573.12.12
Vimiath x Blundarth
Fianth x Ruvath
25 Eggs
Color:
White
Size:
35'
Physical Description:
Brancath is a very willowy white. She has petite bones, a long frame, and seems to be made up more of neck and tail than anything else. She is delicate, but don't be fooled -- she is not sickly, nor is she some damsel-in-distress. She is strong, and quick, and can carry more than you think!
Personality:
Brancath wants you to know, ladies, that she loves you, and she isn't afraid to admit as much. For being such a small dragon, Brancath has one of the largest hearts in the clutch. She may be small in stature, but she will be protective of her clutchmates from the get go. They are her family, and she will want to ensure that no one brings them down. This same protectiveness goes to her rider, as well as any other female dragons or weyrfolk -- big or small. Come, little ones, lay your weary load down at Brancath's feet, and let her comfort you. Those who are ill, tired, scared, sad, or alone will always find a comforting wing. She will not turn any of her sisters and female kin from her, and will be ever vigilant as she guards them.

Those who get to know Brancath will find a protective friend and companion. Those she dubs hers will be checked in upon regularly, to ensure that they are being cared for. She will whisk away those who are in need, and is always happy to adopt a new charge. She is not afraid of bullies or those larger than she, and Brancath's protectiveness can turn hostile and violent if she believes something must be escalated. Those who harm her rider, or her friends and loves, will find Brancath's teeth or claws, and if nothing else, be torn to pieces through cleverly crafted words.

This white isn't afraid of anything...but she does rather loathe males.

No one can say why, but Brancath was born with a natural prejudice, mistrust, and overall distaste for males. This extends mostly with dragons, but you can bet she might give the side eye to any male friends Isilje meets. While she can be cordial to them, work with them, and otherwise be in their same vicinity, she will not seek them out willingly unless she must. She simply does not trust them -- just look at the Weyr. Even in Western, how many Wingleaders are men? In High Reaches, the only women (outside of gold riders) that may rise up in rank are those who fly male dragons! Her rider will need to try to get her white to better cooperate with males, though it is doubtful Brancath will ever truly trust them.

An emotional creature at her heart, this white will lean on her rider when times are tough. She tries to be strong on the outside, to take on her clutchmates problems, to ensure her rider is always happy; but sometimes, it does get too much. When life is hard, she might fall into a depression; when she is criticized, she might turn to rage; when she is overwhelmed, the Weyr might hear about it; and should she (or her rider) be wronged, she will hold it against them until she has been able to take them down and make them suffer. Her rider may want to try to discourage this behavior, but Brancath does rather enjoy the dish known as revenge. She'll serve it up hot or cold, and be pleased at all the misfortune that might befall her enemies. She isn't so pure as to not make deals with others to ensure she and her rider get a bit of schadenfreude. Either way, if you go on Brancath's bad list, good luck getting off of it -- she will wait as long as she must until the time is right to cut you down to size.

Name: Wren (VC: Tom Hiddleston)
Age:
20
Nameday:
3557.03.14
(Age Up March 11)
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Homosexual
Craft: Apprentice Jewelcrafter
Rank: Wingrider - Firestorm
Location: Western Weyr
Physical Description:
Standing at 5'4" tall, Wren is on the smaller side for an adult male. With a lithe figure, almost sylph-like, he borders on the edge of androgynous. His hair is long, falling to his shoulder blades and colored a pale blonde. Eyes of blue peer out from under long lashes, set against his face in an almond shape, with a slightly upturned nose. At the least, he is well toned, and tends well to his appearance. Generally, he is clad in darker colors, thinking it compliments his pale skin well. On his back shoulder is a tattoo in glittering gold ink that spans from the middle of his spine, up over his right shoulder, and a bit on to his chest. He has both his right n****e and his belly button pierced, out of personal choice, as well as both ears, all four usually dripping with gold or silver, and gems.

Personality:
One thing that Wren was raised well with, and has had since birth, was a sharp mind. The boy is almost like a tactician, with a brain that is capable of understanding puzzling situations and coming up with a creative ending. He enjoys games of wit and playing word-games with other candidates when he gets a chance. He enjoys logic puzzles as well, spending his more private time creating small puzzles, to allow his own brain to get a moment's reprieve from going about a million miles a minute. He loves being given new challenges, and will often take on more difficult tasks, if only for the sake of not getting bored. This intelligence leads him to begin to stick his nose in to things...Anything. He is inherently curious, wanting to know everything about everyone, at every time. Mostly because people are curious. Their mannerisms and natures.

Wren is absolutely curious about anyone and anything. He wants to understand how things work and why, and wants nothing less than the absolute truth of things. His curiosity drives everything he does, from looking at everything during his duties, to poking people about their history. It means that he takes everything in to his own mind, figuring out whatever tasks he's given with clear devotion. Speaking of, there is nothing that Wren would not do for the people he cares about. Once you are within the boy's inner circle, he becomes as devoted to you as possible. He would happily take anything on for the people he loves so that they can be happy.

This leads to Wren being a bit intense. His emotions are always 0 or 100% and it's rare for them to be anywhere in between. With the fact that the jeweler follows his heart rather than his head, he can get in to a lot of trouble sometimes stepping in or up where he doesn't belong. He lets himself be led around by these emotions and this wears him out terribly quickly. He swears his perfectionism came from Jewelercraft, but anyone who's known him for a long time can say that it is what drove him to the work. Any tasks he undertakes is met with a scrutinizing eye.

He is insistent that he is allowed to look over whatever is before him, and will sometimes involve himself for hours to ensure that a task is done to absolute perfection. Not a spot is left, not a single piece out of place, when you allow Wren to REALLY get at something. He becomes hyperfocused and can get irritable when he feels ignored. With people, Wren does not like being left alone. In fact, if he finds a partner, they will find themselves with an emotionally clingy young man. He needs validation from the people closest to him, and will often beg for their attention if he feels he has been left alone too long.

Positive Trait List Intelligent, Curious, Devoted
Negative Trait List Intense, Perfectionist, Clingy

History:
He was the son of a courtesan and a Holder, that his mother kept secret from his father. The fact of the matter was the Wren was never in his mother's custody. She raised him only as long as it took to ensure that he would be healthy. If you asked the woman, she would tell you that it was because she felt she couldn't work with him hanging around her. So, when she met a rider in Ista, she passed him off to the Rider and his dragon, begging him to take it.
As such, Wren has been raised a Weyrbrat since he was about 2 turns old. Raised in Ista weyr, he was quick to make friends, and by the time he was 6 turns, he knew what his Craft would be. He fell in absolute love with. Smithcraft, focusing specifically on Jewelry. His hands began to work swiftly, and he fell absolutely in love, only spurred on by his father.

Shortly in to his seventh turn, they moved, the Weyrbrat flying with his father from Ista Weyr to Western. Sure, it was hard to leave everything behind, but he'd been 7. It hardly mattered. He dove in to his passion there, learning as much as he needed to in order to become as efficient as he could with the skill. It was barely in to his apprenticeship that he was called to be a candidate, and it was with eager excitement, at age 14, that he took to being more than just a Weyrbrat and apprentice. There was a new light and life to him in candidacy...at least until the thread came back recently.

Since the return, there is a tension between he and L'an as to him impressing a dragon. Wren is still intent on it, wanting to help like his father and the Green...even if L'an is hesitant. So it's gone, with Wren Standing, and L'an standind watch. In his Candidacy, Wren found a fondness and fascination with a Bronzerider, N'ceph of Bronze Riventh. He flirted and played, but it took the Flight of Gold Killakeeth to put them in bed together. That was wonderful~. It was delightful.

What Wren hadn't expected was to be put in a new situation. Sands as usual...Sands, Standing....Dragon? Enter Nimrath. A Bronze. A new life. Six months without contact~.

Name: Nimrath
Age: 2 Turn
Clutch:
Killakeeth x Teth
37 Eggs :: 3575.06.12
Ace Flag Egg: A small egg that seems utterly, terribly, most magnificently... bored.
Adult Size: 70'
Physical Attributes: Nimrath is a sleek, but small bronze, close in size to his twin brother, who tops out at 70'. He's quite eye-catching, and well aware of it. Look a little longer, if you please. He'll just spread his shiny wings and show off just what a babe he is.

Personality: Although Nimrath struggles to budge himself from a comfortable ledge, he is deeply curious about what is going on down below! This bright, engaged young fellow has apparently never realized just how utterly unwelcome he is right in the thick of things, trying to be in the middle of whatever is going on. He is a relentless gossip, always fascinated by whatever rumor is currently making its rounds. Oh, does so and so look like she's shining, lately? Nimrath is there, lounging in indolent splendor in the spot with the most light, listening in and making judicious comments of his own. For indeed, he is quite an observant young beast, well able to track the details of this and that relationship, like some great web weaving in and out all through the Weyr.

Of course, Nimrath doesn't use this knowledge for anything particularly useful. He just likes being popular, and enjoying the fruits of his latest round of gossip. It's just... it's a fun game, all right? Nimrath can't help if it's all too easy to turn heads with this or that tidbit. Oh, didn't they know that so and so had recently flown that green? Nimrath did. He is charming, in his rather superficial way, and quite likable, if a deplorable gossip. One thing that can be said of him is that he absolutely cannot keep a secret. He's certainly tried, and he knows that some are more important than others, but the temptation to use some bit of hidden knowledge to his advantage would be just too much.

Perhaps it's inevitable, then, that some of Nimrath's friendships have been burnt rather permanently in the process. It's nothing personal, he promises, but... he can't keep quiet. Maybe this foible surfaced because he hatched a twin, and therefore always had someone to gossip with in the shell, someone who would never truly turn against him. Maybe it's something that he's developed over time. Whatever the reason, he has sadly been unable to rebuild bridges that have long since burned.

If he's a bit of a shallow creature, it really cannot be helped. After all, when one is quite so beautiful, one does maintain... certain standards. He wants nothing more than to be doted upon and delighted in, and if he can't have that, well... at least his beauty can be admired. If that means that his relationships have less depth than some others might, so be it. The important things is that eyes are on him and ears (head knobs) are listening to him. He wants so badly to be the center of attention that one might wonder whether he never had any in the egg. Which... well, is patently false.

Positive Traits: Charming, curious, observant
Negative Traits: Indolent, shallow, gossiping

Additional Notes: This bronze would never actually give a lady a second glance, unless it was to find out what she was up to. Would likely only chase a queen if it meant babies for himself and whatever flight of fancy he happened to be enjoying at the moment. Even then, he's not precisely the paternal type, so that's not going to happen anytime soon. Ladies and gentlemen can both look, but Nimrath will be sharing his ledge with whatever the masculine flavor of the day happens to be. He hasn't dreamed of settling down yet, but it's not completely out of the picture. Maybe someday.

Impression Effect: Post-Impression, Wren will be better able to control his emotions. Since Nimrath is a bit slow to feel deep emotions in the first place, not that he's incapable of them, Wren will find a new ability to view situations with a bit more of a level head. At the same time, he's already a beauty to begin with, and Impressing to Nimrath is just going to heighten that. Watch out, world!

Why Me? Why not you, darling? Who else could understand Nimrath's needs and wants? Who else could get this shallow bronze, or be the perfect confidante? And frankly, dearest, Nimrath wants to see all of the beautiful things that Wren's been making. If he happens to feel they'd look better on him, well... he's not wrong. Nimrath adores Wren for his beauty and his perfectionist nature. They're both quite bright, so will be able to come up with all manner of entrancing things to discuss. Oh, he's so looking forward to this! Nimrath doesn't use his hearts quite as much as Wren does, which will give them a balancing point. Maybe it's for the best that they have differences, because if they were the same, they'd likely never get anything done.

Aelyx (VC: Louise Heart)

27
Nameday:
3550.08.12
(Age Up Jul. 27)
Sex:
Female
Sexual Orientation:
Pansexual
Craft:
Glasscraft (Pottery and Goblet Design)
Rank:
Apprentice
Location:
Western Weyr (Formerly Nabol Hold)
Physical Description:
Aelyx is a bit odd in appearance. She stands at 5'8" tall, lithe and flat chested. She seems to always be attired in rich color when she gets a chance, usually deep greens and soft pinks that make her almost seem a little too ostentatious. Her skin is a deep olive, a bit lighter now than usual, with odd eyes. One is a soft, warm chocolate, something almost welcoming, and the other? A chilled amber with an almost golden tint. Her lips are thin, usually pulled in to a frown. Her hair is shaggy, about chin-length, and colored a vibrant green with dyes she affords with a stipend from her mother. Her figure seems more strong-built than most women's, but that is for a whole different reason.

Personality:
No matter if you want to hear it or not, Aelyx will find a way to let someone know just what's on her mind. If you ask her opinion, she will happily offer you just what she thinks is the solution to the problem, and direct you down the right path. Her brain often goes a mile a minute, and there's never a moment that she will lie to anyone. It's not in her ability, and if she tries? She's horrible at it. Completely incapable, and honestly very awkward. It doesn't mattter if it's about the small things, or the large things, she will always find a way to let people know the truth of whatever happened. It's for the best, she swears, even if she can sometimes be a bit aggressive in her delivery.

Despite the fact that she can sometimes deliver her lines with a dripping sarcasm that could outdo even an irritated weyrwoman, Aelyx is a charming young thing. She's able to endear herself to people with a sweet smile, and a head canted to the side, with eyes alight. She's able to create elegant turns of phrase and be as charming as the devil if she needs to be. There's a sense of sensuous pride in everything she does, and it's something she likes to think makes it hard to say no. This can come across poorly as sometimes she gets rather sarcastic and sharp. After all, if her charisma is met poorly, she sees no reason not to just let herself be a bit harsher with the people around her.

She's always pushing herself to be her best, and to get ahead of the game. Aelyx wants nothing more than to push herself to be the best at anything that anyone can throw at her so that she can make sure that no one gets left behind. After all, she herself is the best, isn't she? Her driven nature oft comes across as pure arrogance, because of her sense of perfection that must be met.

Positive Trait List Honest, Charismatic, Driven
Negative Trait List Sarcastic, Arrogant, Blunt

History:
Aelyx was born a boy to a pair of parents in Nabol. She was a holdbrat from the start, raised wild and rather delighted to run free. Her father was a creative storyteller of a Harper, her mother the type to stay at home and watch from afar. She learned the craft of spinning tales, and started to find her own truth early in life. She took to glasscraft after watching someone in the hold working. It took almost no time for her to begin her craft, taking to it with little trouble, enjoying the work of making goblets and pottery with deft, small hands. It wasn't until she was around the age of 9 that she began to realize that perhaps her original pronouns weren't the right thing to say for this child's case.

She met a woman named Loviana, who was a Greenrider that occasionally visited the Hold for...whatever reason. If you asked her now, she can hardly remember why. She just remembers meeting the husky-voiced female that suddenly shifted her perception. The family she'd been raised in had been open. Her father and mother both had people they saw on the side, her mother a courtesan for private clients, her father entertaining privately, and occasionally she'd met people like her...people that had her realizing that perhaps the long hair, and the preference for skirts and colors that were said to be unusual. It was Loviana that helped HER realize who she'd been all along.

It was around turn 12 that Aelyx began presenting as female, calling herself a girl, which was openly accepted by family, though she lost most of her friends. She became the daughter of a successful family, rather than a son, and began to color her hair to reflect her new self. Her hair changed, dark roots with deep green all over, her odd eyes often accentuated with kohl and lips painted to accentuate her newfound feminine self. Aelyx grew in to her own state of being, grew in to being a young woman, and when she turned sixteen, was searched for Western by a bluerider friend of Loviana's.

Other: Aelyx is MtF and registers Female.

Micah
Age:
21
Nameday:
3556.05.25
(Age Up May 17)
Sex:
Female
Sexual Orientation:
Pansexual
Craft:
Minercraft Wher Handler
Rank:
Apprentice
Location:
Western Weyr (From Magyar Hold)
Physical Description:
Micah is a bit taller than one might think for a woman. Standing at 5'11" tall, the girl is built rather solidly. Think of warrior women, broad shouldered, rather square-like figure, with a bit of a smaller waist to give her just a hint of a figure. She has no bust, or hips to speak of, beside the slight stockiness to her tall figure. Her hair is short, kept cropped in a shaggy pixie cut, and a deep black in tone. Her skin is pale, mostly from the fact that she has worked with the miners since she could stand, or so she claims. Her eyes are a deep brown in color, with short lashes, a small nose, and full lips. Many might mistake her for male if they weren't careful, and wanted to be on the wrong end of her fist.

Personality:
If there is one thing for sure, it is that Micah is often the go-to person for people when it comes to tasks to be done. The girl will never let anyone down if they ask her for a favor. She cares too deeply about her reputation. That, and being raised from childhood to learn to care for Whers, she had to be as dependable as possible. She has always looked out for all of her family, all of her life. Being the elder of a set of twins, however, Micah has always been a bit competitive. If you tell her she is not excelling at something, she will strive to pass the people that are better. It is a trait that can be all consuming for a period of time. There is a demand to become the best that comes from a family state back when she lived in Nabol hold.

Micah loves the idea of a world where they're all happy and well taken care of. She's an idealist and prefers thinking that people deserve nothing more than the best, that everything will be sunshine and rainbows if she could just keep pressing on. She wants nothing more than a utopian style world, even if that's not possible. Micah did know her place in Nabol though. She knew how important she was, and how what she did was something that was in need. It gave her a sense of self-importance easily described as arrogance. It's hard for Micah not to look down at someone who's a little bit weaker. She sees people and expects some kind of strength or stoicism that she was instilled with. It is almost natural as breathing to her.

Micah will never be the sort to let anything go undone. If there's work to be done, she's on top of it, and will not rest until it's finished. Anything from chores to paper, she'll do what she has to. After all, idle hands are a girl like her's nightmare, and she can't let it happen if it's easily avoided. Honestly, it's usually easily avoided. If you try to sway her, she'll be as tow-headed as a wher. It's not likely that she's going let anyone change her mind about something that she's been thinking about, or has set her heart on. After all, Micah doesn't like to think that she's ever been wrong before.

Positive Trait List Reliable, Idealistic, Hardworking
Negative Trait List Competitive, Arrogant, Stubborn

History:
Magyar Hold is a minor hold in an outlying part of the Western continent. It's known primarily for a heavy use of Whers, and almost all children within the hold grow up to deal with the creatures in some form or fashion. The family that Micah came from was no different. Born to a traditionalist, military father, and a dragonhealer mother, Micah and her twin sister Jaelyn had their destinies written from the moment they were born. In Magyar, there was no question of what the two would become, or what they would do. Micah was a bit more stocky than her sister, a stoic, quiet girl who watched people from the very beginning, and by the time she was three turns and toddling, her father had figured out that this was the child he would focus his attention on.

Having progeny to pass on the tradition of Wherhandling to was of the utmost importance, and she was pulled to see the mines and the quarries early. Honestly, Micah didn't mind. She enjoyed the craggy mountainside and the warm air, the more rough terrain well suited to her stature. Sure, she preferred staying close to her twin while she was younger, but it didn't take long for her independent streak to kick in. Under her father's tutelage, she began to learn all about the things that one needed to know to handle a wher. She met her father's, staying near them and helping with Ehisk's daily tasks, helping to clean the brown Wherrie's hide, and keep it oiled.

By the time she was 10, she and her sister were distancing a bit. Micah got in to a lot of fights with the boys in the hold. Cuts, broken noses, jaw, bruised bones...the lot of it was rough, but it was a part of life, expected for a girl. It was around this time that she demanded her sister cut her hair short, and she began to bind her chest as much as she could. It helped reduce the trouble she got in to, and at least she always had Jaelyn to help tend her wounds. The thing that no one expected in their small hold was a searchrider. Her father had been gearing her up to bond with a wher around turn 13, excitement building when a clutch came about.

She is still waiting, hopefully.

Name:
Emirhan
Age:
23 Turns
Nameday:
3554.10.10
(Age Up Sept. 19)
Sex:
Male
Sexual Orientation:
Pansexual
Craft:
Felinehandler
Rank:
Ex-Journeyman, now Mercenary
Location: Travelling

Physical Description:
Emirhan is a tall man, standing at 6' even, with long, dark hair and amber eyes. With defined cheeks and a strong jaw that's usually decorated with stubble, it lends an air of elegance. His skin is a deep olive in tone, and his lips are full and usually quirked in a smile. The wavy hair is always pulled back in a low braid to keep it out of his way when he works. His build is closer akin to that of a swimmer or an archer, not too muscular or stocky, but more lithe and graceful. He can usually be found dressed in shades of black or brown, with hints of deep green.

Personality:
It would be a lie if Emirhan said that he didn't think himself Faranth's gift to those around him. He has a smooth tongue, and a quick wit that has thus far allowed him to endear himself to most that he comes across. He seems almost more than able to shift and bend with anything thrown at him, never taking offense or getting angry, just entertaining person after person There is no sense in getting angry or pushing people, when one can entrap more flies with honey than with vinegar. Nonetheless, it can be troublesome when you let yourself find pleasure in EVERYTHING that comes your way. Emirhan likes the idea of everything being for him, of everything carnal in this world. He enjoys drink, food, people, anything his fingers can touch, and his tongue can taste. Why be anything but happy? Why not indulge?

He always seems to be bright and happy, never quite finding himself able to be serious, or sad. He enjoys laughing, and making others laugh as well. After all, in life, things are too short not to enjoy one's self. Why frown, or let the concerns of life get you to frown? Truth is, this happy go lucky nature masks an intent to manipulate and charm people in to what he wants, knowing well that between his looks and his personality, he 's capable. He enjoys being able to offer the right smile, the right glance, to get people to turn the way he needs them to. go. After all, you have to have to be able to do this at some level in order to get good pay for getting your hands dirty, that much Emirhan knows.

His mind is his most prized weapon. He's able to see and understand the different shifts and turns of other humans, to suss out inherent patterns. The sharp mind means that he can often find himself being primarily logic-based, rather than emotionally based. The truth of it is that his moral code is gray at best, and that he's always got a way to work around things. He doesn't care about 'right' or 'wrong', so appealing to his sense of better judgement is about as useless as it can get.

Positive Trait List Charming, Jovial, Sharp
Negative Trait List Indulgent, Manipulative, Amoral

History:
Growing up in Monaco was an interesting life. Emirhan was a child born in the streets of the Hold, running wild with other kids. It was where, if you asked him now, the boy would say that his degenerate hobbies started. He was one of the kids you didn't want to be close around. His hands were fast, and he was good at picking a pocket for a mark, or playing cards with whoever happened to cross his path. Originally, he wasn't supposed to do anything else, running happily with the other little street kids. May turns he devoted to the care and attention of his fellow orphans, taking care of them as best he could.

What he didn't expect was to find interest in a felinehandler. It was when he picked the pockets of a woman on the street that he was caught, her feline taking particular offense. Instead of being taken in to custody, though....he was chosen for something far different. The woman took Emirhan in, gave him a name and started to teach him about felines, in preparation for the day that her own cat, an Island Forest Cat that she called Sita, gave birth. Honestly, it fascinated him. It was a new challenge, one that the boy rose to with gusto. He trained, and when Sita gave birth to her kittens, one of the females ended up in his hands.

At first, there was no guarantee that he would bond with the creature, though he spent every day by her side. It was not until Asya was old enough to open her little green eyes that the two formed a bond that would last a lifetime. Emirhan can still remember that day, and will never forget it as long as he lives. Asya is everything to him, and he and the feline were inseperable from that moment on. They spent their first two turns in the tutelage of the woman that had taken him in, learning what they needed to know, getting to know one another, but eventually, Emirhan felt trapped, bored, and in the dead of the night, stole away with his partner.

The two of them boarded a ship to the Northern continent. There were better business choices there, he heard, better opportunities. It wasn't long at all before he fell in with caravans on and off. He and the cat found their pleasure in selling services and claws for whatever anyone needed them for, and they have, in the four turns in Northern, made a name for themselves. If you need something done, you can contact Emirhan and Asya.

Other:

FELINE
Name: Asya
Age: 10 Turns
Birthing Day:
3567.03.10
(Age Up Mar. 07)
Species: Island Forest Cat
Size: 6.5' Nose to Tail, 140lbs
Physical Description:
Lithe and dark, many have mistaken Asya for a male before. She is on the larger side for a female of her breed, muscular and yet still sinuous. Her tail is a bit shorter than it should be, having been taken off in one of the many fights she and Her own have been in. Her pelt is pitch black, with an idle hint of spotting across the fur, and her eyes glow a pure green tone that is striking from her dark face. Scarring mars across her nose and shoulder, also attained from what she and Her own do, but she seems proud of it.
Personality:
From the beginning, when first she bonded to her Handler, Asya was almost set apart by the regal air about her. Everything she does is above reproach, and it matters little to her if anyone else thinks so. She's far removed from the scruples of others, only caring what Her Own thinks of her. Every move is calculated, every pawstep watched, and every word to Her Own made in a way that does not mince a single word. One might mistake Asya for a leader of her species, while she's hardly even that. Never once does she crack even a hint of a lighter air, always serious, always devoted to whatever she is doing at the time. Always does she hold herself apart.

From birth, Asya has been independent. She's not the sort to stand in another's shadow, and in fact? She almost hates the bond between she and Her Own every so often. He seems to think that he can control her atimes, and Asya will have none of it. She is her own mind, and makes it obvious to any who come across her. In this, Asya comes across as aggressive. While she is a bonded beast, she is still a wild cat and will not tolerate anyone who thinks her some tamed pet. There has been more than one instance in which her fangs and claws have found a hand that dared come near her in a saccharine friendship. No, she has Her Own, and that is all that matters. Her need for a good fight is met often in the profession that she and Emirhan have gone in to together.

To balance out Emirhan's indulgent side, Asya is the more responsible of the pair, making sure things are done in the most careful and immediate manner. Nothing escapes her, every inch of Her Own's schedule known to her so that she can help him keep it. Just because he likes drinking his night away does not mean that she is so indulgent! You can rely on the feline for anything to be done that is asked of her by the man she has bonded herself to. After all, better to be reliable than not. However, this means that she is more stern, demanding that any rules that she imposes are followed.

Positive Trait List Dignified, Independent, Responsible
Negative Trait List Aloof, Aggressive, Strict

Name:
Tsura (Voice: Wanda Maximoff, FC: )
Age:
26 Turns
Nameday:
3550.12.03
(Age Up Nov. 07)
Sex:
Female
Sexual Orientation:
Bisexual
Weyr: Other
Rider Rank: Entertainer (Circus Performer: Acrobat)
Previous Rank/Craft: Courtesan - Dancer
Physical Description:
Lovely Tsura is on the smaller side, standing only at about 5'2" in height. At the least, she has a slender and small form to compliment, with long limbs, and torso both. She looks almost elfin, with deeply tanned skin, and soft brown eyes set in a round face. High cheekbones and a rather strong nose stand out, and her almond eyes are framed by long and dark lashes. Her hair, chocolate brown with a touch of copper and gold, falls around her face, framing it nicely in long waves. The curls are always a bit tighter in nature, and she swears they're not to be combed lest her hair turn in to a puffy mess. She seems to always dress in shades of black or red, accenting her look with silver baubles and bangles she buys from passing caravans, enjoying the finery that she and her brother can sometimes afford.

Personality:
Ah, but from the time she could walk, Tsura cared about others. Being on her own meant that she had to learn quickly that other people needed a gentle hand and loving heart. She would put her life on the line for the people she considers her family, and her heart is absolutely devoted to the thought that perhaps one day, she'll be able to do more than to care for the children of the Cirque that she travels with. Behind the facade she presents of the loving mother, though, is a girl who is terribly afraid of being outcast. Everything she does is usually to please someone or another, she too insecure in her own self to truly let who she is shine through. After all, if she makes waves, she might rock too much and get thrown over. There is nothing that terrifies her more than that thought.

If nothing else, she seems to almost never get angry Hand and manner are gentle as anything, and she's the one you can go to and count on a sweet, small smile and a hug. Even when she's being bluntly honest with someone, she's sweet and calm. She is a bit obsessive though. If she finds herself fond of someone, she turns her head and wraps on tightly. It's all she can do not to learn everything about them, to make sure that they are aware of how she feels. Her brother is the primary target for this obsession at the moment.

Tsura is incredibly bright, her head one for books as well as the activities around her. She's been good at picking things up, at learning new tasks and hobbies within a short time, and was early to develop when it came to reading and writing. The girl's constantly analyzing people, which can be a bit unnerving at times. When it comes to the people she cares about, the obsession is marked with a habit to trail their coattails. With her brother, she prefers being physical, holding hands, hugging, being close. With her family in the Circus, she's quiet, but often just hangs around them. The thought of losing anyone upsets her terribly, so...Well.

Positive Trait List Motherly, Gentle, Intelligent
Negative Trait List Insecure, Obsessive, Clingy

History:
She and her twin brother were born together within minutes of each other. Tsura is only ever so slightly younger, but it was enough for her, as they grew up in Monaco Bay, to depend on the other almost completely. What was perhaps the kicker for her dependency was the fact that their parents died when they were only 3 turns old, barely old enough to comprehend. The two were orphaned, and being on the street was not easy. However, the two would find themselves extremely fortunate. They were approached by a woman who offered them a home, a place, so long as they were willing to work and learn. This was how Tsura and her twin joined the Circus.

They were raised by the matron, the two of them devoted to the wonderful life. For Tsura, she mostly just helped at first, cleaning up, making sure things were handled, until she saw an acrobat practicing. The woman had once been a Courtesan, and her grace and beauty entranced her. It was then that the young woman began training with the woman, learning the art of a courtesan as her apprentice. It was something she felll in love with, and took to easily. Dancing became a way for her to escape, to get away. What she didn't expect was for a Gold to clutch in their little slice of home...And for she and her twin to Stand.

It was so strange, touching those shells, feeling the incredible honor that came from being allowed to find the pleasure of the shell beneath her fingers. What she didn't expect was the clutch to yield one set of twin dragons, hatched from the same shell. Less did she expect the Green of the pair to Impress to HER. The feeling of Impression knocked her breathless, but she and her dearest became inseparable. While she may not be trained like traditional riders, she does know how to fly, and how to do tricks with her Dragon. She knew well that her brother had taken up with someone in their crew, and so a part of her in vindictive glee took up with aerial acrobatics. She's not a daredevil by any means, but when she and Kalith get in the sky, they certainly are the most graceful.

Other:

DRAGON
Name: Kalith (VC: Eva Green)
Age: 6 Turns
Hatchday:
3571.06.21
??? x ???
Weyrless Circus Clutch
Color: Green
Size: 38'
Physical Description:
Look at her, Hers, isn't she the most lovely green you've ever seen on wing? She's a beautiful Green, of deep emerald hide, with multi-hued green stripes running along side of her body to create quite the picture when she's in the air. On the smaller side for a Green, Kalith is the sort that is built for agility, well muscled, but lithe, able to make aerial turns and twists with little struggle, and a long tail that is a bit longer than it should be that trails behind her in a fashion most elegant, or so she says.
Personality:
There is no question that this Green thinks herself a Queen. From the moment she was hatched, Kalith strutted across her hatching sands as though she owned the place, and has never looked back. She has a head of her own, completely content to argue with whomever she so pleases if she feels it might serve she or Hers better in the long run. After all, who knows better but her? Her confidence breeds a certain type of egotism, her knowledge of her look and her Rider's own never going unchecked. If Hers looks even a little out of sort, Kalith will correct her, and ensure that they are presentable at all times. She has no interest in being viewed as any kind of inferior, and insists Hers does the same. They deserve only the best, after all, whether Tsura believes it or not.

There is a level of devotion between herself and her partner that goes as deep as the bond that Hers shares with her twin. The Green is always attentive, paying attention to every dip in Tsura's mood, every shift and change, and any physical changes as well. Her attention to detail extends to the rest of the troupe if she can, as well, content to stick her large nose in to anyone's business that so happens to be nearby. After all, what better way to ensure those that Hers calls family are safe, than to let them know that she is there to help always!

Lila (VC: Furiosa)

(Age Up June 10)
Sex:
Female
Sexual Orientation:
Pansexual
Craft:
(Ex)Courtesan
Rank:
(Ex) Dancer Journeyman // Currently a Drudge
Location:
Nabol Hold
Physical Description:
Lila is almost picturesque, at least when she's not dirty. Standing at 5'5" tall, the girl is lithe and thin, almost too much. Her skin is moon pale despite the fact that she lives outdoors, and her long hair is a fading pink-ish tone that is remnant of when she once had the money to make it purple. Hazel eyes are framed by long lashes, and her full lips are usually chapped and cracked ever so slightly. Clothing that was once pretty is now too big, and often slightly tattered or dirty, and she wears shoes that have holes in the toe. Her figure is an hourglass, ample, though small at the moment due to malnutrition.

Personality:
To be fair, before Lila was hooked on Felis, she was a terribly intelligent person. Her mind is still sharp behind the haze of the drug, and if you get her during a rare, lucid moment, you see it. She knows a lot about people, about things. She is able to read people without much challenge, and finds herself fascinated by learning. Lila can be a bookworm, given the chance, and her intelligence shows itself most when it comes to asking her about Nabol. She knows the hold and its people VERY well. After all, she was a courtesan. They know things. They hear things. She knows when and how to use it...or did...once.

Lila has a personality geared towards addiction. Her behavior was always impulsive and reckless, a bit headstrong and fast-paced, so when a dealer came and offered her a taste of something ,she was all too quick to slide in to a wherry's hole that there was no coming out of. Before Felis, it was company, before she could bed people, it was small acts of thievery. Something in her is always wanting to find the next step. One of the good things is that she is always able to adapt to whatever is thrown at her, at least. The girl is able to take what is thrown at her, and turn to roll with the punches that might come her way. She finds an ease with being able to move in the tide, as the feeling seems to bring an air of relaxed confidence.

She smiles brightly, laughs loudly, and can be seen from a mile away. She's got an air about her that seems to suggest that you could follow her in to hell, and she'd be leading you through. It's natural, though harder to see now than perhaps it once was. It comes from a sense of pride in herself that most would describe as ego. She thinks herself the queen of the hold, or at least thinks that she could be, if she was given half a chance.

History:
Being born in the lower echelons of Nabol isn't easy, as many people know. She was born to a single mother, whose father had died in his craft as a Wher handler. They weren't too well off, spending most of their time scraping by as best they could. It was when she turned about 11 that Lila met a courtesan for the first time, and the craft seemed like something she could manage. Indeed, from the moment she was taken in by a resident Courtesan to learn her trade, she took to it like a fish takes to water. Dancing seemed to be her greatest skill, and within a short time, she was making friends, and learning quickly.

Lila's life looked up from there. A courtesan who was well met by her clients, taking them as she pleased. She made enough to join a higher class of people in Nabol, and the best part was that the spare money could be used how she wanted. A purple haired courtesan with the wit and manner of a lady, so she became, and for a few turns, all was well. However, when her nearest and dearest friend was Searched and taken away from her...she fell in with a crowd that was perhaps less than reputable. One of her clients at the time was a Felis dealer, a man who she found charming and interesting, heart skipping whenever she was around him. One try of what he sold, and she was hooked.

It was a quick decline from there, her mind slipping in to a blissful oblivion that Felis brought her. All the money that came from her work was quickly put towards getting more and more until she was released from her work. Now a drudge in the hold, she scrapes together whatever she can in order to continue her fix.

Saved by R'tansky and Atalith, she now travels with them. Mostly clean, she's beginning to recover from the ordeals of Felis addiction and is looking towards dragons with a longing heart.
