It'd been a little while since she'd been back here. One moment she was on campus, taking a stroll and enjoying herself. The next, a fog rolled in--not unusual, but that it transported her, that was the very much unusual part. Except this had happened before. Agsilved scowled around at the creaking and twisted house. More so at the strange figures that moved through the mist, solidifying, vanishing, reforming. The same or new, she'd never know. Creatures she'd no intention of nearing.

Her skirt whispered across her skin as she walked, nails clicking dully against the ground as she looked about. This wasn't a place anyone was welcomed. Something whispered home, but she pushed further on, pushed further away from it, searching for her back. This was no home of hers. This place held nothing but terror and unease and hostilities. Enemies.

Onward she went, brow furrowing as she realized going back wasn't quite working as she'd hoped. Voices whispered, figures moved out of the corner of her eye. Each time she turned to try and locate a source--futile, she knew--nothing would be present in the fog. "This is ridiculous," she hissed, batting away some of the fog near her. Watching as it dissipated and reformed elsewhere. Or maybe it never faded away at all. "If this is going to be a growing habit, I should at least look for actual information about this place..."

Rolling a 4: NO HEALING IS ALLOWED IN BATTLE. Someone is whispering to you about something, but you can't place out what, it is hard to focus. Everything distracts you, even the tiniest flash of light or flicker of movement.

Aiden had been planning on checking out the Haunted House for a while now, having heard whispers here and there about it but never actually stopped to ask anyone what it was all about. So now that he was finished with repairing parts of the island for the day, he finally decided to get down to actually doing just that. The Sun Hunter took the portal to the house and summoned Souji's full form to his hand just in case as he walked along the halls, eyes going everywhere in fascination.

It was a little unnerving, the flashes of other things that showed up and disappeared just as fast as he walked but nothing had attacked him yet and he had his partner in hand anyway if they did.

He started to turn the corner, though he was looking away from where he would be going which was a stupid mistake on his part, and ended up bumping into someone, literally.

Unfortunately for her, the shifting shadows were playing a few too many tricks on her. Her nerves were strained, muscles tense, waiting for a fight. Expecting one. Ready and waiting for one. Perhaps it was more of a self-fulfilling prophecy, in that sense. To expect something and almost wanting it to the point that... it was inevitable.

Moving through the twisting halls, chambers, closets, and whatever else was here, the world creaking and moaning around her, whispers echoed in her ears. A shape appeared too close when she existed a small room into another hall, one that made her jerk back, unused to them forming out of the fog so... close. So solid looking.

Panic set in before logic could take over, and Agsilved lashed out with her ink claws, though the strike missed as she was backpedaling at the same time. Her pulse pounded, roaring in her ears as the whispers continued to tease and taunt. There was something there. A someone. Her slit eyes focused on the figure, hissing as her wings flexed, moving still further back from the human. Another Hunter. Just her blasted luck.

Aiden gave a yelp when he saw the claws coming at him and jerked back to avoid being hit while singing his spetum out of reflex to being attacked in return. They had come way to close to his face for comfort and his eyes were wide as he took in the panicked looking Dragon Woman in front of him. Where had she even come from?! Though he supposed that it would have been hard to notice her with all of the distracting movements and sounds around him since it was hard to focus on her right now even though he knew he should.

"Well when they said this was a Haunted House, I didn't know they meant here be dragons."

The blade caught her arm as she retreated, though it was little more than a small nick. Still, her tail lashed, angered by the Hunter's appearance. Why were humans so startled to see a dragon? The previous Hunter she'd encountered has also been as such, though he'd been far, far ruder.

"Go home, human, and you'd not need to worry about dragons," she hissed, turning to this time slash at him with her tail. Though it held no blades or spikes, it was suitable as a whip, and gave her a bit more in the way of distance. Though she moved her body and head to keep him still visible--he had a blade, after all.

Aiden let out a small yelp when her tail whipped him on the leg then swung his spetum, aiming to force her off balance if possible. "Oh no, there may be dragons but I'm certainly not ready to return home just yet. So much to see, so much to do, you know?" He responded almost casually though his eyes were narrowed with a glint of challenge in them even if he had so far done much less damage to her then she had to him.

After all this was a good chance to test out what he had learned as well as possible learn more. ~Let's just hope you don't end up regretting this.~ He heard Souji grumble in his head.

His strike did knock her off balance, catching her at the ribs and knocking some of the air from her lungs. She fanned out her wings quickly, trying to shove him away and batter him, before pulling them back and facing him with a hiss.

"Learning is admirable. But so is acknowledging where you do not belong." She watched him intently, and more importantly, watched his weapon. Hunters were skilled, she could give them that much, but still to face one had her head spinning. Could they cross through here, to Amity? If she and others could come from Amity here, could the Hunters press onward?

On the other end, could they strike the Hunters through this means? Surely if such were possible either way, someone on either side would have discovered so and utilized it. Yet it was a charming thought as she eyed the human that dared to walk where none should tread.

He had given a small smirk when he had managed to throw her off balance and didn't let it falter when she quickly righted herself. At this point he was partly leaning towards trying to rile her up to see if she would be more likely to miss out of anger but he didn't know exactly how the dragon would react so he held off on that plan just yet. Mostly. "Ah but I take great pride in going where I'm not supposed to be, how else am I meant to going to get all the juicy tidbits?"

Using the Haunted House to go into Amity had never once crossed his mind since before he had even heard of the place, he had learned that he would literally explode if he tried to stay in Amity for longer then five minutes when not piloting a golem. But he frankly didn't know if the Halloween creatures could get through to them and this thought hadn't come to mind yet either. Instead he was eyeing his opponent for weaknesses and striking out with his spetum again. The smirk grew when Souji gave him the all clear if he wanted to try and use the weapon's Fear attack as he was charged and ready.

Combat wasn't necessarily her strongest point, especially when she wasn't used to dealing with an opponent that could use a longer ranged weapon than limbs. Clearly, she'd need to get some training on this. Though she did possess a FEAR she could use, she knew it's accuracy was... dicy. It might give her a little range, and perhaps an edge, if she could pull it off though.

Still, she jumped in close, trying to move where the blade couldn't catch her near him, slashing with her ink covered claws. This was more her style. Hacking and slashing at close range. But it wouldn't work well if he knew enough for how to still use the damn weapon to push her back. Or fight hand-to-hand.

Aiden gave a hiss when she managed to slash out at him after avoiding his weapon, glad his Fear Shield was still going pretty strong because those claws looked like they could do a lot of damage to his body other wise. Since she was so close to him though he took the time to kick out with one of his long legs to force her back to a more comfortable distance.

The kick hit her thigh, and she buckled a bit, falling down to a knee, but Agsilved hissed, slashing at his abdomen instead, before trying to push herself up onto her feet to avoid a worse position. Her pulse continued to pound and her mind whirled. She was way too close to the human for comfort, but what else could she do? Run?

Aiden jerked back when she slashed out at him, still getting hit but it wasn't as back as it could be, though the movement threw his balance off a bit. They were both whittling away at each other so he couldn't say who was winning here but he did know one thing, he wasn't giving up yet. He regained his balance and swiped at her with Souji.

The bruises were forming, more dark spots amongst her scales and stains. She slashed harder, trying to go for his face or chest. Trying to make some sort of headway against him. But they were going only bit by bit, strike by strike. One would gain a slight edge, then the other would retaliate. It was a reasonably even match--was she happy about this? Hard to say. It was better than the alternative, at least.

He felt a bit of worry as his shield kept getting damage with every hit it took but they were pretty evenly matched, enough that he wasn't sure who was going to come out on top in the end. Every time she attack near his face he would jerk back instinctively and then slash out around her belly with his weapon.
