The frets of a young brood had weighed on the lioness for the short time that she had been a mother. An unexpected event as much as she had been mentally preparing for it. The lion that had caused her such woes was often no where to be found and it was likely for the best. Sadie considered what she'd do to him if she ever had the chance, but then deep in her gut she knew none of those things she thought about would ever happen. He was something strange to her.
Sadie was away from the youth that had her so tired and although her mind wanted to dwell on the male she opted out of such a pitiful way to spend a day. Instead she decided to get better acquainted with the primary shared space. The main area where drinks were plenty (or so it seemed) and laughs/brawls were forever endless. Perhaps her most favored place in the whole of their lands. She could appreciate the good times that were had there and didn't dare to judge those that were to drunk to nearly utter a full sentence. She hadn't been there yet herself, but with the cubs the way they were she'd like be driven to that state of drunk.
With a day as pleasant as this she wasn't surprised by the crowd. Their pride was fearsomely large and in such a space it was very clear. She took a moment to admire the number of familiar and unfamiliar faces before heading into the milling lions.
