Astronomy : D
- With everything important she was studying for, Kimberly didn’t really care about her grade in Astronomy. It wasn’t something she needed to know for the future and she found herself much rather wanting to study for other things. Due to not finding the material interesting and taking the time to really study the material she found herself with a Dreadful grade. Granted she’d seriously thought it would have been much worse.
Charms : E
- Charms was her second best core class. Had she not been spending more time studying other course material Kimberly would have managed top marks. Instead she had to settle with Exceeding Expectations, thanks to good practical work and a decent written exam.
Defence Against the Dark Arts : O
- Kimberly excelled in defense and was also a member of the dueling club. She enjoyed learning how to protect herself and put in a solid effort to learn the spells. She also found dealing with the Boggart not all that bad as she remained composed through it. No surprise to her that she got top grade.
Herbology : A
- Herbology wasn’t Kimberly’s best class but it wasn’t her worst. Where is wasn’t much for working with plants she made up for it by remembering facts about them. However she spent more time improving other areas that she settled for an Acceptable grade.
History of Magic : T
- When it came to History, Kimberly either found herself falling asleep in class or not going to class at all. She had no desire to remember anything from class and found it extremely boring. Her lack of interest coupled with studying more important things gave her the lowest grade one could receive.
Potions : A
- Potions was Kimberly’s bane of existence. However, she needed it to become a healer and thus put in a tone load of extra time into it. She even went so far as to seek one on one time with Professor Whitethorne in attempts to raise her grade. Trying her hardest to get an EE on her exam, she spent long hours only to fall short with an Acceptable grade. She was deeply disappointed in herself for that grade. Her only shot at continuing was hoping Professor Whitethorne would give her a chance.
Transfiguration : E
- Transfiguration was another class that Kimberly struggled with and put a lot of extra time into. If it wasn’t for Rory’s help she probably would been in the same boat as potions. Luckily her effort had rewarded her with a passable but low end Exceeding Exceptions.
Electives
Care of Magical Creatures : A
- Truthfully Kimberly only took the class because everyone else was. Though she did find the magical creatures interesting enough, it wasn’t enough for her to really apply herself. She did however put enough of an effort into passing with a low but Acceptable grade. There was no reason for her to fail something she at least found semi interesting.
Cursebreaking : E
- Kimberly quite enjoyed cursebreaking. Figuring it would be important to know about curses for the field of healing. Despite it not being required down the road, she put in a lot of work. That work effort earned her an EE grade.
Healing : O
- It’s in secret that Kimberly wants to be a healer. As such she puts a lot of time and energy into the class. Her efforts as consuming as they are managed to get her top grades throughout. The Slytherin wasn’t going to accept anything less then a perfect Outstanding grade.
Music : O
- Kimberly always enjoyed music. She wasn’t going to let her grade slip even if she was focusing on other classes. Despite her struggle with the history portion she found the history and facts of music to be more interesting then say normal wizarding history. With the work, she did for the practical and the written portions of the exam she managed to get a low Outstanding grade.
Wandless Magic : A
- With everything going on in the year, Kimberly’s emotions were all over the place. As a result, any hope she had at getting a fantastic grade in Wandless was crushed. The balanced needed to make most spells work an utter mess and her written while decent didn’t make up for it. Thus Kimberly was only able to obtain an A. She plans on continuing the class and hopefully improving come time for the NEWT level testing.
