[FNT: 2/16/18] The Debuting Cassius Valens vs. Matt Gennison

"Bullet Club.. 4-4-4-4-4..."
As a shot would echo through the PA system with the lights going on, and then flickering as the theme song would play out through guitar and drums.. it would be Matt Gennison debuting a new theme song, with the Bullet Club's intro, since he had joined them back in Alpha Japan Pro Wrestling..

The Bullet Club's theme song would come up as it would then blast through the PA system, with the sound of guitar riffs and drums banging, as the bass and treble would be off the chain, and all throughout the building, being heard near the backstage area.The theme continued on, Matt Gennison would appear through the curtain. The crowd would go electric over the sight of Matt Gennison, formally known as Matt Allens in another company where he was treated badly.

Matt Gennison would walk out with the CWF Championship around his waist, as he would have on a Bullet Club T-Shirt, and his signature entrance jacket, that was open, while the championship was around his waist over the T-shirt. He would stretch behind himself, unstrapping the championship, and hold it up in the air, towards the audience. He would then throw the championship over his shoulder, and proceed to walk down the ramp, as the theme song would intensify.

JoJo: "The following contest is schedule for one fall.. introducing first, representing the Bullet Club, from Chicago Illinois, he is the CWF Champion.. MATT.... GENNNNNISON!!"

Matt Gennison would continue to walk down to the ring, at a decent pace, however, it would be steady and well coordinated. He would make a left turn towards the steel steps that were mounted against the ring, walking up the steps one foot at a time, as he would then get up on the apron. Matt would turn his back on the ring to face the crowd, as he would then spread out his arms and letting out a yell. He would then watch the reaction of the crowd, before turning his back towards them to face the ring, as he would get into the ring through the second rope, walking over to the center of the ring, as he would then walk over to a nearby ring post, climbing the second turnbuckle and raising his arms high and proud. as he watched audience members snap pictures of him. He nodded his head twice, before jumping down, and and circling around before standing in place.

In the gorilla position was the young man known as Cassius Valens. 'The Venomous Snake' he had been dubbed during his time as an amateur fighter, know for his quick, blinding jabs that would wear his opponents down, his right hand with immense stopping power. Valens had been a wrestling fan since childhood, admiring the art for what it is. Tonight he wanted to prove himself that he could achieve whichever goal he set upon. He had achieved national championships and golden gloves. He felt that he needed to make a name for himself in pro wrestling before going pro as a fighter, as Valens was a man dedicated to achieving his personal goals. He was preparing himself, sporting a dark robe akin to the classic boxing robes champions of the past would wear on their way to the ring. Cassius wore a white and black gladiator skirt, representing his warrior's heart. Venomous Snake had put on purple wrist wraps and matching purple boots. "It's time.", an official signalled Valens, telling him that it's his turn. Valens would nod, heading out to make his entrance.

FIRST THING THEY TEACH US NOT TO GIVE A ******** Root's 'How I Got Over' would begin to play on the speaker. Upon hearing his theme music, Valens enthusiastically walked out, pumped to have his first match against the current CWF champion, Matt Gennison. Valens would walk down the ramp, warming himself up, hopping about and relaxing himself. The crowd was curious as to what type of wrestler Valens was. The robe's hood would cover most of his face, so the audience in the front row and the viewers at home were curious as to what his face looked like. Valens would continue to make his way to the ring, once he reached the steel steps, Valens would swiftly go up. Once there, he'd get on the turnbuckle, and decide to make a pose. Valens put his forearms in an 'X' shape, a tribute to the retired, legendary fighter Bernard 'The Executioner' Hopkins. He held it for a few seconds and jumped off the turnbuckle, waiting in his corner to be announced.


[From the mountains of Big Bear, California... weighing 215 pounds, tonight he is making his debut here in CWF... he is READYYYY TOOO RUUUUUMBLEEE.. the one and only, the fighting Venomous Snaaakee... CASSIUS... CLAY.... VAAAALEEEEENSSSS!!!]


Following his introduction, Cassius would raise a fist, and after a few seconds, took off his hood. Cassius would take off his robe and threw it at the crowd, which was to their liking. Since he was facing a man that they boo'd, the crowd decided to cheer for the young man, which made Valens smile and say his thanks to the crowd. Once the cheering died down, he'd stay in his corner, in position to begin the match.

Matt would've watched the new-comer make his way to the ring, as he stood there with his championship over his shoulder. He didn't take his eyes off his opponent at all, and watched every bit of motion, trying to analyze what he would be up against. Momentarily after, he would give his championship to the referee, who would then hand it to the ring announcer, and towards the timekeeper's area, as this would be a non-title's main event matchup. Matt would take off his jacket, placing it over the ring post on the outside, followed by taking off his T-shirt, balling it up and tossing it to the crowd, as a few jumped up trying to catch it.. He would then wait for the bell to sound.

Ding ding!

The bell would sound, signaling the beginning of the non-title match. Cassius was excited, as this was his first test in the world of pro wrestling, and since it was the ultimate champion in all the pro wrestling world, he knew this wouldn't be an easy night. Valens would take Gennison's experience into consideration, as Matt had been doing this for years. Cassius came out of his corner, and began to circle the ring, finally displaying his fancy footwork which was fluid and well-coordinated. Since he was fairly distanced from Matthew, Venomous Snake decided to not raise his hands yet.

As the bell sounded, the two would square off. Even though the two were distanced, and this person seemed to have some kind of background most wouldn't know about, Matt wouldn't let his footwork phase him or "get into his head", as he would try to close in with a collar and elbow tie up!

Valens knew Matt wasn't much of a striker, so he knew a fist fight was something he could not incite Matt into. Cassius decided to play Matt's game, tying up with the champion.

Tying up with Valens, Matt would then try to display some of his own strength, or rather a test of strength, as he would try to move Valens into the nearest turnbuckle!

Valens' own inexperience caused him to be surprised, as wasn't expecting Matt to try to power him into a corner. Cassius was powered into the corner.

Matt would then push up against Valens' face with his forearms, as the referee would count to four.. not trying to get disqualified, Matt would break away before the 5 count, as he would then deliver a disrespectful slap to the face, with the crowd simply "ooo"ing at Matt's actions.

The slap connected, the crowd felt that things were getting tense as Matt started to disrespect Cassius. "You hit like a woman!" Cassius yelled at Matt, trying to play psychologically with Matt too.

After hearing the remark while Valens' was still in the corner, Matt would then deliver a knee to the midsection, letting the words get to him!

Again, Valens was surprised, not expecting the attack. "Oof" Cassius would bend over from the swift knee.

As Cassius bent over after the knee, Matt would grab him by his head with both hands out of the corner and towards the center of the ring, as he would then hook Cassius's arm around, and attempt to bring him up and over for a suplex!

Cassius was about to pick up his bearings when he suddenly felt himself lifted up and slammed into the mat with a vicious suplex!
