Who is Geyser? Click "spoiler" if you have not had very much interaction with Geyser and would like to know more.
Geyser has been a member of the B/C since 2008-ish. She has been active in several shops, but is no longer active in most of them. The reason for this is obvious once you get to know her.
Most people would describe Geyser as cold, arrogant, and short-tempered. Geyser would describe herself as shy, pessimistic, and burnt-out.
It is okay to avoid Geyser. This is a normal reaction to Geyser's presence, and should not be interpreted as a moral failing on any person's part. Avoiding Geyser is usually a sign of a functioning amygdala. You will not be judged if you avoid her.
If Geyser avoids you, the most likely explanation is that she thinks you do not want to interact with her (because you are a normal person and you don't deserve that).
Geyser is trying (again) to get into Soquili. Her main focus is on the Megapi family line, and tends to play characters with a crusty exterior and soft, vulnerable interior. She likes aquatic creatures, bright colors, and black coats with contrasting markings. No, she doesn't know why she felt it necessary to include that information.
Make of any of this what you will.
(P.S. compliments sometimes make Geyser uncomfortable. They conflict with her worldview--a worldview that is probably very obvious from the way this post has been written.)
"What kind of familiar would you be interested in?"
"I guess...I mean, I've always admired wolves. You could...probably guess that...but I'm not sure, I'm not sure--what if I become feral again? So I don't know if surrounding myself with a pack would be a good idea."
(Wolf, dog, corgi)
"I think a cat. I like cats. I know my father doesn't like them, but I think they're just so lithe and graceful. Besides, their fur is very soft."
(Mountain lion, bobcat)
"A lynx. They're my spirit animal."
"I don't think any animal but a goat could possibly keep me in line, so I'm definitely going with a goat."
"I think I'd like a bird of some kind. I do a lot of flying as the campmaster, and it would be nice to have an extra pair of eyes looking for a new site."
(crow, condor, hawk)
"Haven't thought about it, really. A bunny, I guess? They're cute, and soft."
"Any animal that needs a place to stay can always crash with me. So long as they're not a Soquili or an Usdia, anyway."
(Alligator, dolphin, heron, jellyfish, lobster, octopus, raccoon, gull, river otter, sea otter, sea turtle, seal, koi, peligornis--anything that could be found in the ocean or in an estuary)
"Oh, I think I'd like a raccoon, please! Nimble fingers, very clever--it would be very helpful for my painting."
(Toolbelt/rug roll/hat)
"A bird or a bunny or a squirrel or something. Something small and cute and devious--like me!"
(Or a hummingbird. Or a beemouse. She wants something cute.)
"Gosh...a mouse, I think? Or a rat. Mice and rats are good luck, they're cute, and they're easy to carry on long journeys. That kind of thing is important to me."
Jumaane: Uh...I can't keep up with a flier, so not a flier?
Samantha: Dog, definitely! Dogs are the best. You can curl up with them on cold nights, bam.
Martyn: Mm, a crow. Wouldn't turn away a vulture, though.
Erasmus: [Chuckles] Oh, I would like someone who could keep up with me in the water. A snake, I think--one that can swim well.

"What do you look for in an ideal mate?"
"Someone...kind. And forgiving. And sweet. And innocent. And everything I used to be and am not anymore."
"Eh, I don't think I'm anyone's ideal mate. But if I did have an ideal mate out there, they wouldn't be a kalona supremicist or fetishist. Sorry, don't need that in my life."
"Already found someone, thanks. She's perfect."
"Oh...kind, loving, righteous, but someone who doesn't put up with my crap. That's what I'm looking for. (Mind you, cute wouldn't hurt...)"
"Intelligent, elegant, determined...but I think I might have found her."
"Someone cute. Someone who makes me smile. Someone I can't be without. Not sure that person exists, but."
"No."
"I don't know--no one's really been interested in me before. I guess I'd like someone that was kind. Yes, my mate would definitely have to be a good person. Very open-minded. Willing to travel with the circus."
"I like 'em big and stupid. But I've got all the ones I need, thanks."
"I, uh...haven't thought about that kind of thing in a very long time. I don't know, I think it's best if I stay away from that game for the time being."

Soquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): granddaughter Breed (first choice): Kalona-cross (any) Breed (2nd choice, must be mini, common, or uncommon): cerynei What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? Short IC Response: So many lost things--so many lost memories. Megapi looked up at the sky. He had had a life before this--he had had a mate. Had he had children? He couldn't remember anymore. He was getting new memories back every day, but it seemed like there was a dark haze over his life with his first mate. It was only this evening that he remembered her name. Aurora. It had been--years--since he'd spoken her name, heard her laugh, seen her smile. His heart ached for her still, a forgotten wound that had long since healed now burst open to bleed once again.
Megapi looked up at the sky. There was a bright star in the sky, shining like a crystal in the dark. He recognized the star from legend. It was the wishing star. He stood, paralyzed, at the sight for several minutes before snapping into action. There was no time to waste--the wishing star would not remain in the sky forever. He stopped only to gather flowers in the woods--primroses, trilliums, violets. As he reached the top of the hill, he paused once again to weave them into a flower crown with his wolf form's more agile paws. Was that right for a wishing star offering? He didn't know. But he knew it was right for Aurora. He laid the crown at the crest of the hill and looked up at the star.
"Wishing star," he murmured, "I don't know if you can hear me--and I don't know if you are listening. But if you are, please--if Aurora has any descendants, please send them my way. I'd like to meet them. I'd like...some proof, that my memories are real. That I was different once, and that I wasn't...born a monster. And I think, if they're descended from me, they'd like to know that I'm alive? If Metawa wanted to get to know me, I think they would want to know me as well." He shook away a tear. "And if you can't, then...send Aurora a message. Tell her...tell her that I still love her. And that I'm trying to be happy. She'd want that. And that I've made a friend." He looked at the ground and smiled. "Her name is Lilium. And I think she and Aurora would have gotten along very well."
He stayed on the hill a little longer, watching the sky as if he expected some sort of sign from the wishing star. There wasn't one, but by the time he turned to walk back down the hill, his tears had dried and his heart had lifted--at least a little bit.

There, are you happy I said it? I've been living alone ever since I was a foal. There are so many things I can't do. And most days, I can't find a reason to enjoy life. So I guess what I'm asking for, wishing star, is a friend. Someone loyal, someone I can swim with, someone I can spend time with and not get bored--someone who makes me feel like there's something good in the world and that maybe, just maybe, I can accomplish something. It doesn't have to be some big friend, and it doesn't have to be a Soquili. Heck, I don't think I could put up with a Soquili--just send me some other kind of friend. Someone to share my estuary with. That's all I'm asking for, wishing star. A friend."
