With the flames of war dying down, Selina moved onto the haunting task of scavenging the various lands for forgotten survivors. The young woman volunteered herself for this service for two reasons. The first was skill based, as her sensory techniques would better help find those who were hidden in debris. The second reason was personal. As someone who saw the onslaught of Seizan all of those years ago, Selina felt as though it was her duty to do all she could for the people fortunate enough to survive such tragedies. It was for this reason that she continued to find and salvage the people she could. For the moment her best answer was to seal the injured into scrolls. She was fortunate at the moment to not find anyone who needed more dire assistance.
There was blood everywhere, Obei trying so desperately to lift the fallen building wall from the few trapped underneath. Their cries reached her ears so desperately but Obei had tired, beaten, worn out. "Please help!""Daddy! I'm scared..." The oni let out another grunt as she poured every last ounce of strength into lifting the wall off of those trapped inside. She let out a huff before managing to slowly push the wall off, letting out a thunderous roar as bricks and foundation shattered upon making contact with the ground. Once it was done, Obei crumbled to her knees as the past few hours of searching for survivors had taken its toll. Her ever glowing crimson eyes gazed over to the people under the wall. Their wounds were serious. Some of them were badly hurt. Others weren't even moving. Obei hadn't the slightest idea of medical knowledge but knew enough that it certainly wasn't looking good for these people. She forced herself back onto her two feet before collecting everybody on her body. A few children would walk with their parents, some clung to her body, latching onto her horn or shoulders while the free one would hold the few who couldn't.

Flower petals surrounded Obei and the people she recovered. The cherry blossoms floated in the air until a bunch of them materialized into Selina. The masked APD agent looked at the wounded kogarashi agent. At first, there would be a moment of silence. However, the girl took off her mask and looked at the giant woman with the softest concern. “Are you the one who has been gathering the people?” She asked, enamored by the sheer will one, in her mind, brave Arashi ninja could perform. “You have done breathtaking work. Now please let me help.” She said as she placed her hands ever so softly on the woman’s shoulders. She knew how tired the woman was; she could sense her emotions. Selina knew that this horned woman needed support, which was what she specialized in.
The people Obei gathered were in varying degrees of damage. Selina figured that there were some she could deal away to have a medic heal later, but some of them looked in such critical position that they needed direct medical attention. Selina counted four such people; two children, a woman, and a teenage boy. She felt guilt flare within her as she turned back to Obei. “I can save these people, but while I do so I won’t have any ability to fight. If you have it in you, I beg that you give me the cover I need to make this work.” She pleaded. It felt wrong of her to ask so much from someone who had already gave so much. However, her sensory powers still sensed threats looming in the distance, which meant that using her powers put her at serious risk. At the same time, not using her powers put these people in serious life or death crisis. It was for that reason why she pleaded.
Obei's eyes were gathered around the flower petals which suddenly had appeared throughout the area she and the others had been. Her fists clenched, already quite on edge from the lawless lands here. They assembled together into a small woman with pink hair, her face masked behind a similar item that Obei could have sworn she had seen quite a few of during the attack on Arashi those many years ago. The two exchanged glances as Obei stood silently. A few of the children would speak up, clearly recognizing the woman and her many deeds. "It's her! We're saved!""An Arashi agent came to save us!""It's okay, honey. We're safe now." The chattering people left Obei to hesitate responding to her question. She had met many who heard of her deeds, roaming the lands and simply hoping to find atonement for what she had done to Arashi. The mere mention of the village was enough to make her wish she could go back. Her past with Kogarashi was behind her and she wanted it to stay that way.
"Obei is." Obei stated with the stoic looked still painted on her face. "People hurt bad. Very bad." The petal woman came forward to assess the damage each member of the group possessed, with the critical few taking up the majority of her time. Thankfully she was a medic but it would be dangerous simply treating people out in the open like this. She begged the taller woman to cover her during her healing. It wasn't needed, as Obei would do everything in her power to defend these people to her final breath. "Obei protect. Save people." The oni clanged both gauntlet wielding fists together, a loud metal sound coming out as she got into a battle ready stance. It was clear she was hurt and winded but still, Obei would suffer. It was what she deserved.

”Obei?” Selina asked inquisitively. The way the other spoke was foreign to her, and she was confused as to what the word meant. However, as Obei rose to her feet and clanged her gauntlets, Selina felt a burst of resolve and grief resonate through the trembling emotions of the villages. It was then that the woman nodded and smiled. “Thank you, Obei. If you didn’t know already, then I’m Selina.” She said, as she knew her name was known through the village. She was both an officer of the law and the teenage pop idol sensation. Still, it was only polite for Selina to introduce herself back to the woman who so bravely fought for others.
Selina moved over to the children first. A single hand hovered over each of them as she kneeled in between the two. Selina closed her eyes and accessed the power given to her by the Miyamoto. The warmth of a bond manifested to both children as through this bond, Selina performed her ninjutsu. While most people assumed that Selina was a medical ninja, this belief was incorrect. However, through the combination of the Miyamoto powers, as well as her chiru clan, she could use her clan through another body. This made her temporarily unavailable to her own bloodline, but in return her technique started to mend the two children with the flower petals.
“I should only need a few minutes.” Selina called out to her new ally. However, as she began her transfer of powers, her sensory abilities detected something big. This creature was gliding below the ground and was heading toward Obei. “Obei! Something is headed your way.” Selina called out. Her words would reach her just a few moments before a sinkhole started to form by Obei’s feet. Even if she dodged it, the real threat manifested fifteen feet in front of her. Out of the ground sprung out a giant black snake. White bones covered the snake like armor, and the python reached approximately twenty feet above the ground, with another ten feet still buried in the ground. On its ebony head was a gold skull cap which wrapped around its snout nose. Yellow eyes stared at the massive appetizer course before it gave out a massive roar in hunger.

"Suh-Lee-Nah" Obei repeated in front of the woman. It was more about memorizing her name than anything else but she was just glad to be help for the woman. She was normally the go to option for a meat shield anyway. Obei kept a watch for anybody coming along while the healer worked her magic. She couldn't see or feel anybody approaching from nearby which was a good sign. It had been quiet and she doubted whether or not that they would had a chance to take a breather. Selina shouted out to warn of her incoming danger in time for Obei and be on guard. The crackle of the ground below the oni's feet was enough to cause her to body flicker out in time, the place where she had been resting now swallowed into a hole of the earth. The thing that had attacked raised its head form the ground, a giant snake which roared at the group of them. Was it really a snake? It seemed more like some hellish nightmare.
"" Obei spoke clearly in her kin's tongue, letting out a ferocious roar of her own while forming her hands into different hand seals in quick succession. After ending on Rooster, Obei smashed her hand into the ground, fueling the technique as the area around her and the giant snake would began to grow cold. From the ground, large icicles began to grow rapidly from the ground, upturning soil, trees and even parts of anything else nearby. If the snake didn't move in time, it too would be in danger of having that head pierced.

The serpent cried out as the ice spears collided with its skull. The gold skull shielded his head, but the force of the spike caused the body to swerve to the side. Once it balanced back to facing Obei, the giant snake roared once again. Selina noticed the serpents chakra being radiated from it and into the metal around her. Obei’s gauntlets shivered slightly. “Obei be careful!” Selina shouted as one of the two children was recovered. The metal gauntlets dissolved into metal sand which then fired into pelts of bullets. Obei would have a challenge to dodge such an intimate attack.

Her attack had landed. Good, but it would only mean that the beast would be striking to kill her if she failed. Another huff with let out as the snake would begin to roared around, her gauntlets shaking as Obei clenched onto them. "" Selina yelled out to her while the girl spun around to her, only to find her gauntlets dissolved and firing bits and pieces of sand her way. She cursed to herself, crossing her arms to shield herself from the attack.
If Selina were to look, Obei's arms would look...well, unnatural was a good way to describe them. Where the fingertips lie came a streak of an ethereal blue color that rode down until it just barely reached the elbows. The flesh itself was white though near the blue color looked even more unhealthy, shades of blue. It was almost as if her chakra was just barely being contained inside of her. Obei swung the large gourd on her bake forward, some of her kakkigori spilling out while bringing both fists together. Sake rose from its container and coated her hands into it formed an icy, sake ridden pair of claws.
Obei continued to assault and rushed forward, channeling some more chakra through her sake gauntlets when within striking distance. She would launched two powerful attacks that not only had enough cold on her hypton to begin the effects of frostbite but also possessed the potency of her naturally powerful sake. These two strikes launched at a speed where it normally took her time to wind up a single punch, and also came to end with a blast of chakra that came from her body.

Selina gasped as the attack collided into Obei. The corner of her eyes teared as she focused intently on mending the last of the wounded. Her new companion was so strong and enduring the monster for so long. Her lack of assistance strained her, but she watched in anticipation as Obei launched her strikes. The serpent decided to counter the direct attack with a forward lunge of its head. However, it failed to anticipate the sheer power of Obei. It's head was knocked to the side with the first blow, and then the head was cleaved off with the second. The serpent's body sunk into the ground as the head laid limpless on the ground before Obei. For a moment, there was calm.
Selina's smile transitioned to fear in a moment's notice. "Obei! Something's terribly wrong." She said as her chakra sensory was going haywire. The entity should have died when it's head came off, but instead chakra was gathering like wildfire just before their very feet. As Obei would have the time to gather herself, twelve heads erupted in a cage like fashion around Obei's base of operation. Each head had a different color skull while the gold skull one rose once more to look at the woman who managed to cut off its head. "They're all one creature Obei. It's base is way below us." Selina shouted as the monster's torso was approximately fifty feet below them. Selina did not know if Obei had the skills to get there or would just duke it out with the heads. All she did know is that once she finished mending this last person then she could assist.

the head was blown clean off as Obei would let out an exhausted huff and then proceed to spin on her heel and begin back around to Selina, the weariness in her eyes all too clear. The oni trudged forward at her companion before her exclamation. The battle was not yet over. Several heads emerged from the ground similar to the one which Obei had knocked clean off, twelve in total. Already quite tired from the day's events, she took a deep breath and focused some of her chakra into the upper part of her chest. It was silent for a moment before her body would begin to grow. It towering over Selina and the others she had been protecting. She hit the 9 foot mark, then ten...all the way until she was double her original size, 14'4"! She looked down at the pinked haired woman and huffed before looking back at the heads. She felt her rage winning over while her eyes began to shine that right shade of red, embracing her bloodlust. Obei roared as the heads and began their clash.
The heads swung and ducked and dove and whatever else started with the letter "d". Obei grit her teeth and charged up an attack of her own. Even in her raging mind, the idea of protecting Selina and the others was still dominant in her mind. "SUH-LINA-UH. SHIELD!" She raised both hands, a blood red chakra swirling around them as Obei let out another fearsome roar while holding them both into the air. "EVEN THE GROUND TREMBLES!" There was a small soft sound of flesh hitting the ground before an explosive shock wave rocked the area in front of Obei. Selina's group would be safe behind Obei. In front of her, however, the ground would be ripped apart. The ground sundered beneath her, each hand causing a twenty five foot foot deep canyon. The earth around them had been turned into a wide crater for miles onwards. The creature's torso, however, was exposed to the outside world.

The ground trembled as Obei increased her size. Selina hastily formed seals as she then slammed her hands on the floor. A kanji seal manifested along the ground which then rose into a spherical barrier. The barrier shielded Selina and the refugees from the force of the shockwave as Obei made her strike, cleaning cleaving the heads off of the serpents. When Obei finished swinging the heads dropped and the body was exposed. Frantic beating erupted from the mass as each head was severed. When the last head was cut, there was a pause. After a long silence, the threat was over.
Except it wasn't.
A massive neck rose from the floor to ensnare Obei. It's weight and movement was designed to crush her in a moment. Of course even if it did catch Obei, her sheer size would prohibit it from performing the instant kill. If Obei was captured then the tightness of it would be a harrowing experience. Regardless of the success the serpent head rose. The familiar golden helmet covered the skull of the vicious hydra. Its mouth elongated in order to better consume the wounded giant with. As the mouth moved to engulf her, however, it suddenly halted just as it almost encompassed her.
The creature was suspended in place as twitches of life wrestled from the plethora of flower petals which completely enveloped it. The petals trailed down to Selina, who returned the last person back to a stable condition, and thus regained her flower powers. A single arm extended toward the serpent as she rose to her feet and her open palm tightened into a fist. The petals pulled the neck away from Obei and forced it right by the body which the rogue dug up. Her anbu mask ignited into blue flames as a goddess manifested behind her. "Konohana no Sakuya!" Selina shouted in a tone suited for an order. The petals erupted into star shaped explosions which detonated all through the shaft and cascaded downward onto the body. The bulk of the beast exploded in a pink hellfire blaze which rose to part the clouds and pierce the heavens. This power was that of the most powerful shinobi. This was the force of the APD.
When the fire died down the goddess disbursed into blue flames. Selina's eyes moved over to Obei who was still critically wounded. "Hold on!" She shouted as flower petals enveloped her new companion. Just as she did with the petals reversed the damage the woman sustained both from this fight and from her previous encounters. This of course left Selina in a state where she did not have her bloodline to protect her, but she felt more safe than ever with Obei by her side. "You did it Obei. The people are saved thanks to you." She said with a warm, gentle smile. Thanks to Obei's devotion to others there were dozens of more people safe from the onslaught of Kogarashi. This was the work of a hero.

The ground had been sundered but Selina and her party were safe. Obei was just glad that they would be fine under the care of the masked woman. The battle was fought long and hard, heads severed and the oni cleared spent most of her energy. A stillness formed in the battlefield which she took to finally relax. An eruption came into view as one of the news would have her in its grasp, crushing her slowly as opposed to instantly thanks to her massive size. Obei moved closer to the serpent's mouth as it seemed impossible to escape. This was how she was going to die. At the jaws of a massive monster. No chance to find her mother again. No chance to see Kagami or Belamos for the rematch. Her entire body ached and she just gave in, going limp. The mouth enclosed her, and just as the fleeting rays of the sky were closing to the oni, it stopped. She tilted her head as her hearing would become sparse and vision blurred. The sky was growing. She was coming out of the serpent's mouth as the sight of petals surrounding her came to be.
Selina was down below, forcing the creature to drop her friend. Obei closed her eyes, returning to her normal size as she came to land on the ground. Everything was catching up to her. Her wounds from before and now were taking their toll. It hurt to even keep her eyes open for more than a few seconds. An explosion rocked her world as she felt the earth move from something nearby, then the feeling of petals dancing across her form. They tended her wounds, reversing the damage done to them. Obei felt a little better but was still beat after all that today had been. She pushed herself from the ground and went back over to her savior who thanked her.
"Obei...just want help now. No more hurt." She saidly simply, offering the beginnings of a smile behind her gaze. What was this feeling? Her heart felt warm and bouncy. Such a strange feeling. Very strange. Obei would look back at the ground and then to the woman. "Suh-Lee-Nah. We go home?" She asked.

"My anbu mask will work as my village symbol, so just use mine until you can get another one at the academy." She said gently. Once Selina tied the now armband, she took a passing glance at it. "You might want to keep it though. The pop of pink is really pretty on you." She said as the cloth of the armband was pink like Selina's hair. Obei clearly had a good aesthetic for her, but Selina loved the color pink. "Onward! To Arashi." She said as she led the group to the elevator which led straight to the elevated village.
