Gir yawned and stretched moving out of her den. She had slept longer than she should but now she was on the move. The female had things to do and people to see. The first thing was seeking out some of her siblings. The pride was booming and really Gir kept to herself for the most part so she hadn't seen any of her siblings in quite awhile so she figured she should check in and see how they were doing.
Strolling through the pride she nodded towards the few lions here and there that she recognized. Gir was thankful that the Stormborn weren't the type of pride to be picky about appearance since she knew she was odd looking with wings and colours. But not many would give her a sideways glance, she always wondered how she would fair out in the rogue lands which was why she never became a Reaver.

The prides activity had been up and down as of late, but the population still grew as couples settled in to produce, hopefully, stronger bloodlines. Eykt hadn't been one those lucky few to produce offspring, much to the dismay of his family, but he hadn't met any lioness, let alone the right lioness. None would stand up to his standards (just kidding, he doesn't have any).
Arguably one of the most ill equipped lions in his pride he stood alone. It was why he often spent time away from the prying eyes of family, not that they all sat around to judge him, but he felt it anyway. How could he not? The pride surrounding him prospered and he failed among prosperity.
So when he spotted his sister strolling, non-challantly, through the pride he didn't call out right away. Instead he watched the familiar gears stroll by a moment or two before finally breaking into a small sprint to reach her. "Gir!" He called out as he, in basic terms, chased her down. "How the hel are ya?" He smiled fondly at his sister and even gave a slight attempt at sucking in his gut. The gut which he grew while no long giving a hoot (but also over thinking).
Truth be told he had to bite the bullet and get out there.
