If your avatar was a contestant on Nickelodeon's Double Dare, which Incarnation of Double Dare would it be:
Classic, Super Sloppy, Fox Family, Nickelodeon Family, Super Special, 2000 or the 2018 Reboot?

Which team would the avatar play on, Red or Blue?

What Team Name would the avatar choose?

For those unfamiliar with Double Dare, its a game show that ran from 1986-1993 which was its original airing, then in 2000 as Double Dare 2000 on television in which two teams compete to win cash and prizes by answering trivia questions and completing messy stunts known as physical challenges.

Double Dare remains Nickelodeon's longest-running game show.

I don't remember the differences but Ai would probably be on the new one, 2000 maybe. She would be on team Blue (one of her favorite colors) and the team name would be Rose Chemistry.

On the television shows IRL:
Double Dare & Super Sloppy Double Dare, had 2 players on each team.
Family Double Dare & Double Dare 2000, on the other hand, had 4 players on each team.
One Difference is that Double Dare 2000 has the Triple Dare Challenge in the game's 2nd Round which is worth triple the dollars and a prize.
In Double Dare, Super Sloppy Double Dare & Family Double Dare, the Final Round is called the Obstacle Course.
Double Dare 2000 also has an Obstacle Course but its called the Slopstacle Course.

But in the Mermaid Princess RP Guild, Family Double Dare & Double Dare 2000 have options for 2 or 4 player teams.

Oh gotcha. Neat!

Family Double Dare had 2 versions:
The first was shown on the Fox Network from April 3 to July 23, 1988
and the second was shown on Nickelodeon from October 6, 1990 to February 3, 1993.

In the Fox Version, there's an expanded introduction:
TAKE THE PHYSICAL CHALLENGE!
Tonight, the whole family will dare to win on the game that's filled with spills and pack with prizes, Family Double Dare!

Also in the Fox Version:
The Toss-Up Challenges were worth the Dare Amounts in Round 1 & Round 2. $50 for Round 1 & $100 for Round 2
The 7th Obstacle in the Obstacle Course was worth a Cash Prize
Obstacle Course Prizes are shown after Before each Round
The Grand Prize is shown after all the segments of the Obstacle Course are introduced.

While in the Nickelodeon Version:
The Toss-Up Challenges were worth the Normal Amounts in Round 1 & Round 2. $25 for Round 1 & $50 for Round 2
All Obstacles contained a prize upon completion
The expanded introduction is not shown
Obstacle Course Prizes are shown after the introduction of each Obstacle in the Obstacle Course

Oh, I almost forgot, I missed one incarnation of Double Dare & that is the 2018 Reboot. The Original, Super Sloppy, Fox Family, Nickelodeon Family & 2000 are the classic versions to my knowledge.

Super Spacial Double Dare was short lived in 1992 as it only aired two episodes. The first being an NBA All-Star Edition & the other had TV Guest Stars. The only Episode to have the Obstacle Course being completed was the NBA one.

The gameplay of Super Special Double Dare is the same but all Obstacle Course Segments contained a Bonus Cash Prize in addition to a Prize:
Segments 1-2 had a $25 Bonus
Segments 3-4 had a $50 Bonus
Segments 5-7 had a $100 Bonus
Segment 8 had a $250 Bonus

Segments 3-4 had a $50 Bonus
Segments 5-7 had a $100 Bonus

In the Sneak Preview of Super Sloppy Double Dare during the Super Bowl, the Obstacle Course Segments had a $500 Cash Bonus Prize for each Obstacle Course segment that was completed leading to a Grand Total of $4,000.

The only Episode to have the Obstacle Course being completed with the $500 Cash Bonus Feature was the Slime Bowl Preview.

The 2018 & 2019 Reboots also had a Cash Bonus for their Tournament Specials, with each Obstacle Course segment being worth $1,000 for each Obstacle Course segment that was completed & when all 8 segments were completed that Cash Bonus total is automatically brought up to the Grand Prize being worth $10,000.

Sometimes, on Double Dare, there would be a toy rowboat shown.
